Reviews in Oklahoma City to Pump Installers

AStan's Plumbing Inc
The company responded quickly. The plumber was a few minutes late, but called to say he was on his way. He worked quickly and did a good job. Most of the expense was for the replacement pump. The parts cost was in line with my prior price-checks, and the parts were high quality.

Mr. Carroll was here when he said he would be. He had the well drilled and then completed the connections and remaining installation himself.

On Fri. Morning we had no water and called Stella Pump. Stella Pump was extremely professional and helpful, even came out on Saturday to get us water. When called they first said check the Capacitor as that is most often the trouble and are inexpensive. We purchased a new capacitor and installed it but it did not fix the problem. We then called and made the appointment. When the pump was pulled a broken wire was found to be the problem and were told the pump was still working but was 13 years old. The service charge for pulling eh 240 foot deep pump, repairing the wire and reinstalling the pump would be 200 dollars which we felt was really reasonable. We made the decision to install a new pump for the original bid of 800 dollars rather than take a chance on an old pump and complete redo. It was very nice to do business with a company that would suggest a fix for free rather than making a service call to do the same thing.

Pulling the old pvc and bad pump out of the well house was NOT easy. Because there is a good roof on the well house, Chris and Roland had to pull up and cut off about 8 ft of the old pipe at a time to get the old pump out. It was very cold that day, but they kept working. They finally got the old pipe and pump out and proceeded to install the new pipe and pump. They were very professional and knew what they were doing. Also, they did the job very quickly despite the cold. I would definitely use them again.

x(They were absolutely GREAT. We had an electric line run underground and when it was reconnected our pump didn't work. Our electrician said it was an issue with the pump, possible relay. One of my other contractors (Davis Cement) recommended Stella, saying they were good people and did great work. When I called Stella Pump we had an appointment for the net day and they were there a little early, check it out, pulled the pump. They did have to come out the next day to replace the actual pump and had it up and running. Could not ask for better people, better completion of their work (even with me asking questions cause I have never had a well before) and better pricing. Great job.

Excellent, honest work! At 6:30 in the morning on a weekday, we thought our well water pump had stopped working because we lost all water while getting ready for school and work. We called Waddell Pump as soon as they opened. He's a one man show, but he promised to come out that same day and he was there by 1:00pm. He tested everything, said we didn't need a water pump but that our line was frozen in one small place near the gauges. He thawed it out, replaced a pressure gauge, double checked everything, and drew us a schematic (we didn't have one from prior owners). It was just Mr Waddell, but he's efficient, very patient, kind and honest. He could have said we needed a new pump and we wouldn't have blinked an eye - all the testing we did before he got there sure led us to believe it was bad and the current pump is 12 years old. We have found our new well and pump service!

Recent Review: I had been noticing low water pressure for a while. Checked the pressure gauge and noticed the water pressure was at 20 lb. It should be between 40-60 lb. I shut off the water and replaced the gauge and pressure switch. This made no difference. Also noticed that the pump never shut off. Called Waterloo on Sunday and described my symptoms. He suggested that I had a leak between the pump and the house. He said he could come out that day and would charge me time and a half, or I could wait until Monday and pay the regular rate. Obviously I chose Monday. The well guy showed up on time, he and I discussed the situation, I told him everything I had noticed and done. He asked me to shut off the well's power, helped me move my wind mill and moved his truck into position and quickly started to pull the pump up. After about 60 feet of pipe he found the cracked pipe. Once he got the pump completely out of the well, checked the date on it and we discussed replacing it. It had been in place for 31 years, I decided to replace it while we had it up. He measured the water and well depth. He had a pump on the truck and expertly wired and assembled it and new pipe back into the well. He then verified the water pressure and adjusted the pressure switch, checked the air pressure in the tank. The whole process took about 2 hours, he was friendly and professional. He collected and disposed of all packing materials and used gear. All in all it was a good experience. I will recommend these guys to anyone who needs this kind of work.
