I hired this company to remodel my fireplace. First of all, their price is much higher than others we contacted. We decided to use him because he gave great promises and told us he had a lot experiences working on fireplace. Well, we found out he actually just went out and hired some random guys he knew! Those guys were totally unprofessional! They were using power cutters to cut the stone pieces on my lawn which left some big marks all over my lawn! After I told them to stop, they came back the next day cutting on my drive way... still no cutting table!!! What a joke! I spent more than $4000 for the labor + $800 for the material cost.

It came out beautifully. The staff and owner were courteous and prompt and i was a pleasure to deal with them. They were also relatively neat on a project that could have gotten very messy.

Mcnamara came out and installed a new gas fireplace unit in our home. They were very neat , they were professional. They were knowledgeable and instructed us on the use of our new fireplace very well. We were very pleased with the service, and they have a beautiful display showroom and a big selection.

ATWICE AS NICE CONSTRUCTION
I had a few contractors bid on my job to completely gut and renovate my basement, as well as renovate my fireplace with stone ledger.  I had contractors whom ive used before bid on the job, as well as contractors from Angies List that had high reviews.  About three years ago I had some renovations done to my house and Lou (the owner of Twice as Nice) was one of the contractors bidding on the job.  He was highly recommended by my architect at the time.  I ended up using a family member for the job under pressure from my inlaws ( i also ended up firing that family member off the job).  So this time around I called Lou again to bid on the job.   Lou is very punctual - he is always on time and he delivered his bid on time.  His price was very reasonable -  not the cheapest, not the most expensive.  I ended up going with Lou because of his punctuality and on recommendation from my architect.  I also needed the job to start ASAP since my wife was pregnant with our second child and due in 6 weeks.  Lou said he could finish the job in 4 weeks and he stuck to that timeline.   From start to finish he and his workers and subs came on time every morning, were respectful and cleaned up as best as they could every day.  He was very accesible via and phone, email and text and was responsive (usually within the hour). He was organized and we did not experience any delays due to ordering issues.  In the past, one of the worst issues i faced with contractors (both in the residential and commercail setting) was organization and that almost always someone forgot to order something and then we would have to wait long lead times.  Also, he was very organized when it came to having his electricians, plumbers, etc, do their work on the project.  There was absolutely no down time becaue of these things. In the end, I was very happy with the price, the work, and service, and that's alot coming from me.  Highly recommended.

Owner would not make good on his quote...only offered putting my payment towards the purchase of a new fireplace costing several thousand dollars. Bottom line...I am $427 lighter and still without a working fireplace!

AQuality Fireplace and Chimney LLC
We are extremely satisfied with Quality Fireplace and Chimney LLC. Rob the owner took the time to explain the entire process from start to finish. They took great care and were very professional. We love our new fireplace. We will highly recommend Rob to all our friends!! The price was great too. Finally feel like we found an honest company. We weren't sure which brick to go with and Rob helped us along the way with great advice. Looking forward to cold snowy nights by the fire.

Nick did an amazing job - we love the new Built-In cabinets and Fireplace surround. He helped us think through the design and than delivered against everything he said he would do. Compared to others we got quotes from, Nick's price was fair considering the amount of work that was performed. He used only highest quality materials, was very detailed in his proposal to ensure there were no misunderstanding's, and was meticulous to ensure the final product was of the best quality. Everything Nick did was custom for the space - my wife was scared of the size of TV I bought to mount above the fireplace, but Nick made it work - customized everything around it to ensure the TV fit in perfectly and didn't dominate the space. Nick did everything from re-routing wiring, HVAC, designing and building cabinets, sanding, painting, installing speakers, mantle, Stone tile around FP, TV, etc.... There was no nickel and diming - the price and the work we agreed to up front remained the same and Nick was true to his word which seems to be rare these days. We will definitely hire Nick again in the future for other home remodeling projects

Recent Review: Mike and Steve were great!  They arrived on time, prepped the area, completed the chimney sweep of our family room fireplace, and cleaned up after themselves.  At our request, they also provided us with quotes to install a new fireplace door, replace refractory panels and clean the chimney of our other fireplace.  They were very professional, friendly and clearly experts at their job.  I would highly recommend them . . . the savings by using the coupon on Angie's List is icing on the cake.

Recent Review: We could not be happier with East Coast Energy Products Inc. They were professional, punctual and very neat. We needed a tweak on a strip of molding and they were here the very next day. So happy with our new fireplace and mantle and now if we lose power in a storm, we have a heat source! I would highly recommend East Coast Energy, everyone there was a delight to work with. Carole and Jerry Brown, Tinton Falls, NJ

Recent Review: Keith and Marta were great to work with and managed all of the unexpected challenges of our job very professionally and collaboratively, we couldn't be happier.  We had a very traditional, wood burning fireplace with one full wall of our family room being completely brick with a raised brick hearth.  We wanted to convert to gas, remove the raised hearth and replace the brick with a more modern looking finish. We had a good idea of what we wanted to do at the start of the project but after discussing various options with Keith and Marta, we agreed to alter the design and go with a slate cultured stone for the fireplace surround while covering some of the brick in sheetrock to make the room feel more unified.  We discovered along the way that we needed to upgrade our existing gas line to accommodate the fireplace and while Ember did not perform that part of the job, they were nonetheless helpful in assuring it was done correctly.  The finished product is beautiful, much more aligned with the style of our home and we are very satisfied with the result!

Recent Review: They were fabulous. They didn?t have to chop through the chimney and there was no dust in my house. It took them 9 days to complete the job. I got bids from other companies to do the work of repairing the fireplace and the chimney but I realized that they were people that basically worked on jobsites and in housing under renovation. They didn?t have any idea about neatness. The price that Chimney Savers quoted was definitely more than the other bids. They were very expensive but worth every penny. They didn?t have to chop through the chimney. They were smart enough to know how to bring a stainless steel thing down. The little fireplace is a beautiful period piece - they saved some antique plaster work. The work was done to code. They poured cement around everything to solidify the chimney. I know that they have done work in fancy places. They are the company that does the television show ?This Old House? whenever they need a fireplace fixed. I would recommend them - the person to speak to is Mark Schaub. I would use them in the future, if necessary.
