CTexas ADA Home Remodeling
Work started on November 4th and finally completed December 6th. Worked included re-tile shower and bathroom floor, install handicap bars and bench, install new shower fixture and valve, remove door and tear down half-wall then plaster and paint. Overall the work was just okay. We had to keep calling them back to correct some issues Iike toilet not working, drill holes in tiles that had to be replaced, pick up trash and unused supplies. I believe the problem was this was a 7-10 FULL workday project they tried to complete in 4 1/2 days. So they kept sending workers over in the evenings to try and finish. Somedays no workers would show up at all. Needless to say, my parents were unable to use their bedroom bathroom for almost a month. I don't like to give a bad review but, this company was on the Veterans Administration HISA so I expected more from them. I had three other estimates from other companies but decided on them because they specialized in handicap install. My personal opinion is they should NOT do handicap veterans' remodeling projects. Our Veterans and elderly need to have the work completed in expediated time and with the highest quality of craftsmanship, they deserve it. I hope this company can improve with time. I wish them the best.

FSKILLED SERVICES OF SAN ANTONIO
I got this company out of the telephone book. We seemed to have good rapport. He met my son and we went to Lowes to pick out the product. He said he was licensed and bonded and everything. We paid for the materials and he said if we bought the faucets and lights he would put them in for free. They came every day to do the work. My son said he thought they had a situation with connecting pipes but he wasn't sure. They didn't seal the pipes or weld them properly. I asked if he was going to paint the ceiling and doors and he said no. There was a big gap between the carpet and doors. My daughter came and helped me make the list and there were over 20 things wrong that needed to be fixed. Their crew said they were only being paid for 3 days and said they couldn't do the work. They had actually poured cement on my lawn in the corner of my house thinking I wouldn't see it. Somebody negligently did the piping and now it leaks. I ended up having to hire a master plumber to find the leak and cut the ceiling out and dry everything out. There was mildew everywhere and everything was soaked. The tile all had to be pulled up and it was so wet they could just peel it up. All of the work they did has to be replaced. I gave him a $2,500.00 deposit for the work and he will not come out to fix things or refund my money. All of my appliances in the kitchen were full of water and they shocked me and the utility person that had to come out to shut the water off. It has ruined my stove and microwave and I don't have anything to prepare meals. My whole house is a mess. I am disabled and was not able to follow these workers around. I am a trustworthy person. There were things that were stolen from me. He has no respect for senior citizens because he has hung up on me several times. I communicated with Debbie and she told me I may as well call the Police. I finally got ahold of him and he told me he would not pay to fix anything and he would not pay for the medicine that was stolen from me. The damages that he has caused are now totaling up to $15,000-$20,000.

CANCHOR CONSTRUCTION CO INC
Once completed, anyone using the ramp would need to step down onto it to use it. It was not functional for any person with disabilities. I brought the step to their attention, and they were willing to fix it but for an additional price.

He remodeled my shower and did a terrific job! My husband is disabled veteran so it was difficult for him to get in and out of the shower so we needed walk in shower. He was detailed, thorough and caring. I'll hire him again for anything else that needs fixing or upgrading! We are very happy and beyond excited for this new shower.

ALC Quality Cleaning
I have been totally satisfied with all the services he has ever performed for me.  I am disabled and homebound and he has been my right hand and friend now for years.  He does a thorough job on home cleaning and, for that matter, on every thing he does for me..  I highly recommend him and will continue to use him.

AAO Design and Construction
Adam, who has his master's in Architecture, but hasn't taken all the tests to become an architect, originally did the design for me, a perfect architectural rendering of my ideas with all the accompanying sketches and specs, and he managed, by working closely with the City's Historic people, to get it through the approval process on their consent agenda! (I know experienced construction people who have had to go back more than once with their designs). Then he built the addition on time and on budget, and it is ten times more beautiful and functional than I could have imagined. He is a bit of a perfectionist - we had a bad moment when I told him he couldn't level my whole house (built in 1893) to match his perfectly level addition. The age of my house posed some serious problems, and Adam was extremely creative in his solutions, in the way he attached the addition to the roofs of the house and in the way he renovated the old parts of the house that had to be changed because of the addition (I had no ceiling on my bathroom for a while). He added some extremely pretty details, and didn't charge me for some of them because they weren't in the bid, but he did it because he wanted the new part of the house to match the original, and it does. You should see the rounded tails on my rafters! He and his family were polite and professional, and very patient and loving with my occasionally grumpy daughter. They put in the details she wanted even when it went against what they envisioned. Adam always consulted me on any decision that was important, and did it my way, without almost no fuss. And since I knew how propietary and perfectionist he was about his work, I knew it was an effort for him. Adam's father's many years of experience in construction and his nephew's excellent carpentry were vauluable assets to the project. I really wasn't expecting a good experience, and it was a wonderful experience. And although I didn't miss the noise and mess of construction (they left the site immaculate), I missed the Ochoas, after four busy months. I couldn't believe they did it on time, especially with all the disasters we encountered (bad water and gas pipes in the old part of the house, missing piers) and with some serious rain exactly when we had no roof on the connecting area of the old house. And of course, he had to cope with matching the addition up to the crooked old house. I highly recommend AO Design and Construction, especially if you live in a "Hysterical" District.

ATri-Built Services, Inc.
Jason, Mike, Enrique and all of the sub-contractors did a magnificent job on an extremely challenging remodel. Our teenage son has significant disabilities which required extensive overhauling of the existing home structure to accommodate his increasing size and weight. Much of the work Jason and the crew accomplished had never been attempted in a residential structure before. The site supervisor, Enrique, did an outstanding job of keeping the remodel on-time and maintaining a clean and orderly work site. We were able to remain in our home for the vast majority of the job, with minimal impact on our daily lives. In the several months since the work was completed, our son's and family's quality of life have greatly improved due to the modifications made and the high quality of the work done.
