Recent Review: We considered two companies (AirTech being the other).  We really liked both.  Due to us being Costco members, the rebates we received from Costco really separated Marsh and their Lennox products from the AirTech/Daikin products price-wise a difference of ~$4000.   Our furnace had been shut down due to a cracked heat exchanger.  Thank God it was the warm few weeks in early Dec.  We were able to get a Marsh crew in here within a few days of their sales rep coming out.  Loving the new furnace, and I'm sure we'll love the air conditioner come summer.  Also excited to see a big cut in our energy bills. Our housing inspector did note one correction needed when inspecting the air conditioner--the outside hose to the air conditioner now requires a protective wrap to prevent weather-wear (new code in Woodbury in 2015).  Marsh sent someone out within a couple of days to get it taken care of.   Overall very happy with the value received from Marsh/Costco.

Recent Review: We brought Airtech in to give a second opinion on replacing a furnace after a different provider found a cracked heat exchanger during a routine inspection.  They confirmed the diagnosis of the first company, and then quoted us a price about $1000 cheaper for a nicer furnace, so we had them install the new one.  They brought space heaters for the weekend before the work could be completed (we found out about the situation the Thursday before MLK day weekend), did a great job installing, and were very helpful.  Would work with them again, though I hope we don't have to.

Recent Review: Center Point "red tagged" my furnace earlier this summer and told me the heat exchanger was cracked. They were more than happy to sell me a new one if I wanted. As an alternative, Center Point offered to replace my heat exchanger (that was still under warranty) for $750 I called Angell Air this morning and talked to Jeremy their service technician. He offered to come over and verify that it was cracked for a cleaning fee. Normally I wouldn't do something like this, but Jeremy was actually the second person to ask me if I was sure it was cracked. Jeremy cleaned my furnace for an hour and informed me it wasn't cracked at all and the cleaning he did took care of it! I can't tell you how relived I was. He saved me over $600! I know I will need a new furnace and A/C within the next 2 years and I will be purchasing from Angell Air.

Recent Review: Good and Friendly service. Only real issue is the actual repair cost us about $225/hr... a little steep, but about what everyone else charges for the fix.

A capacitor needed to be replaced. It costs $35. They charged 292. I feel It is price gouging. On talking to a manager, he said that insurance, inventory cost etc more than justifies their “reasonable” charges.i will never go near them. Only reason I went with them was because they installed it. At that time I could talk to the owner and he was very reasonable.

DRiver City Furnace & Fireplace
The technician immediately suspected a problem with the furnace, not the thermostat. In fact, he blamed the heat exchanger even before he looked at the furnace. The technician said that the thermostat was not working because of a problem with the furnace. He reset the rollout switch, turned up the thermostat to get the furnace firing, and looked at the flames. He told me that the problem was a cracked heat exchanger, and ''red tagged'' the furnace so that it couldn't be used until it was repaired. He said that heat exchangers in this particular furnace (Armstrong) last only 7 years and that they could perform a warranty replacement of the heat exchanger for a price of approximately $350. He did not check for carbon monoxide. I got a second opinion. Another company came by and felt that there was no evidence to support the diagnosis of a cracked heat exchanger. A loose hose was repaired, and there was no evidence of CO from the furnace.

They wore little booties to keep the floors clean -- which also impressed me because it's a lot more efficient than taking boots or shoes off and on several times per call. They were polite, efficient, and once the job was done you would never know that they had been there.

AStafford Home Service
Left a message, and they responded within a couple of hours. Dan came out to evaluate our furnace, and got me an estimate soon after (I think it was that evening). Their prices were very competitive compared to others I had gotten. I eventually went with a different company, but only because I had a previous relationship. Dan and staff were very professional, courteous, and willing to work with me. I'd consider them again if I need more HVAC work.
