When our A/C failed, we received a couple of bids that were quite high. Thirty minutes after calling Air Systems, Carlos Jimenez, the general manager, arrived and examined our system. I asked him for bids on four Trane models. His bids were detailed and very informative. The prices were the best by far. We chose the Trane XV18. Air Systems provided a contract with proof of insurance, carefully installed the system and took care of permits, inspections and CPS and federal credits. Air Systems is an excellent company and we highly recommend them.

I was impressed with how fast Peter responded and how thorough he was to make sure he found the exact problem and associated repair. My unit is old and rusty, and I expected to hear I would have to replace the entire thing. What a relief to get my A/C back on after a simple (and much less expensive) motor repair. He even had the proper part in his truck so the A/C was back on just a couple of hours after my initial call. I will never call anyone else for my heating and cooling needs.

Well my appointment was forgotten to start. Sent Matt Baumann who snoops which is invasion of privacy in my home. Views business cards without my permission, then he starts bashing the other companies and bashing the names of how they no longer work for Jon Wayne. Tried to sell me a package that were outrageous. Whines like a child asking for cash money. I think he needed his diaper changed. Takes advantage of single women and Senior Citizens or is it race? Make sure you read the back of documents in small print carefully. Any deviation you will lose your 10 year protection plan! I complained twice on Matt Baumann and for some reason they protect him rather than customers. I will ask owners Don and Brandon Rackler to review all his sales very carefully. I had to tell Matt that he forgot to check the box for the Electric Panel and wrote something by it for a cheap one. He tried to slip one on me regarding the Maintenance Plan. He writes in $480.00 per year with first year free?? The maintenance plan is part of the Rescue Club Service Plan!!!!!????? Manager Maddie said she will get to the bottom of this and would send someone that is Professional and would call me back. She never called me back and when I finally spoke to her she went haywire rude! That my new appointment will be canceled???? What a witch! Don and Brandon if you want proof I have the paperwork!

Overall, I can't complain as Texperts came and did what they needed to do when we were in a desperate situation; our two year old air conditioner had gone out the night before in a two year old home in more than 100 degree daytime heat. With a 12 month old infant in a house at 90 degrees, we were in bad shape. I called Texperts at 9 AM, and they promised to have a technician from 12-3 at my home. The technician (I can't recall his name did a terrific job and educated me on the problem and the part that failed; he fixed it within 20 minutes. I was very pleased with this and that he got our air conditioner working. This is why I would give Texperts a very good evaluation overall. I can't comment on the price; for the work that was done, what I paid seems like a lot, but I have no basis on which to judge. I had no choice but to pay this. Whether it's your car, an appliance or other issue with your home, especially if someone has to come to the home to fix it, you are going to face a high cost in many cases that's in the hundreds of dollars. I have no reason to say this was too much or too little; they did not charge me for the service call. I appreciate the fact that these businesses have certain operating costs, and I'm confident they also have a business model that makes plenty of money to fix something to insure they can stay in business. The customer must be aware of this and plan for it as you might need to dip into your savings or other funds unexpectedly to take care of these situations. I did not give punctuality a high grade.. Texperts promised to get someone to my home between 12 and 3. The technician did not show until nearly 4 PM. I understand he had a job in another area of town that ran late. While this is understandable and they called me at 3:20 to tell me this, I had to take an entire half day off work waiting for someone to come. Understandably, I just need to accept that, but with limited time off, if they could have stayed in contact with me, I might have only had to take an hour or two off work. I will accept and take blame for this as I should have planned better and worked this out (a call 30 minutes before. It's a lesson learned; whether I'm justified or not, that' why I gave the rating I did in the punctuality category. Shame on me for not doing a better job and sitting around for hours. This was the most frustrating part of all. Yes, I would hire them again. Yes, they got the job done. Of course, I would rather not have my air conditioner break as you don't want to find yourself needing this type of service. It's going to cost you.

We called Mr. Erwin based on Angie's List reviews and one previous experience (positive) with this company. Our A/C kept cutting out on the really hot afternoons we had August 2011. Oddly, it would come back on about 8pm each day, but it was a long hot afternoon without A/C. Mr. Erwin's repairman arrived within the time window we were told and behaved in a professional manner. He did not actually fix the problem we were having - after his work was done and $300 later, the A/C was still cutting out in the heat of the afternoon. Why am I not angry? 1) We called our electrician and determined that the problem was with the circuit breaker (overheating in the hot afternoon sun) and got that fixed for very little money and 2) Our electricity usage since the work by Mr. Erwin has dropped despite the fact that it's still insanely hot. With the reduction we're seeing, we will recover our $300 in just a few months. We conclude: Mr. Erwin did repairs that benefit us and were needed, they simply weren't the repairs that addressed our specific problem at the time. Because of this, they only got a and quot;Band quot; from us. Had the repairman urged us to look at repairing the circuit breaker (outside his skills to perform, but surely he knows something about power supply issues for A/C units?), they would have scored an and quot;A.and quot;

Poor and would never recommend Climate Control Heating and Air Conditioning again. Home Depot recommended this contractor to install new air conditioner for us. The provided an estimate then installed a SEER 15 central air conditioner TRANE XR 15 2 Ton. Within 3 weeks the unit shut down and we called the installer. Because it was about 5:30 pm he told us to call the office for the after hours technician called and left message as instructed but no one called and warm/ uncomfortable night. Someone came the next day and "fixed" unit. withi a week (now July 4th) it stopped working again, and again no call back on the after hours emergency number--another uncomfortable day. Poor service, poor equipment- sham on Home Depot for not choosing better contractors, shame on Climate Control for not providing better service, and potentially shame on TRANE for faulty equipment

Recent Review: A good friend recommended this company as they had been using them for years. About two years ago, our washing machine stopped running and repairman was dispatched. He instantly identified the problem and replaced a bad switch. Last spring, in the middle of a large home remodeling project, one of the central air conditioners went out. Wilks was very professional in their response, bidding and installation of a new unit and furnace. They took great care to explain the bid and how the work was to be performed. They did some extras in the installation that many company's never thought to address. Great job. The remodeling included all new appliances including a new washer and dryer. The contractor's plumbing company did significant work which we were pleased with but WOULD NOT install the dryer. The new unit had to be taken apart and the exhaust vent had to be modified to vent out the side rather than the back. I called Wilks, they assessed the situation and said no problem and installed it the way we needed in their normal professional manner. Not the cheapest, but not the most expensive. I will gladly pay the price to receive knowledgeable, professional service like they provide.
Recent Review: Called the company and they sent a very polite person to the home. He diagnosed the problem as a couple of wires that had over heated and kicked a breaker and blew a fuse. Fixed it promptly. We had waited 2 weeks to call for fear they would say the system had died and we needed a total replacement. We are seniors.

Recent Review: Mr AC is the sister company to Mr Plumber whom I used to repair my water heater. Mr AC is a new venture so when they were working on my water heater the technician asked if Mr AC could come out to service my air conditioner and did not charge me for it. They were very good and responsive. I will use them again in the future.
Recent Review: Air Clinic replaced my entire A/C and Heater system. Their consultant, Bobby Barns, did an accurate evaluation of the replacement job. Very fair pricing. Their installers, Rocha and Ramira did an excellent install without any problems. Very good workmanship. Air Clinic does a followup quality control inspection. Ben did the quality inspection, made a slight adjustment. Very thorough. The new system works great. When you call Air Clinic, Michele or Shelly answers, they take care of business. Air Clinic also registers your system with the manufacturer for warranty and sends you the registration documents.
