Recent Review: We are exceptionally happy to have found Roland. We initially contacted him to help us with a number of small jobs that we had been putting off because we just couldn't figure out how to do them ourselves. With his expertise, he was able to tackle them all in a day. He even finished a job we had started and gave up on (installing ceiling mounted curtain rods) at no extra charge! It was super to be able to cross off all those tasks and have them done so well. Not too long after, a piece of the wood floor in our bedroom cracked and left a large hole. We called Roland hoping he could repair it. Unfortunately, it turned out the floor could not be repaired because it was more than likely that other spots would develop due to the age, material, and lack of subflooring. Roland recommended a new floor and took the time to explain why he thought this was the best option. He never pressured us to have the installation done by him; he was just honest about what he thought was required to fix the problem. We did some research on our own and in the end decided to ask Roland to install some bamboo flooring. He did a beautiful job, cutting the sections so that the grain pattern looked aesthetically pleasing, removing and reinstalling the baseboard, and even reseating our closet doors just because he noticed they could use it. In addition to being talented, Roland is also very personable and easy to talk to. His prices seem very reasonable to me. I am not surprised he is very in demand, and that can result in his being a bit tricky to schedule, but he always got back to me and tried hard to find appointment times that worked for both of us.
Recent Review: We called and got an estimate the next day. The owner brought examples of the colors, and one of them was perfect. He then set up a time to do the installation that worked for us. On the day of installation it was done quickly and very well. The owner called us to check on our satisfaction shortly after the work was done.

Recent Review: I HAD SEEN THIS COMPANY'S WORK AND WAS IMPRESSED. THEY CAME TO MY HOME TO SHOW ME SAMPLES. i LIKE THAT THEY GUARANTEED THEIR WORK. THE WORK WENT SMOOTHLY AND THEY FINISHED ON TIME. I AM HAPPY WITH OUR NEW FLOOR.
Recent Review: I cannot say enough accolades about Bart's Flooring & Carpet Center. From the moment my husband and I stepped foot in the showroom, I knew we were in the right place. I needed to replace an old, worn kitchen floor, and Jeff knew exactly what I was trying to achieve with the new one. We anticipated putting in vinyl planking; however, Jeff suggested a hardwood-looking linoleum flooring he already had in stock. It was exactly the look I had been searching for! Steve, the installation guru, did a phenomenal job with the install - even removing the old vinyl that was down and replacing all appliances and furniture in their exact location when the job was done - all in one day! I will definitely be recommending Bart's to everyone I know!
Recent Review: When the rep came to help me pick out a flooring, I told him I wanted something to match, as best as possible, what I had in the rest of the house. The floor we both agreed upon seemed to be much darker than what I actually got. He also wrote down my phone number wrong, so I never heard in advance what time they were coming. I finally called the day before and was told they couldn't tell me until the next day, when they'd call between 8 and 9 a.m. By 10:15 I hadn't heard from them and called. They said they'd called, and that's when I discovered they had the wrong number. The operator finally told me they'd be coming between 3:00 and 6:00. I asked if they would be calling before coming and she assured me they would. I had her confirm the number to make sure they had the correct one. She did. By 4:15 I hadn't heard anything, when I got a knock at the door. Yep, it was them and they said they had been trying to call, but no answer. They still had the wrong number. So now they're in the process of laying the floor when it appears the floor is much lighter than what I thought I picked out. Okay, I let it go because it looked alright. By this time the lighting was very poor in that room, and it looked okay, but the next morning, I noticed that one piece was several shades different than the rest...and they put it right in the middle of the floor! I will be complaining to them about this today. I would not recommend them as neither the operator nor the workers seemed to care that I was unhappy.
Reviews in Providence to Install Laminate Flooring
Lumber Liquidators sub contracted out Bob Lancellota to install laminate floors. He had to put in 500lbs of cement in order to level the floor in the living room, which I had to pay $500 for. The $500 was only for the cement and didn't include labor. He dried the cement with a two small fans and didn't allow enough time for cement to dry before he put in the lament. After he did that, I saw that their were dips in the floor and he told me I had to wait three weeks for the laminate floor to conform with the cement floor underneath. I then noticed that in the bedroom, the closet door wouldn't open, because he didn't shave it down. I informed him of problem and when he came to do the living room he shaved down the closet door in the bedroom. The laminate floors on top of the cement had to be taken up a week later and I noticed the cracks in the cement that were 5-ft long. When weight is put on the cement it breaks. I contacted both Bob and Lumber Liquidators about problems and Bob said he would have to charge me more money. I contacted Lumber Liquidators and the contact person that they gave me told that I am not covered under the warranty. The men at Lumber Liquidators told me there was nothing they could do. I then went back to Bob and he said that he had done me favor in the beginning and told me he charged me less then what he should have, and informed me I will have to pay more. I wouldn't recommend Lumber Liquidators or Bob Lancellota for any job.

I went to their showroom and selected some samples of laminate flooring. Joe was very helpful and set up an appointment for a free estimate. Before the day of the estimate, I called Joe and told him that I did not really like any of the samples that I took home, but I did like a particular flooring that I had come across in my travels. It was not one that was in their showroom, but I asked him to look into getting that for me. He looked into it for me and told me that he would be able to get it for me. Joe was professional and punctual. The estimate was within the range of the other two estimates I had received. I would have chosen them to do the work if it were not for the fact that I need some finishing work done in addition to the flooring and another flooring company offered to do that work for me. I will definitely call them in the future for any flooring needs that I may have!

I used another provider here and was not happy. I called ProCore Flooring and from the start was amazing. Erik called me back within 5 min of me leaving a message. He even came out the same day for me. He was so polite and a true gentleman. He explained everything in detail and showed me things that the other companies never showed me. Erik quoted me the same evening and the price was in my budget. ( To do this Erik did the rip up for FREE ). Within 3 days the material was at my house. I have a very difficult job were I can not leave work so I asked Erik to do the evening when I got out of work ( other companies would not do ) and he had no issues. Erik said it would take 3 days and Erik and his crew did in 2. The result was perfect. Attention to detail is amazing and my friends and family are so impressed. I LOVE my new floors. Just the absolute best. I recommend ProCore to anyone. They are the absolute best there is and will be my go to company in the future. Save yourself the headaches. Thank you again Erik

This contractor was recommended by Directbuy where I bought the cabinets. He was great! Excellent communication, quality of work and follow-up. We decided at the last minute to install a nice hardwood laminate floor in the kitchen, Gary and his team installed that for us as well. He started and finished the job as planned, and was a real pleasure to work with. I highly recommend. True professional.

The wall came out great and were happy to now have an open living space. Were having Myron come back to level the kitchen floor and to install wood laminate flooring in the open living room / kitchen.

Started out fine. Several areas were incomplete or unfinished. An incredible mess was left with the job. Owner?s contactor came back several times. Most items fixed but a piece of quarter round continues to separate from molding. Had to have nail holes filled that weren?t filled at completion. Section of quarter round in living room that was installed in two pieces very noticeable. Solution was to smear some painter?s putty on it. Looks the same. Biggest issue was the mess. Owner reimbursed $150 for a cleaner but mess went much further as we discovered. Before the work began I suggested that the laminate be put over the kitchen tile. The owner insisted it would be no problem to remove the tile with little price difference and result in the flooring staying one level throughout, which we agreed on. Unfortunately his contractor neglected to put up a barrier or cover our HVAC vents while removing the kitchen tiles. This part of the work created a lot of very fine dust throughout the condo interior including inside every cabinet in the kitchen. We are now faced with fine dust constantly on our floor almost immediately after we clean it. We have changes our HVAC filter several times since, but doing that has not helped reduce the problem. This is not the dust that we all have normally in our homes. It is a fine dust that isn?t going away. We will likely have to have our vents professionally cleaned. That service is not cheap. I have never hired a service contractor that left the mess behind that this company did. The floor itself looks good. But we never would have used this company had we known the mess that would be made and left behind. Aside from the floor looking fine, the trim work was below average in our opinion.

Joe was very helpful and knowledgeable. He came to my home on the day and time he told me he would. He was very courteous. The installers came on the day and time I was given. I was very satisfied with the installation, with the exception of one very slight problem. When I informed them of the issue, it was quickly corrected. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
