Recent Review: Everyone was very easy to work with.  I got an initial estimate based on my own rough measurements.  Then when I decided to have Truax do the installation they came out and got exact measurements.  At the time of installation a few weeks later two of the storm windows were not the correct size, so they re-made them and had them installed within a few weeks at no extra cost.  My house was quieter and warmer right away and my windows no longer rattle during heavy winds.  I am really happy with the performance of the windows and have found the screens easy to adjust.  I choose the bronze colored aluminum and they match the dark brown trim on my house very well.

Recent Review: Estimated cost was out of our budget for a storm door. However we very impressed with Mike Flood the estimator who answered all of our questions and provided a quote on the spot.

Recent Review: It was a little strange. He gave us the quote over email without seeing the storm door, and possibly he was envisioning something other than what he found when he got here. (He didn't ask questions over email.) He sighed heavily a few times as he started, and it seemed like he really didn't want to do the job, muttering complaints under his breath. He determined he needed to rebuild a bit of the doorway, which was fine; he left to get the right supplies and he came back with a helper. Also fine, except the whole time it seemed like he was unhappy. That's why the professionalism seemed lacking. In the end, we now have a storm door, so it's an okay result. It's not perfectly set, but it's okay. He said to call if we had any questions but after all that sighing we don't want to call him about, well, anything. It ended up being more than the quote ($300 vs $430) due to the extra thing he had to do. All in all a B- experience. Not terrible. Maybe hire him for something other than a storm door.

Edward installed the door in a timely manner and charged the same amount home depot was asking for an installation. The door works well.

THE TWO INSTALLERS WERE ON TIME. THEY WERE VERY POLITE AND FRIENDLY. THE OLD STORM DOOR WAS REMOVED AND THE NEW STORM DOOR INSTALLED WITHIN 90 MINUTES. THE DOOR WAS ORDERED AND WE WERE TOLD IT WOULD TAKE 3 TO 4 WEEKS, HOWEVER, WE DID HAVE TO CALL THEM AFTER THE TIME PERIOD TO CHECK IF IT HAD ARRIVED (IT HAD). IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF THEY HAD REMOVED THE UPPER AND LOWER GLASS IN THE DOOR AND CLEANED THEM.

Ron responded quickly to my initial inquiry.  He provided us with an accurate estimate, recommended the perfect door, and installed it expertly.  We will definitely call him next time we need any kind of construction service.

Not very well actually.  The door has a built in screen that rolls down when the glass is lowered  They put the door in upside down and drilled through the screen.  they went  to Home Depot and purchased a new one which they installed correctly except for the door handle which is backwards...you need a key to lock it from the inside and can unlock it from outside!  That is ok since I would probably never lock it anyway and I didn't want them to buy a new door to fry again.

We selected the storm doors we wanted and Phil Brown managed the measurements, pick-up, delivery and installation. He selected the exterior door for our garage and measured and installed that door. The work was completed in a timely and professional manner.

I first hired him to install storm doors on front and back. I wanted a whole new main door with frame and all on back door and the storm door. He did a fast and excellent job and had a fair price. Then I had him do the painting of the hobby shed, carport, trim around the house, the front and back porches. Everything turned out great and the job was finished quickly and looks great. He brushed painted too. I will hire him for other jobs too.

Went fine. He had to take down a little roof over the front door that was too low to allow the door to open, but my husband was able to put it back up good as new. It is really nice to have these up before the Winter.

AKRAFT MOBILE SCREEN SVC
From start to finish, the process of having a new storm door installed went smoothly and in a timely fashion. Danny, who came to measure the door, arrived exactly on time and was very efficient. The wait time for the Andersen door to be ordered and received was reasonable, as was the scheduling of the installer. Martin showed up at the beginning of the window of time, which I appreciated so much. He removed the old door and installed the new storm door in less than 45 minutes. Lowe's completely botched the entire process 2 1/2 years ago. I ended up cancelling the order after8 weeks of waiting when the wrong storm door was delivered and I was told that I would need to wait another 8 weeks for installation! This time I decided to go directly to Kraft Screen & Door. They now work with Home Depot and no longer for Lowe's. However, I decided to eliminate the middle man and hire Kraft myself. I am so happy that I did, and you will be too for any of your screen or door needs.
