Recent Review: PuroClean was fantastic in their response to my roof leak from recent rains. Jennifer and Bobby Dean, owners, were professional and knowledgeable. They dried out my sheetrock and found ways to do it with minimal damage. They are such nice people and I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again if needed!

I have total confidence in them and peace of mind that everything will be taken care of from start to finish. They are very professional. We don't use anyone else and always call them when we need repairs. I will recommend them and use them, again.

Recent Review: Called them at 5 PM to look into the Ice Machine issue I had.  The water damage was caused by that Ice Maker.  I dealt with Ryan and he has been out every day to make sure the water damage was not leading to other areas.

QD Restoration
Recent Review: In February I had water dripping from the breakfast area ceiling through one of the recessed lights due to a small leak in the upstairs bathroom. I called various contractors from Angie’s List and while I picked one vendor to fix the leak, Will’s All Pro had offered a free service for thermal imaging that would evaluate the water damage in the ceiling which I took advantage of as well. The contractor sent by Will’s All Pro provided a verbal estimate to my father who was standing in for me that day and had indicated he’d call me to discuss. I reached out to request a formal estimate to Will’s All Pro to find that they were not providing the service, but one of their sub contractor companies were: QD Restoration. After providing me the contact info I called QD Restoration (assuming highly rated Wills All Pro backed up this company), received the estimate and approved to move forward with repairing of sheet rock, drying of cavity and restoring sheet rock and drywall removed as part of the repair. I have very high ceilings and the contractors came in on March 30th with a tall ladder none of them knew how to use. My dad ended up setting it up for them. They indicated that the extent of the damage was not as bad as originally indicated and ultimately the area cut out was approximately 2.5 x 2 feet. Regardless they left various machines in place for drying out the area and since it was Friday they left it over the weekend. On Monday, 2 April no one came and I had to call to get ahold of them. They said they weren’t working that day but we could turn off machines. On Tuesday, 3 April, a contractor came without an appropriate ladder, said it was too high and left. Then on Wednesday, 4 April they finally removed all the equipment. To note the machines were extremely noisy and had been running over 72 hours and no one had reached out…we had to call to get feedback on what was next and the ceiling was still not repaired. One week later, on 9 April after calling multiple numbers I had for QD restoration I finally reached someone who told me they’d call yet another subcontractor and gave me the number for me to try as well. When I finally reached the latest contractor in this process, who was to repair the ceiling, he said he’d come on the 11th but he didn’t show up. We called again and he said it would be the next day. The next day he arrived with no knowledge of the issue, he didn’t know how high the ceiling was and that he’d come again in another week to fix the ceiling on 17 April. That same day we received an invoice for the original estimated amount!!! Even when the work was not completed and the damage was much smaller than originally estimated! They sent the invoice to my dad even when I indicated multiple times that I was the owner and each time I spoke to someone it was someone different who didn’t have the details of the work. Ultimately the contractor never showed up and after almost a month of endless calls to multiple subcontractors I cancelled the remaining work. All I received was a dishonest apology; “I’m sorry about that, here’s your bill”. The charges reduced were a joke and QD Restoration did absolutely nothing to demonstrate good service. I was charged $1300 to make a ~2x2 foot hole in my ceiling and leave 3 machines over the weekend which was likely unnecessary but no one bothered to check on them. They’re irresponsible, take no accountability, overcharge and do not communicate well among their own contractors. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.

Recent Review: Very good work, cleaned up after themselves. Would hire them again for any further needs. I feel the foundation is much more stable now after the repairs than it was before the damage. Definitely know what they are doing. They provided an estimate that the insurance company accepted without question which made things go faster and easier.

SERVPRO of Guadalupe & Gonzales Counties
Recent Review: We had our kitchen flooded after a botched dishwasher installation. The wet floor included all the kitchen, the dining area and into the carpeted living area (about 500 square feet). We turned the water off and started to clean up. However, we noted the baseboards were wet and moisture had leaked under the walls and was running down the outside of the foundation. I knew we would have major moisture damage unless this was addressed quickly. I called Servpro of Guadalupe and Gonzales Counties (The house was in Schertz, TX) They were there in LESS THAN AN HOUR! The emergency service call by Mr. Cole Salyer was very extensive. He has very polite and professional. WITHIN AN HOUR the emergency setup team was there. All the baseboards were removed, holes drilled in the drywall behind the baseboards and the drying equipment was started. He said it might take 3 days, but it only took 2 days. The baseboards were easily reinstalled by our handyman. It looks great and you can not tell there was any water leak. Since there would be a third party paying for the repair Servepro graciously allowed the payment to be put on hold. It took over 7 weeks for the third party payer to pay us. Whitney at the main office stayed in touch with me discussing the process of approving the payment. She is very pleasant and professional. Sometimes it is hard to remain pleasant when discussing payment issues with a client. I hope I will never be placed in a situation like this again, but if I am Servpro will be called..

Reviews in San Antonio to Remove Water or Flood

BBelfor Property Restoration of San Antonio
Water connection under bathroom sink broke on a Saturday; flooded bathroom, 2 hallways, and part of carpeted bedrooms.  Took them a few hours to get here as crew was on another call.  Husband and son had removed water before they got here.  They checked to see how far water had gone; set up 5 large fans (air movers) and 2 dehumidifiers which ran for 3 days.  After 3 days, they came back and removed equipment.  They also sprayed something under cabinets and carpet to prevent mold. Not sure about the cost as we did not call anyone else for estimate.  I thought it was a little high since they didn't actually do any water extraction, but my husband thought it was ok.

They were prompt, quick, and checked the wall and carpet for water damage. We'll be sure to call them next time we need an estimate or require a real water damage service.
