Steve A. came to see why my sump pump wasn't working. He diagnosed and explained everything to me patiently. He also gave me a guess as to the cost before doing work. The bill reflected that he had guessed accurately. He also cleaned the area where he worked. Everyone was friendly and accurate. The job was done well and quickly. I would use them again. Also, I got $25 off of my order because I am a member of Angie's List - love that!

We were very pleased with the company rep who came to our home and he didn't lie to us and the cost that was presented to us to have our basement waterproofed, old sump pump replaced and additional one added was the best price. The guys showed up on time and did a great job and even got the job done early. We recommend them highly.

The crew (Drew, Gavin and David) was exceptional- courteous, meticulous and dedicated to the job. They worked over a holiday weekend to complete our project, given unexpected challenges that delayed completion. They took the time to explain each step of the process in an honest, straightforward way. Couldn't have asked for a better experience!

I had sump pumps put into my basement. They ran an extention cord diagonally across my tandam garage, plugged into a two pronged plug with an adapter, next to a faucet.  They ruined one of my exterior walls.  They said they were going to put an electrical outlet in my garage that had a GFI.  When the person first came he gave me a bid and told he me that he could put in the electrical outlet.  I told him the bid was too high.  Immediately he came down $1500.  Then once on the job they said they never do that.  They said they would put the wood back, my basement is finished with pine.  They hammered a board back in, no stain, no finish.  When I turned my washer on after they left and  it made water squirt 3 feet high out of a pipe in my bathroom.  I had also given them a toilet and when they took it they didn't cap it.  They left cement dust everywhere and said they would clean it up. They were trying to set a drain into a hill that was not up to code.  In order to set the drain, it had to go out to the street.  They put a hole in my garage wall, this hole was leaking water, they had inproperly sealed it.  I had to educate them on regulations.  By this time they are telling me I am just giving them grief.  They also put in one of the pipes I own that I use to drain a particular area in the winter. My pvc pipe, they didn't even bring their own.  They didn't connect my washer and dryer, and they had many problems even with this, I had to do laundry outside of the house for days.  This was a mess.  The owner said he would make it right.  They reinbursed me for an electrician who I had install my GFI outlet.  They did compensate me for everything but what I had to go through, I would not wish it on any other member.

ACONCANNON PLUMBING
Whenever a sump pump stops working, there's a chance for things to go bad quickly. Late on a Thursday evening, I noticed that my sump pump in my semi-finished basement went had stopped working and that the pit was overflowing onto my basement floor. I spent Friday morning calling a number of plumbers and, sometime in the mid-afternoon, I stumbled upon Concannon Plumbing. Joe picked up (no answering service) and told me that he might be able to come out on Saturday or Sunday. He was sympathetic to my issue and said he could come out over the weekend. After exchanging some texts and pictures, he talked me through picking up a new sump pump and check valve at Lowes. Joe ended up coming out on a Monday morning and fixed the issue very quickly. Having done some research into the costs of replacing a sump pump, I was ready to pay upwards $500-1000. Joe charged me $120 for something I'm SURE would have cost much more with a larger company. He had no problem using the materials I'd picked out which isn't usually the case. Joe is a personable and extremely reasonable gentleman who I intend to use for all plumbing needs going forward.

I contracted with Keystone several years ago to waterproof my old basement. Aaron and his crew were absolutely topnotch! My home is 100+ years with a sandstone foundation. At the time, I had owned my home for well over 20 years and the small streams of water from the walls to the floor multiplied over time with each rainfall. I finally decided to bite the bullet and secure estimates for waterproofing. Aaron provided me with the best quote and my decision to move forward with the work has proven to be a blessing. I have had a dry basement for the past five years and was even able to place a large area rug on the floor. Although the floor is very uneven and the basement will never be livable space, I can enjoy the dry floor and white walls and not have to worry about moisture. During the work, the crew went above and beyond by removing an old sink and toilet, and laying concrete in an old storage closet that had a dirt floor. The sump pump did go off last year during an exceptionally heavy rainfall and I didn't know how to turn off the alarm. I called Keystone and a gentleman called me back right away to provide easy instructions. I'm now looking forward to hearing from my friends at Keystone, since the work comes with follow-up visits every five-years to flush out the system. All in all, I would not hesitate to recommend Keystone to anyone in need of waterproofing.

AG & J Waterproofing
G&J waterproofing was one of the best contractors and experience I had so far. Not only was Harry professional and provided a quotes within the same week that I called, but they also finish the work early despite running into a problem( no fault of their). Harry was honest and fair and handle it so that my job can be completed and to code. Now, my basement smell different(better) and in the future I can begin to finish it( which G&J waterproofing does as well). I would highly recommended using them. Their prices are fair, they are prompt, and your end up with a dry basement with a working sump pump( I know I did). So, call G&J waterproofing for your next projects. What else would you have to loose beside water in your basement.

Recent Review: Initial estimate was $100 if I had the pump. The problem was there was a couple of parts missing. I am not complaining about that though because I understand it. Very good, knowledgeable, and he got right to it. He was clear with what he needed from me.

Recent Review: If you want to bring a company into your home that is HONEST and that cares about the work that they do for their customers, then this is the company you want to call. Our basement always had some water issues. We have used other companies in the past that did not correct the issue. Frankly, we were not sure how to correct the problem and we always felt that we were being sold a product that we might or might not need OR that might or might not correct the problem. When Dr. Dry came out to our house, they suggested a course of action and explained WHY their suggested course would work. We decided to go with them, after interviewing others, and for the first time in 20 years, we have absolutely NO WATER in our basement. None! (this is not n exaggeration) When they did the basement, there was a paint issue with the resin paint adhering to the wall, but they came out and the issue was resolved. We did not need to hound them - they just think a job should be finished 'the right way'. Months later, we contracted with them to do the same for our basement garage (same issues). I highly recommend the Dr. Dry company without reservation.
