Recent Review: I needed two outer walls and the ceiling of my garage insulated, along with a portion of the front wall of the house that had an area exposing the bathroom floor to extreme outside temperatures. John did a great job explaining the best, most cost effective solution for my garage. The job was executed on time, within the quoted budget, and with great professionalism. He and his team were very friendly and courteous. When we discovered one blemish in the ceiling that resulted from the installation, he can back immediately from an hour away (on a Saturday!) and repaired it. This is the kind of service you can expect from him and his team. It is too early in the season to know the ultimate effect of the insulation in extreme weather, but the room is already demonstrating the ability to hold heat that it could not do before. I will be recommending him to anyone needing insulation work, and I will absolutely request his services for future projects.

Recent Review: Overall the job went well. Spoke with Anthony the day prior. The job was complete within hours and the crew did a good job of not only installing the insulation but the cleanup was equally as good. Additional services were included and so the job went beyond our expectations.

Recent Review: Upfront, all was good. The salesperson arrived on time, was very nice and gave us an immediate quote. We were impressed that they called to confirm that they were coming. The workers finished the job in 3 days instead of 2. They had a problem with the machine on day one which was finally rectified on day 3 (apparently they tried to work around the problem on day 2). The bad news: when we went to put our stuff back into their proper places in the garage, we had a VERY unexpected surprise. Behind every nook and cranny, on the walls, in boxes and virtually throughout the garage we found the remnants of the cellulose that was sprayed as well as the fragments of ceiling and wall plaster. We found the cellulose in the webbing of the lawn chairs, on the umbrellas, behind the shelving, on the shelving, and in boxes that we thought were covered. They left painter's tape on the walls, some of which is too high for us to remove. When they initially came, we were told that they would drill the holes in the wall through the middle of the wall. So we cleaned off these shelves. We covered these things with a tarp away from the wall. When the workmen arrived, we asked them if they needed us to move anything else and they said no, they would take care of everything. Much to our surprise, they actually drilled holes towards the top of the wall and obviously did not cover anything. We trusted the workers, who told us they cleaned up after themselves, to have actually done what they claimed. To add insult to injury, one of the workers obviously enjoyed a cup of take out coffee as evidenced by their cup and the drip stain on the wall where the cup overturned. It took us close to five hours to clean up this mess and we really didn't appreciate that when the guys were leaving, they told us they cleaned up. When we looked, on the surface it did look like they had left the garage clean of the cellulose and plaster chips. What we did notice was that the driveway right outside the garage had remnants of cellulose on it but we thought the rain would take care of this. It took us another hour to clean this up. The guys were in a rush to get out since it was about 5 o'clock when they left. But before they left, I was handed a piece of paper to sign to confirm that they had cleaned up. If I had known then what I know now I would never have signed it. I would suggest that any one signing on with the company check very carefully at the end to make sure it is absolutely clean. The company did write back to me to say they were sorry and to offer further cleaning help but by that time it was too late....we had already done the bulk of the work ourselves..

Recent Review: They spent a day pumping cellulose into my closed garage ceiling. Everything was well explained in advance and well executed. It took more fill then expected, but they did not charge extra. It's made some difference, but not massive. All in all, I'm satisfied. Given that i had tried to get others to quote me a price through the state program unsuccessfully, this experience was a good one.

Recent Review: Great ! Devante Layne secured all the vents and made sure that areas were air-tight and properly covered to assure that insulation could not leak out of ceiling. In addition he covered any areas that needed to be re-secured. Devante then proceeded to clean up and leave my basement as clean as he found it. I was very pleased with the work, professionalism and work ethic. Francine Bernard

Recent Review: Ordered the $649 deal on Angies List which is valid for only one door. All Us Doors recommended the higher polystyrene insulation (higher R value) since there were items in my garage which needed better protection in the winter. Cost for the upgraded doors was $785 each. After the initial online order, they responded quickly, came within a week and installed 2 doors in a few hours. Very clean job. Technician was professional and polite. He even checked my faulty garage opener sensors at no charge and gave me a good quote for fixing it. The only thing I would like is a more detailed written description of the product they upgraded me with and detailed warranty info. Overall a great job and I would recommend them to others.

ADISCOUNT INSULATION COMPANY
Tom came and had a detailed look. He gave a very good estimate which included a lot more work than some of the competitors. He promptly scheduled work after receiving deposit and completed work as promised. He covered hard to reach areas which others had conveniently ignored and made sure nothing was left out. We are seeing difference in comfort level in this winter He runs a small company with 3 employees including himself so he does not have too many additional costs like fancy fliers. Ultimately savings are passed to homeowners.

ANJ Door Doctor
We interviewed three to four companies and we picked out the company that seemed to do quality work, seemed to understand the product and the installation process, and gave us a good price point. They did a very good job, although one side for the last several weeks looked like it was improperly done. However, after looking closely at the door frame, I realized that they did install it correctly (I thought they had left an open space between the door frame and the door). It just doesn't look as polished as it could. So with that in mind, I felt comfortable completely this report. They were very helpful on the phone and even came back a second time to give us more information. I would definitely use them again. They also gave us information on federal tax credits.

ADISCOUNT INSULATION COMPANY
I had a very cold dining room that I wanted to insulate. Discount Insulation was the third company I called for an estimate. Tom showed up on time and was far more helpful then the other companies. Both of them said I needed to insulate my attic as well as the dining room and the garage ceiling below.. After looking at my attic Tom said he didn't think it would be cost effective for me unless I addressed some other issues with the entrance to the attic. He also pointed out that my air conditioning vents were a big part of my problem. I have closed or covered all the vents and that alone has made a huge difference. Tom and a helper blew in the cellulose insulation and cleaned up very nicely afterwards. I would definitely use them again. It was a pleasure to work with an honest man. He stopped me from wasting money on my attic and pointed out the problem with my vents before he even had the job.
