Had a great conversation about cost and scope of the work. I cannot afford this service at this time, but know exactly what is needed and how to plan.

I have never worked with such a professional crew. They were six panels. They are very amazing, helpful, clean, and non of them even smoked. They were very punctual. It is the best investment I have got.

It was a major job and it went really well. They were quick and efficient but there were some scheduling issues.

The work mostly went smoothly. The solar panels are fantastic and I'd recommend them to anyone who has an unshaded, south-facing unshaded roof. However, there were two issues. 1. A worker tossed a cigarette butt off the roof. It landed on the neighbor's patio furniture, burning it. Scalo paid for a replacement, but they shouldn't have been smoking on our property in the first place without asking, and they certainly shouldn't have been careless with disposal of their waste. 2. Part of the job involved repainting a small, metal portion of the roof. The first time they did the job, the new paint peeled immediately. They came back at our request, scraped off the old paint, and repainted it. This looked okay for about 2.5 years, after which point it started peeling again. 3. Also after about 2.5 years, a shingle fell off. I called and asked for them to replace the shingle and repaint the metal roof under the warranty. They agreed. Unfortunately, they did a poor job; they didn't remove the old paint, so the roof looks very bumpy. Worse, they sent me a bill for the painting! They claim it was not covered under the warranty. Reading the warranty, I can see how this is a reasonable interpretation of the text, but they should have told me it would not be covered and given me an estimate before proceeding. Because the conversation was about a warranty repair, I expected it to be covered under the warranty.

We contacted EIS to discuss putting solar panels and a battery back-up system into our house. We got a prompt response to our inquiry and were extremely impressed with Joe's knowledge and professionalism. He carefully explained our options and the cost implications of each decision. He proved himself to be creative and very smart about the system that he designed for us. Joe took the time to fully dicuss with us the process, the various system options and even the tax credits and rebates that were available. His workmen were wonderful. The best crew I have ever had at my home. Friendly, hard working, polite, clean, including cleaning up after themselves each day. They arrived on time (early actually) and worked late so that the work got done more quickly than expected. The EIS staff handled all the paperwork, including applying for the state credits. This was one of the easiest projects that I've ever been involved with! The overall communication from everyone at EIS has been truly remarkable. From the beginning to the end, every call, email, or other inquiry has been answered promptly and fully. I would highly recommend EIS for any service!!

From start to finish.... it was a well presented, executed, and "total" service. The system is up and running, the meter has been changed, and all registrations, to include an aggregater, are completed. I've never experiences something so complicated being made so EASY. In addition, the company only uses American made products - I like that. As the price of solar panels decreases, this is a home improvement project for many home owners; and with a company like EiS..... it's a walk in the park. We've done A LOT of home remodeling on this home......... this company is unmatched on nearly every level of comparison. Our only regret is not having the time to submit this review sooner. We give them a HUGE thumbs up!

Recent Review: I had my panels installed in November of 2019. There were many discrepancies between what the sales associated had promised me and what I actually received. First I ordered enough panels to supposedly cover 60% of my electric consumption. However, my monthly power bill wasn't even reduced a third. Second, I was promised an app so detailed it would even break things down to what each panel was producing so I would know if there was an issues with any of them. What I actually received was a very basic app that only tells me what my whole system produces each month with no further break down. I never received the money promised for making referrals either. You do not get what you're promised by this company. Do not trust the sales team! or customer service for that matter in correcting it or working with you to resolve things.

Recent Review: The company showed up in a punctual and professional manner.? They started in to work and were mindful of the surroundings and respectful of the neighbors. They introduced themselves and their team let me know whop was working on what aspect and allowed me to ask all sorts of "what are you doing.." questions. Darren checked up on the work early on and then continued to check up on the status via phone calls with me.? Also Luis Bonilla also stopped in and walk through the project with me.? He took the time to explain all the aspects that we has discussed in the planning phase so that I understood what he meant or what he said with real examples.? I not only felt as though i was getting solar panel but also being educated as to what exactly the panels were doing. Great job selling, educating and following up with the customers.
