Recent Review: I am very please with the work. I have other flooring projects on the horizon and I will use HFG when I do those projects. The crew was very professional, kept me informed on items that came up during the work and the work they did was excellent. They worked well under pressure as the job finished the day before Thanksgiving. The extra effort was noted and appreciated.
Recent Review: They did a good job. I don't remember how much we spent on the job. They were very good. We didn't have any problems with them. The quality of work was good. They are out here in our neighborhood. We would use them again in the future.

Recent Review: The best thing I would say about this company is that with it being such a large job, they worked with me in finding the times to do the actual installation. It took about a 3 week period to get all the floors done and that was fine by me. The flooring and carpets were all correctly laid and haven't come up anywhere to this point.
Recent Review: The contractor worked nights and weekends to finish the job when promised. The stairway work was very much a custom job and the contractor spent a lot of time making sure it came out right. We were very pleased with the result. The reason I rated the professionalism a "B" was because the contractor borrowed several of my tools to do the job (nail gun, shop vac, extension cords, Dewalt battery, stud finder, etc.).
They were really good. The price was good, which is why we went with them. I recommend them to friends and family. The workers did a wonderful job and cleaned up after themselves.

CAll Nations Floors Design Center
The initial installation went pretty well, but the electrician left before the thermostat check was done. I had to work with the manufacturer to get a red alert to go off. The thermostat was in idle over the summer but when I activated in the fall of 2013, I got another alert. I called the manufacturer, but couldn't get it to work. I called All Nations and told them it might defective. It took constant calling before a new electrician came out. He determined a replacement thermostat was needed. I was repeatedly told by All Nations that it was on order, but was subsequently told in late December that the order slipped through the cracks. I waited another month (with constant calling) before the electrician came back with the thermostat; however, he did a good job, and it worked over rest of the winter. In the meantime the transition was coming up. I went through the same long process. In June 2014, I was astonished to get a bill for $700 from the electrician, with a threat of a subcontractor's lien on my property. I called him, and he apologized but said that he hadn't been paid by All Nations for the work done in January. I called All Nations and they said there was a dispute over the fee but it had been taken care of and payment was being sent. I called the electrician a month later to make sure he was dropping the lien threat, but he said that he still hadn't been paid. I called All Nations and apparently the dispute was still ongoing. I finally gave up and hoped for the best. (I don't think the electrician followed through on the lien.) In March 2015, my year old thermostat went out again. I'm going to bypass All Nations and try to get it fixed myself. In the meantime, some of the floor has "unclicked" and some transition is coming up.

This is the SECOND time I have used Anderson Flooring for two different homes. Ryan is professional and responsive. His crew is very professional. I am most impressed by the "little things" that require expert craftsmanship. The quarter round is stained to match the floor and the angles are cut exactly. On both homes, the raised entry had to be "framed" at the step edge. Both homes were beautifully done. When I walk into each home, I admire the workmanship all over again. All the basics: punctuality, consideration of furniture, clean up, politeness of the crew were exceptional. I will definitely use Anderson Flooring again.

Ryan Anderson is very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional and I enjoyed working with him on my flooring project. His installation team was also very friendly, punctual, and responsive to correcting problems to my satisfaction. The carpet installation was the best experience of the three flooring types. The crew was in and out in about a couple hours and the floor looked great. The laminate floor installation went pretty well. I had a couple of small issues that had to be corrected but they were fixed in a timely fashion. We attempted to install the tile floors in my bathrooms and the laminate floors in the hall and family room at the same time which created some issues with protecting the floors while the tile work was done. The tile floor in one of my bathrooms was the main problem area on this project. My estimated one week project turned into a one month project due to issues with this tile floor in my bathroom. The tiles were grossly missaligned and I had to get the tile guy to retile that room twice to make it acceptable. Tile work is messy and these guys did not put much effort into protecting flooring that was being kept or into cleaning up thin set that had splattered on the walls. To their credit, they were more than willing to redo thier work and they did stick with the job in a punctual manor until it was completed to my satisfaction. The owner said that my experience on this project was an anomaly for this tile crew. But based on this one experience I could not recommend the tile work to a friend. I have done tile work myself and had it done by others that went much more smoothly. So overall it was a good experience and perhaps I was just unlucky with the tile work.

BROMANOFF FLOOR COVERING
Had both carpet and laminate installed by Romanoff. Carpet installers were very friendly and fast-crew of 3-4 men for a 10x14 area. Price for carpet was approx $396 for this room. Carpet crew did great job and cleaned up afterward. Laminate installer showed up somewhat unprepared to do the job and was only one person crew. After arriving he had to go to Home Depot to get floor leveler and a toilet wax seal and what should have been an hour for the trip ended up being almost 2 hrs. He did good job with the work and stayed until 1030pm to complete the job in one day, but because he was pushing to do all work in one day the clean up left a lot to be desired. The laminate was installed in our kitchen, laundry room, and a small half bath-seemed overpriced for the laminate worknconsidering it was a one man show.

I had a very poor experience with this company. The company was unorganized and they had very poor communication. The project started June 25, 2012 with the agreement for completion by June 27, 2012. It is now September 14, 2012 and the work has yet to be fully completed. There were obvious concerns with the knowledgebase and abilities of the service men to complete the work. For example, I initially needed to tell the serviceman that a moisture barrier must be installed between the floor and concrete. This was because the serviceman thought the moisture barrier was attached to the flooring but it was not. Some of the service man did not have the proper tools to complete their work. I ended up lending some of mine to them to complete the work. Furthermore they did not return all of these tools. There came a point when one of the subcontractors informed me that he had fired the gentleman that had been installing the floor. However, later that same day this ?fired? worker returned and resumed working on the project. During the course of this project, my wallet disappeared. I filed a police report naming some of these servicemen. I was charged $300 to have a half wall removed. The company removed the wall but did not complete the job as I was lead to believe they would. This left exposes electrical wires, which I had to hire others to eventually fix. The company said they did not charge me for the removal of this wall but they could not explain what the $300 payment entailed. They also could not provide an itemed receipt. Overall, I have made numerous attempts at all different levels of this company to resolve these issues with no success. I do not recommend this company to others.
