Recent Review: We called for an estimate.  Barry came over and scoped the job.  Received the quote in timely manner.  The wall oven and microwave were wider than the existing so it required some sheetrock work.  Barry was very detailed, very careful, meticulous.  We couldn't be happier with the final results.  From estimate to installation, it was a smooth process.  Would highly recommend.

Recent Review: It was great. Jeff only charges for labor. He took me to Lowes and helped me pick out what I needed. I payed for it and then he did the labor. He was very helpfull. I am going to hire him for additional remodeling work. Using Jeff saved me a lot of money.

Recent Review: I hired Thomas to re-do a tiny mud room on the second floor of my 1863 Italianate double lot mansion in the Lower Garden District which was converted into multiple apartments back in the 20's.  The kitchen measures approximately 6' x 8'.  Sound insane?  Absolutely.  I ordered the appliances from a specialty compact appliance store in Texas.  He took care of the rest.  He gutted the kitchen and installed: 1) new coffee colored cabinets that he sourced for me 2) stove top range & oven 3) microwave mounted under cover 4) sink 5) built in under counter drawer style refrigerator 6) built in under counter drawer style dishwasher 7) butcher block counter top 8) painting walls, ceiling, cleaning slate floors, & etc. Did I mention the space is 6' x 8'?  It is basically a sea worthy yacht galley.  It came out absolutely and stunningly fantastic.  I wish I could post pictures but I reserve the right of my tenant's privacy.  He painted the walls, fixed the plumbing, wrangled all the appliances, and it came out amazing.  Beautiful piece of work.  He's not you're ordinary Renaissance man. He finished the work in the two week period we specified on the bid.  I was speechless when I saw it.  He finished it in the two week time span.  This doesn't happen in New Orleans.  I didn't know what to say.  I was stunned.  My wife and and I took him and his wonderful wife out for dinner, my treat, when the job was finished.  That was really cool.

Recent Review: Greg and Adam are very professional, punctual and neat.  There was no drywall dust to speak of after completing repairs.  They took their shoes off when it was wet outside because they know that we don't wear shoes in our house.  I am very pleased with their work and I trusted them enough to have them work alone at our house.  We had some small miscommunication (on both sides) as far as details on work but the work was taken care of with no problem and Greg asked a lot of questions to make sure we were all on the same page.  I am so happy to finally have a reliable company to call on when I need work done.  They are coming back out next month to complete another job.  Just call early because they have a waiting list!  Thanks Greg and Adam for caring about your customers and providing quality work!

Recent Review: Living in a 2nd floor apartment with a 21-step stairway access created an additional hurdle for all workers during the warm and humid Summer in New Orleans. All cabinets and fixtures were transported from ground level to the apartment by the workmen without complaint. Discarded items were also moved to the curb for pick up by disposal services/recyclers In conclusion, all work met or exceeded expectations. Both professionals were dedicated to doing a correct and complete job even when additional supplies were required - causing small time delays (damaged sink basin and more crown molding needed). TP and plumber Barry Ross will be called upon again to provide any additional services. Both TP and Barry Ross arrived when they said they would and used good communication skills to keep us informed. They're good people!

It went great, he installed a vanity light in my bathroom, installed a over the range microwave, ceiling fan in my master bedroom, and a front entry door with sidelights. Everything was done very professional and as agreed upon. He is a great guy with an excellent personality and work ethic. He makes sure you are happy with the job that he performs. The front door looks amazing, he even salvaged all the old useable work materials. The vanity light he installed looks great also! I had a vent hood above my range that he took out and then installed my over the range microwave. I plan on using him again soon to install a double gate in my wooden fence.

AJeff of all Trades
I have scoured Angie's List and elsewhere to find the right handyman, and I finally found him in Jeff. Jeff can do anything, does it right, and is responsive and personable. I was out of town and needed a handful of projects done and got in touch with Jeff. He was able to schedule the work within days, and communicated regularly about progress on the day of. He even went out of his way to stop by a nearby hardware store and pickup an antique hinge to rehang a shutter that had fallen down (something I knew needed to be done, but hadn't mentioned to him). That kind of service provider, coupled with Jeff's wide variety of skills (including plumbing and electrical) are a rare find. Just today I emailed Jeff that we are out of town and have guests coming to stay and learned our microwave is broken. Jeff offered to pick up a replacement and install it before our friends arrive in 48 hours. I can't say enough good things about him. From now on, Jeff will be my first call for anything that needs to be done on our 150+ year old New Orleans house, and I suggest he be yours too.

All the work was done satisfactory. Additionally, Jeff gave us sound advice on work we were completing ourselves. Jeff was very responsive on emails and communicating when we would come. Jeff's greatest value is his knowledge of building codes and diagnosing problems. Although not the most cost competitive from our estimates, we choose Jeff because we wanted lasting quality work.

Jeff is a perfectionist.  Everything is done correctly.  He was always on time and worked late.  He went to Home Depot more than once to pick up supplies, door and fencing.  He worked around my schedule and the deliveries of countertops and appliances.  He took away all trash, old appliances, old light fixtures and door.  He even took away the trash that the countertop guys left.
