I called the folks at Standard Water Control as they had initially installed the drain tile and sump pumps in my house before I bought the house in July 2012. The drain tile was installed in 1997 along with the original sump pump. The back-up sump pump was installed in 2004. I replaced the back-up sump pump batteries last fall. I ended up replacing the original sump pump myself with phone help from the employees at Standard Water Control. I did buy a new sump pump onsite for $320 and found that the price is about twice what you can purchase similar models for on Amazon. So, I think the item was a bit overpriced. Anyhow, this company has a good reputation and was helpful over the phone and in person, so i will use them again in the future as needed.

Sump pump failed after hours(of course) but Weld plumbing got one of their plumbers out within 2 hours (maybe less) to totally replace the sump pump. He was so nice and so efficient and got it done in under an hour. The price was high because it was after hours, but we were told what it would cost before the plumber came out. We agreed to that price, otherwise we would have had a flooded basement.

They came on schedule, did work in 45 min., cleaned up well, and the pump works fine. Plan to use them again.

Although there were a few glitches with the sump pump during the initial installation, the owner came out to fix it the next day. No problems since. The new sump pump was in heavy use last spring with the melting snow. We're glad we had it installed before winter ended and the melting began.

We woke up to water in our basement. The sump pump had stopped working during the night. We searched Angie's List in a hurry and called My Plumber, Inc. The receptionist was able to have a repairman to our home in 30 minutes with a new sump pump. He was very friendly, courteous, and professional. We had our new sump pump installed within one hour! My Plumber, Inc. saved us from having a huge and costly mess in our basement! They deserve a five-star rating.

Very please with the service I received and the install of my new sump pump. The provider took the time to provide detailed product information to me which helped me make a decision on a battery backup system vs a normal sump pump. The install took place the same day I called which was amazing. Would definitely use this company again and will refer to all my friends and family.

Two servicemen arrived on time and looked at the sump pump. They gave me a sheet with three kinds of new sump pumps on it and suggested we get a new one, since ours is original to the house (25 years). The prices of the new pumps ranged from $400-$1200. They were professional and informative during the visit. My husband ordered a sump pump online and installed it himself.

I needed a new sump pump with battery back up. The plumber, Chad; was a great guy and did a stellar job. I'll use these guys the next time I need a plumber and give them my highest rcommendation.
Recent Review: This project went great, i can not say enough good things about Gardner and their lead field supervisor Seth. Seth knows his trade, I understood the project and what need to be done. Other contractors bid the job while keeping me in the dark and saying trust me! Seth explained what needed to be done and saved me $3000. other contractors tried to over sell the job and do more then what was needed. I felt safe and confident choosing Seth, he is the most honest person i have ever met. Also i was a big skeptic of interior drain tile! Not any more, we lucked out and had the Derain tile in before three big storms and our basement stayed dry! Without drain tile we would've flooded! Another benefit is our basement smells good and is getting better every week! We used to have 4 dehumidifiers running non stop to keep the basement dry, even in the winter! Now we have one and it doesn't run consistently. Wow! I called seven companies and choose Gardner Construction for a reason, save your self some time and take my advise and just call Gardner.
Recent Review: I have 2 sump pumps in my basement. One went out and needed to be replaced. Jack responded to my call almost immediately and arranged to have the sump pump replaced that same day. Ryan was the plumber who did the installation and he was very professional. I hired them a second time to install 2 battery back up sump pumps and had the same timely and professional response. I would definitely recommend them.
Recent Review: Joe gave me an estimate over the phone based on the square footage of our basement which I already had from another basement contractor's written estimate. The price he quoted me was nearly $2000 less than his closest competitor. What impressed me was his honesty - he listed the exact cost of materials and labor and what his profit would be on the job. He gave me a start date approx a month from the phone call and his crew arrived on the day at the time he stated they would. His crew prepped the basement with plastic and covered the carpet. They also demo'd and removed a broken basement shower and removed the toilet for us for an additional $100 which we had agreed upon previously. Start to finish it took his crew 2 days for our 98 ft basement. They were very accommodating and were happy to allow me to take pictures of the progress including measuring the slope from the high point to the low point of the sump to ensure water would move quickly through the system Stating "we stand by our work." On the morning of day 3 Joe came by and cleaned up all the excess material outside on the street and patched a spot on the concrete block that I did not find aesthetically pleasing. (yes I am that picky) I would definitely hire Joe again, and plan to when it comes time to install our basement egress windows. I would also recommend him to others. Overall GREAT value for the $$$$.
Recent Review: We were having problems with the sump pump. The float switch kept getting stuck, and we had water overflow onto the floor a few times. I got a prompt call back and the plumber came out the next morning to look at our sump pump. He straightened and hung the pipe better, cleared out some debris that was in the well, and cleaned out the check valve. He could have just recommended a new pump, but did these things instead. It has been working great since then. He couldn't guarantee that it wouldn't have the same problem again, so he considered it a diagnostic service call and didn't charge for what he did. We sure appreciated it. What a decent and honest guy. Aqueduct will be our first call for any plumbing issues we have in the future.
Recent Review: Jason did a very neat and excellent job. The sump works well and drains as it is suppose to. I have used Rascher a number of times in the past and have always had professional and courteous service from them. I highly recommend them for your plumbing needs.
Recent Review: Jesse Trebil sent Tom out to do a bid on our basement. He was very cordial and professional, and we exchanged some ideas, eventually coming up with a good plan. The price was very fair, and a two-man team came and got the drain tile completed in two days. They also were very professional and competent. Overall, Jesse Trebil feels like a small business that values each customer, rather than a large company who is just looking to add another project to their list. I highly recommend.
Recent Review: Excellent experience. They gave a bid, won the job, showed up on time, did the work and the final bill is what was advertised. I emailed them several times to get clarification on a number of aspects of the job before awarding them the job and, even though it was not a big job, they patiently answered all my questions. The field service technician was courteous and professional. Would hire them again in a heartbeat.
