Recent Review: I was searching craigslist for something and just happened across Berger Construction's ad for custom built garden sheds. I needed a new shed and was considering just getting a tuff shed or a DIY kit that you build yourself. The examples and pricing listed seemed pretty reasonable so I thought I would check it out before purchasing something else. I am so glad I did. I emailed Randy requesting more information and a bid for a shed comparable to the kit we were considering purchasing. Randy emailed me back within about a day or two with a bid and more information about his construction practices and the pros of having a custom built shed rather than a kit. I decided to have Randy come out and take a look at our site and talk about options for the shed. He came out that Saturday and talked to us about options and I also had him bid on repairing our deck that needs a new staircase and some dry-rot repair. We haven't had the deck work done yet, so this review only relates to the shed. Randy's prices on the sheds were way cheaper than a tuff-shed, with better features, and only slightly more expensive than a DIY kit that would've required much work and frustration for my husband. He was able to schedule us for the following week. He and one guy put the shed up in one day. They worked fast and didn't stop until it was all done. I'm very pleased with how the shed turned out and the quality and value we received! If you need a shed, I highly recommend getting one from Berger Construction!

Business Description: I've been a self employed house painter since 1986. I don't employ anyone else; I'm too picky. My Washington license # is MARTIPL844NZ. (I don’t work in OR any longer.) I seldom need more than 5-7 work days to paint an entire house once its pressure washed and dry. I check-mark up to 18 of the most common items on your house and provide an exact itemized price. Being way out in the country, I am about a 2 hour round trip from most of the houses I paint. So I like to provide estimates based on picture/s and square footage found on www.zillow.com or www.redfin.com and also www.google.com etc that can be followed up with with an appointment for an exact price, or we can just go with my "estimate" price! It will be the normal base price for houses built after 1978 (Not licensed for lead.) Having looked at houses for 30+ years, it's easy for me. My pricing is online at www.martinpainting.net. The following items are the primary ones that would add to the base price: Three story houses, mountain goat slopes, eaves wider than a foot, decks, fences, all wood windows, sheds, shutters, foundations, detached garages and large porches and particularly railings (most of which can be pretty easily figured with a picture or a measurement). In 2016, every house I did was the exact base price I gave sight unseen. The price is for two coats of the highly rated Behr Ultra paint from Home Depot on the body (siding) of the house and pressure washing in advance. See my online contract: www.martinpainting.net/exterior_contract.pdf that itemizes all of the details of what gets painted and how. All I need to get started is your address. That couple hours not spent bidding saves me enough time that if I don’t add on for some odd detail, some minor issue not on this list that I would see in person, I still come out ahead (and so do you). I have won 17 Super Service Awards (starting in Ohio where Angie did) . Up until 2016 my son helped me. Without him I didn’t get enough reports.

Recent Review: They showed up on the day and time they said they would, got to work right away and were done around 5 hours later. Where a bare piece of gound was, appeared a beautiful shed the shape of a barn and ready for us to move our garden tools in. They cleaned up after themselves and the owners son even came out to help the two men so they could get the job done sooner. Very nice business to work with. Paid half down when we ordered the shed and the rest when the shed was built. We need to paint the shed within 90 day to keep the warranty. Their web site is very easy to use to build the shed of your dreams and if I had any questions they were very happy to answer any of them over the phone.

ADAVE'S INTEGRITY HOME & GARDEN
Dave was prompt in responding to the request for this service.  Within a week the old shed was removed and arrangements agreed upon for picking up the new shed from the provider.  The new shed was meticulously constructed and looks looks great.  All work and site cleanup  was performed professionally and with attention to detail.  We are very pleased!!!

ATUFF SHED
WE WERE VERY PLEASED WITH THIS EXPERIENCE. THE INSTALLERS ARRIVED ON TIME AND WERE QUICK AND KNOWLEDGEABLE. THEY CONSTRUCTED THE SHED TO OUR SPECIFICATIONS. WHEN THEY WERE FINISHED, THEY CLEANED EVERYTHING UP WITH NOTHING FOR ME TO DO, BUT ENJOY MY NEW SHED!

DTUFF SHED INC - Portland
We were unhappy with the work but it stemmed from the salesperson, Mick. First, he designed the shed incorrectly and had the entry facing a retaining wall that would have made it inaccessible. The builders were able to correct the mistake but it took extra time and they had to have extra help. Secondly, we were not happy with the paint color. Mick knew that we were trying to match the color of our house and only gave us a brochure of colors to choose from. Tiles are available that show exactly how the color will dry, but he never offered those to us and we only found out about them after the fact. When we expressed that we were unhappy with the color, they did nothing to try and satisfy us. NOTHING. When I told them we had a salesperson with a brochure showing colors that they knew were going to be different from the finished result, we were told that was our problem. WE WILL NEVER WORK WITH THEM AGAIN.

ATim Austin, LLC
Tim came over and discussed what I was looking for and was prompt about giving me an estimate. He was very responsive to my questions and adding/changing details of quote to ensure the shed was the way I wanted it. Tim and two other guys completed the complete shed from pouring concrete, building, installing doors and two windows, painting and installing gutters in 4 days. Amazing! I love love love my new shed. Tim suggested using batt & board on top of the Hardi Plank siding for a nicer look. I love the look. He also matched the paint to my house including the trim. Tim went above and beyond my expectations. He's good at what he does, takes pride in his work and has great attention to detail. I will definitely use TIm again. Great work guys!

Steve made sure he got my input so that the shed would be exactly what I wanted, including location and position that would best suit my needs and wants. Not only did I ask for more storage room, but a place where I could sit in comfort on a rainy day and look out at the garden.    He tore down the old "falling-down" metal shed, inspected and improved upon the area where the new shed would sit, and did a thorough clean-up.    He built a wooden shed  (8X10) and included a screened window that opens (with a nice view of the garden) , and a substantial door (the kind used for entries to houses).  The shed is slightly elevated for air circulation underneath, and situated for good drainage around it.  He built a ramp to facilitate getting heavy items, such as lawn mower, in and out of the shed.    As I wished, he made the structure high enough to allow for loft-like storage over head.  With the addition of a portable "table top" in front of the window, shelving and wall hardware to hang items, the shed will hold a lot of "stuff" and is much easier to manage than the old dark and cramped metal shed.   Because the project was completed in December, the exterior was not painted at that time, but scheduled for this summer.  I'm sure Steve's usual excellent painting skills will add visually, and make this look more like a cottage than a shed!  I am delighted with his work and the (almost) finished project!    Steve also does an excellent job on cleanup.  That area of the yard was left much cleaner than when he started!    I have since hired this company to do more projects, and will definitely hire them again.

ABerger Construction LLC
Upon deciding to have a shed put in my backyard for storage I did my homework searching and comparing my available options. I normally do not buy on price alone rather value, and quot;apples to applesand quot; if you will. I was and continue to be exponentially impressed with the overall quality and value found in the structure Berger Construction built for me. Quite simply, I feel that I received a far better product while paying less than I would have anywhere else. Randy was prompt in response and handled the entire project like a pro! He says what he will do and then does what he said. I'm quick to tell neighbors, friends and family exactly who built my new shed and describe my expectations as being exceeded. I'm confidant if only a fraction of consumers in the market to have a shed or out-building constructed knew what I did about Randy and Berger Construction the decision would be an easy one and Berger Construction would have more work than they knew what to do with. Thank you Randy and Berger Construction for a superior product, value and service!

AOn-Site Assembly Pros
Ted assembled our new BIG Costco metal gazebo... BY HIMSELF! It was amazing watching him work. He is so professional and organized! He clearly has a lot of experience and it shows - he lays everything out, double and triple checks things, brings all the equipment and tools he'll need and he doesn't mess around. The online reviews for our gazebo had one constant complaint - how difficult it was to assemble. We would have never guessed watching him! We are so pleased with his work. In fact, after watching him work and with how reasonable his prices are, my husband decided to hire Ted back to build sheds that he was going to do himself.

AAll About Remodeling LLC
I selected All About Remodeling (Russ) because he was timely in responding to my inquiry. After discussing the initial job of building a new shed I received a detailed estimate. Once a date to start the project was set Russ arrived on the start date and began the build. Prior to starting I had advised Russ I had a few other projects I wanted done. He agreed to them and also provided estimates for them as well. Russ began working on the shed just as we were hit with a week's plus heatwave. Never faltering, Russ arrived each day and worked through the heat. Russ' attention to detail (measure and quot;3and quot; times and cut once) shows his pride in doing the job right the first time. He cleaned up each day after his work. I would recommend All About Remodeling to anyone needing a shed, a deck, or most any work around your house.
