Recent Review: AS ALWAYS WHEN DEALING WITH CHESWICK (THEY HAVE OPENED AND CLOSER OUR POOL FOR YEARS,) THEY WERE PROMPT, POLITE AND DID PROFESSIONAL WORK. WHILE THERE ARE LESS EXPENSIVE SOURCES FOR POOL SERVICING AND EQUIPMENT, THEIR EXCELLENT CUSTOMER SERVICE AND QUICK RESPONSE TIME MORE THAN MAKES UP FOR THE PRICE DIFFERENCE.

Recent Review: King Cole does not repair Pentair products. The Pool and Spa in Bethel park is the local company responsible for Pentair repairs. At first Pool and Spa said they wouldn't repair it because they didn't install our pool. Then they said that they couldn't come out and look at it until mid-August! So, King Cole Pools replaced the pump for free!

Recent Review: As always they did an AWESOME JOB..  There is no other Pool Vendor that I trust and that is as reliable as Sherwood with lower costs compared to other pool vendors.  I know first hand how easily other Pool Vendors can increase costs on services not needed or done incompletely and cheaply.  YOU WILL NOT EXPERIENCE THIS FROM SHERWOOD.  I trust them 200% and refer their services to others in my community and friends.  You will not be disappointed.  I can always reach Sherwood when I have questions or concerns.  They respond very QUICKLY.  I was having a Pool Party on Memorial Day and the pool heater was just repaired a few days before and the owner stopped over on Memorial Day to make sure it was working so my guests could enjoy warm water for our Memorial Day celebration.   You will not get that personal attention from other pool vendors.  I am a customer for life!!!!

Recent Review: With several pool companies in the Greensburg area that could care less about your business, ie. quoting 2-3 weeks to come for a service call, not showing up on scheduled day/time, and general poor customer service, I was not expecting any different from Village Pools in Murrysville. I had called on a Monday evening with a loss of pressure in my pool pump. The woman I spoke to told me they could be there by the end of the week. I took this appointment hoping they would actually show up. I was shocked the next morning when the men showed up at 9am. They were very knowledgable, courteous and showed me not only the problem but also how to fix it. When I tried to pay them, they told me the office would bill me.  A couple of weeks later, I had water pouring out from the bottom of my heater. I called again, since they were so prompt the previous time and again the men showed up the next morning.  Turns out I needed a new heater. The old one could have been fixed but they were very honest in that something else could break the next day. The part needing fixed was over $1000 and it was not worth it just to fix that. I gave the go ahead on a Tuesday. They told me it would be done sometime between the end of the week and beginning of the next. Again, I was shocked that the next day they were here and installed it. Anyone that has an inground pool knows that anything wrong with the pump or the heater and your pool sits. Can't add chemicals, clean or anything.  I am very impressed with this company and would highly reccommend anyone in the Greensburg area to call them and take advantage of the ONLY pool company in this area that actually cares about their customers.

Recent Review: Overall, this was a very good experience. Written proposals were received from three handyman service providers found on Angies List. R.M. Construction (Rance McKeithen) was chosen based on reputation, knowledge, presentation and price. References were called. Official contractor registration was obtained from the Pennsylvania Office of Attorney General's Bureau of Consumer Protection. A contract was executed detailing the work to be performed, start and end dates, and payment schedule. It was followed. As agreed, I bought all materials direct from the supplier (Home Depot) and contracted for a dumpster (Allied Waste Services). Half the labor cost was paid at the agreed 50% completion point and the remaining 50% on satisfactory completion of the work. I felt safe with this arrangement. It was proposed by the contractor. I am very happy with this work. The repaired shed looks like new. The new pool equipment shed, designed by Mr. McKeithen, looks good and is much easier to use than it's predecessor. Mr. McKeithen was very reliable and kept me well informed of his progress and schedule. No change orders were needed.

Owner Phil replaced our pool heater a few years ago – he came just days after we called, and on Memorial Day weekend, if I remember. He was thorough, knew what he was doing, and charged us reasonably. I’d give him an A. Fast forward to a few weeks ago, broken pool pump. On T, I called, left message. On W, I called, talked to him (so I had a good number) about repairing our pump. He does not do that, fair enough. After some thought, we decided to get a new pump. On Th, I called, left message that we wanted a new pump. On Sunday, I emailed an address from his (defunct?) website. On M I called two phone numbers and left messages, and emailed via BBB. We live just 15 min. from him and did not have an urgent need so I’d think he’d like our business. But he did not get back to us. I understand personal emergencies, too much business, vacations, old email addresses, lost phones, but he has not gotten back to us in 3 weeks. I hope he is OK but I’d give him an F this time. I averaged my experiences and gave him a C. A good guy if you can contact him.
