Recent Review: I loved this company!  Jon (who sold me the shed), and Chrissy who handled all my calls afterwards were great!  I asked many questions, since a hot tub was going to go in the shed, and they were great at answering them thoroughly.  The workmen were great too, professional, courteous, and always cleaned up after themselves.  The shed and windows are excellent quality.  I would recommend this company to anyone.

Business Description: In 1975 William P. Lantz opened Bill's Sales at its present location on East Main Rd. After working in construction and as a truck driver for many years, Bill decided to shift his focus to the building of storage sheds and lawn furniture. During the energy crisis of the 1970s Bill began selling and delivering firewood. This was a family business, his mother took care of all of his bookkeeping and helped by answering the phone. His three young nephews worked with him part time after school and during summer vacations. Bill continued to run the business until his death in 1991. The family kept the business going until Bill's nephew Bob decided to take over full time. Since taking over in 1993 Bob has expanded the line of storage sheds to include 9 different styles. Bob has also begun to sell gazebos, arbors and other yard accessories. As the work load increased over the years Bob has been able to hire 5 employees, including two family members.
Recent Review: Post Woodworking was prompt and courteous. They also tailored the design of this wooden shed to conform with our need for a shed that was considerably less tall than the one they had in the catalogue. The materials and workmanship were good, not great, but with no overt problems. The appearance of the new shed is very nice. The price was high in relation to some of the pre-formed sheds we looked at. We would go back to them again for a customized shed that really looks fine.
Recent Review: My wife and I were very satisfied with the whole process - from choosing our shed and ordering the details, to watching the incredibly organized way it was installed, and then seeing the finished product. We feel we got a well-built shed for the money we paid. We would whole-heartedly recommend anyone considering purchasing a shed to contact Reeds Ferry Shed first - you won't be disappointed! We are very pleased with ours!!

AEastern Shed Company
The shed I ordered from Eastern Shed was installed on Tuesday 9/20/16 and I am thrilled about it, although its already full of items I should have thrown away. I had researched many companies and read a lot of reviews and came down to Eastern Shed and another company. . Both prices for the shed and options I wanted were competitive with each other, however I chose Eastern Shed because the same options I chose were a lot lower in price than the other company, in addition to not trying to sell me something I may not need. When I reviewed everything with Eastern Shed, I had asked about hurricane anchors which were $75 per pair and whether I needed 4, one in each corner and I was told they would do anything I wanted but it was really not needed due to the way the shed was built and how heavy it was. This really sold me on the company, the other company I received a quote from just added to the price. This told me Eastern Shed was sincere in providing customer satisfaction and not just trying to make an extra buck. I found the shed to be extremely well built and the installation was superb. The two man crew arrived as scheduled, actually a little earlier and I was amazed on how organized they were and their attention to detail. I watched the whole process from my upstairs bedroom and could not believe how fast the installation took, just as your the rep stated about 1 1/2 hrs. I have no problems recommending this company for any of your shed needs. Thank you, James R Parker

AUncle Wayne's
Had two shed doors that were in need of repair.  Thought I was going to have to completely replace them but Uncle Wayne's came in, reinforced them and made them look like new.   VERY PLEASED

ABernard Construction
He was on time. He had to make 4 columns of concrete in the ground for the foundation to sit on on the last one he ran into a tree stump and couldn't get around it. He called the city to to see if he could just leave it and the city stated that it wouldn't be up to code. He lost almost a whole day of work because he had to move where the shed was to be built. He accepted a $100 for the day wasted since he had to relocate the shed.

AAurora Handyman Service
The 25 year old shed that my husband built was beginning to show it's age. I wanted to restore it to all it's glory. I was able to quickly get an estimate and work began shortly there after. Jim and Alex did a fine job replacing all the water damaged trim & siding. The shed looks like new and is one of my favorite focal points in the yard when the window boxes are in bloom!

DWestport Handy Guy
Not good. Nice guy but kind of on his own island. Everyone's experience is different by mine was Jim was unreliable. Met on July 26, he told me to powerwash the shed and wait 3 weeks for him to start. I p-washed it a week later and told him he could book a date from there. It was a hot summer but he could have said "sorry I can't do it, or I don't have time." After about 10 weeks and repeated attempts to reach him, he came over on the Friday before Columbus Day. He worked a solid full day, then left with the shed doors off the structure. Said he'd be back Monday and was a no show. Called him and he told me "have commitments" I'll come Thurs. Thur was supposed to rain so I offered to have him get paid for the job to just come back and put the doors and trim on and I would paint it. He never replaced the trim over the door. So while I'm never trying to appear to be out of line - you be the judge. Again, nice guy but I wouldn't hire him again for the total lack of effort to even schedule the job he said he'd do. Paid 70% of the cost, and have to do the painting myself.
