Recent Review: This project took place in 2 phases: 1.  After designing the patio addition, the concrete guys came to pour the addition patio.  We were not home for this part.  The patio addition itself was perfect and agreed upon shape and well done.  However, in the process of cleaning up, the crew broke a hose pipe.  They did fix it the same day, but my husband had to go back and do additional repairs later, as there was another break in the line, further underground.  Also, the crew left chunks of concrete in the grass, there was a large smear of concrete residue on the iron gate to the back yard, and concrete was splattered on the windows and siding of the house where the addition was poured.  Additionally, the crew's truck knocked a decorative stone off our driveway's culvert.  After the entire project was completed, the Carvestone crew took care of much of the clean up.  But, there is still some concrete splatter on the house.  Allied also had to send someone out twice to fix the stone on the culvert.  We did not pay them the final portion of the project balance until this was completed.  Given how much trouble it was to get these items addressed, I'm concerned if we hadn't had this leverage, it would have taken much longer. 2.  After the concrete addition cured, the Carvestone crew came out to prepare the existing pea gravel deck for the Carvestone application.  This crew was courteous and professional and worked extra hard to do a good job.  The Carvestone pattern was customized, as was the color selection, to our desires and turned out beautifully.  Once completed, we needed a few touch-ups with the mastic used in the joints of the patio.  I contacted the project supervisor, but we ended up going back and forth with him for over a week.  I finally got in touch with the head of the Carvestone crew, who was unaware that we needed the additional touch-ups.  He came out the very next day and took care of it. We have come to expect hiccups in projects of this scope.  Overall, these were manageable and didn't negatively affect the end result.  We are extremely pleased with the finished product.  We would consider using Allied again if we do another outdoor project.

Recent Review: Better than I expected. I've had a hard getting anyone to return calls for several projects. Alfredo and his team are great. I picked out the plants but help was there when I needed it. They gave suggestions on where to place plants and how to care for them. They beat their timeline. Did what they said they would do plus more. If I have any issues, they encouraged me to call. I can't say enough about them. I will use them again.

AZTA Landscaping, LLC
He's very friendly and really went over the different options very thoroughly. He was patient with my indecisiveness. They would get back with me quickly. I had to put the project on hold for a while and they were patient and kept the estimate at the original price.

I love the pavers and what they did but its starting to fall apart. I just need some repairs. I have been trying to get a hold of the company but there is a huge communication issue. They don't responded to my calls or emails.  The work they do is professional but there's no follow up when needed.

We are currently deciding between three companies for our landscaping needs. So far our experience has been great with this company. They were great bout getting scheduled for a quote and measurements. When the workers came out they were professional and gave us a quote that has several different options that keeps our budget in mind. Once we obtain the third quote we will decide on the company who will do the work in our yard.

FTEMPLE SERVICES
We cut down the hedges and removed all fencing and shrubbery to the dump. Mr. Matthews came by and told us we needed pea gravel and the railroad ties before they could begin work. He took offense when asked how many workers he had. When we got gravel and ties, we notified him. He sent over a family of workers, husband, wife, son, daughter, sister and nephew. They only had a large machete knife to work with; they chopped at the ground for about an hour then went to lunch. They returned and sat in next door neighbors yard for remainder of day because they had no tools. WE rented a tamper, dug a trench, spread the gravel, and tamped some gravel in the bottom of the trench. The next day two young boys and the worker returned, my husband helped them move several ties into place. He showed them how to drill holes through ties to put rebar. They were using all our tools, then broke our drill ($150.00). They left and did not return. We hired another company.
