Recent Review: Unlike many other contractors I tried to contact, Ron responded quickly to my call and came out to make an estimate . The price was in line with other bids. i would have felt comfortable using Caliber, but went with another contractor with more extensive experience in handicapped accessibility work.

Recent Review: In late 2006 I suffered a spinal cord injury resulting in permanent paralysis from the chest down. My home in the sugarhouse area was not wheelchair accessible. We decided to use Chimera Construction to make the house wheelchair accessible. Chimera Construction decided to make it a charity project and gathered donated material and labor from local companies. The addition would have cost us approx. $115,000. They were able to do the build for only $5,000.  This involved tearing down an old addition and building a larger one to accommodate a wheelchair and larger bathroom. They built a wheelchair accessible bathroom/shower and kitchen for me. A concrete ramp was built in the front which blended in perfectly. The covered deck built in the back turned out beautiful. We were 100% pleased with their work then and are still today. Every little detail was given full attention, not one thing was left unfinished. I would recommend them to anyone. Larry Leach
Recent Review: Our family had just moved into a new development and hired Larry to complete some tasks for us.  Larry was wonderful.  He arrived when he said he would and worked very efficiently.  All the work that he did for us from putting together furniture to installing hardware for our cabinets was done to our complete satisfaction. Where he really shined was building a wheelchair ramp for my 82-year-old mother.  Larry came up with a custom design with my input that worked extremely well in our garage.  It utilized the dead spaces and did not take up any parking space.  The ramp is very solid and secure.  Nothing wobbles and I feel very safe when wheeling my mom up and down the ramp.  When my mother saw it for the first time she said, "this is wonderful!" Larry's prices are extremely reasonable and we will definitely be using him again for some upcoming projects.  I heartily recommend him for any work you may have.
