Recent Review: We could not have asked for a better experience. The workers showed up on time. All areas around the house were cleaned after the shingle repairs, not a single nail or piece of shutter left on the ground. I called about one piece of gutter that still seemed clogged and they came right out and cleaned it again. The gutter is fine now. When my neighbor saw how well the work was done on our roof, he hired them to do his roof.
Called Gibson regarding a roof leak, Jose came out two days later and fixed it. Showed us a picture of where the damage was prior to patching it. Leak was fixed in an hour.

PAT INSPECTED OUR ROOF THE SAME DAY WE CALLED. HE WAS VERY INFORMATIVE AND GAVE SEVERAL OPTIONS. HE GAVE US AN ESTIMATE ON OUR BEST OPTION...TO PARTIALLY RECONSTRUCT THE ROOF TO ELIMINATE THE LEAK FOR GOOD. SINCE WE WILL RE-ROOF LATER, HE KINDLY TOLD US THAT A $10 BUCKET OF TAR WILL DO THE JOB FOR NOW.

AWest Coast Roofing
Our old roof of over 20 years sprung a leak. Tried slopping on some roof tar but it didn't work. So I covered the roof with a tarp for a temporary fix. Called a number of companies on Angie's list and of the few that responded West Coast Roofing could come the soonest. Geemees did an estimate. It seemed reasonable to me so we set up an appointment. On the day scheduled they couldn't come. I appreciate the fact that Geemees called that day to let me know and we rescheduled for the next day. The crew came on time the next day, stripped off the tar and old shingles, installed closely matching shingles and flashing over the troubled area. The workers were friendly and cleaned up the mess. Waited until it rained a few times to write this review to make sure the patch was successful and it's holding. West Coast Roofing will do large and small jobs. Some companies refuse to patch older roofs but that's no problem for West Coast Roofing.

AWest Coast Roofing
On the Saturday before the Christmas holiday with water streaming down my dining room light fixture, I was able to reach only one roofing serice and it was West Coast Roofing. Jimmy was at my house within 2 hours and determined what needed to be done. Although the repair could not be made until the following day, Jimmy stayed and helped us tarp the roof and even waited while we went to the store to get what we needed to protect it over night. He offerred to do this without us asking and would not take any money from us at this time, not even a tip. His crew arrived the next day-- on time-- and quickly found the leak and repaired it. They also spot checked the entire roof for any other problems and replaced shingles that concerned them. They were courteous, professional, very fairly priced and seemed truly happy to provide service at a time when most businesses are not working becasue of the holiday. The only thing I am unhappy about is how long it took me to write this review.

Very satisfactory experience. Spring a leak during heavy rainstorm on a Sunday afternoon - water dripping down from air return vent on landing. Left message with the emergency contact person. He called back within an hour, Hector arrived within another 1.5 hours. He had to crawl behind the AC unit in our attic to find the leak, but he found it, sealed it inside and then repaired the problem on the roof (in the dark, in the rain!). Prompt, courteous, effective service and cost less than I would expect for emergency visit on a weekend. Would definitely use them again.

FREAL ESTATE ROOFING SERVICE, INC.
Leaking roof. It took four visits before they found the leak. We were not charged due to having a 3 year roof certificate. Update, a year later: It turns out the leak wasn't fixed after all. It's back, in the same spot, with a vengeance. But I got such bad treatment last time, I don't even want them here for free. I got nothing but attitude from these guys. Mike blamed us for having the moss removed (It was Real Estate Roofing that did the moss removal), and he blamed us for purchasing a roof cert in prior to the close of escrow without warning them first that there was a leak. As if we could have had any way of knowing. I'm not trying to get free service here. Last year, I offered them full fee if they could just guarantee that the leak was fixed. My offer was refused, but they came out again, and said they fixed it. Now, I'm mad that they wasted my time, and I'm mad that my attic is getting moldy and my door frame and trim are ruined. I've got an idea that'll solve both our problems... don't sell roof certs if you're too incompetent to back them up. After four tries, thanks for nothing.

ATOM PHELPS - THE ROOF MAN
Mr. Phelps came here three times to repair leaks--he did a good job quickly and for a reasonable price. We will call on him this summer to re-coat the whole roof.

ARoof Life of Oregon
My last experience with this company was not a good one, but when I had a large leak during a minor rain I needed someone fast and decided to give them another chance based on their reputation. The first good news was that the smooth talking estimator/supervisor who blamed all the delays and quality problems of the previous job on other parts of the company had been let go. Rooflife responded quickly to my request for leak diagnosis and repair and worked diligently to locate a hard-to-find leak. Once found, the repair was quick and inexpensive. They went out of their way to resolve the remaining problems from the previous job overseen by the complacent supervisor. In short, Rooflife was quick, on time, and put a lot of effort into doing a quality job of diagnosing and fixing a small problem. It hasn't rained since but if there is any problem with the repair I have no doubt it will be addressed to my satisfaction. This is a good company.

AAll Surface Roofing & Construction
We had had All Surface out before to clean our roof and they did a good job. But we had a leak in the roof for a couple of years that was really only obvious when it rained hard or snowed. We have had people come out and look at the leak before. We were told it was probably just caused by a water dam when it snowed or maybe leaves in the gutter. The water spots on the ceiling upstairs had been really growing so I knew I had to get somebody to find out what was wrong. So I called All Surface and they sent Adam out who is very experience and knowledgeable about roofing. Adam came out and determined a more detailed inspection needed to be made by having some of the roofing removed to determine where the leak was. That would cost about $400, but it would be waived if they did the repairs. He also noticed that we did not have proper ventilation in the roof for the attic which makes it prone for growing mold. We had little round ventilation vents under the eaves but didn?t ventilate anything because the fascia board block air from entering the attic. And when the detailed inspection was done it was found shingles were not properly nailed to the roof and that a section of the roof was missing tar paper under the shingles. We agreed to repair roof and to fix the ventilation as suggested by Adam. It took a few weeks for them scheduled the work to be done once we had given them the go ahead. Two workers were sent out to install above the above fascia board ventilation strips, ventilation caps and repair the roof. The workers showed up went right to work and spent four days doing the repairs. Whenever they needed to enter the house to climb into the attic they would remove their shoes or put covers on them. I never even saw them take a break except for lunch. Didn?t even ask to use the bathroom. When they finished they cleaned up everything. Even borrowed a vacuum to sweep up some of the installation that came from attic trap door from when they had to climb up there. They also told me they had found and replaced an exhaust vent that had a crack in it that was causing a leak. Overall great job and I would recommend All Surface.

ATOM PHELPS - THE ROOF MAN
We contacted Tom Phelps and made arrangements for him to stop in and give us an estimate on a leak/leaks in our 2 year old roof. It seemed as though the leak was in a valley that did not look installed right ( the water was making marks on our ceiling inside the dining room). The roof was installed just before we purchased the home. He came by as promised (even though it was apparant he was having a busy week). He gave us an estimate of 200-300 dollars. He checked and repaired all the areas on the roof he thought were suspect. We waited for a couple of weeks to get a good rain and wind event before we could see if the repairs worked. So good-so far! With the experience we had with him we would definately hire him in the future for new vents we will need installed for a bathroom remodel.
