Recent Review: Do not hesitate to call Jim, his service is outstanding. I called Jim based on positive comments I read of him on Angie's list, and while my expecations were high, he greatly exceeded them. Jim and his son moved all of the heavy office furniture/freezer out of the basement, carefully placed it in the garage, and even paid a lot of attention that my locks and keys matched up for my Craigs list sale (I didn't even think to ask him to do this, he did this on his own). They did an outstanding job of cleaning out the crawl space and trimming the hedges out front, and we talked about future things he might be able to help me with. He volunteered to take a few things out of my trash pile to dispose of himself, because he thought I might have trouble getting rid of them otherwise. His rates are very reasonable, and he even talked me out of some things I was considering having him do, telling me it wouldn't be worth my spending money on. This was a very positive experience, I am glad to have Jim and his son on my "go to" list of people to get things done in the future.

Recent Review: I have worked with Ben on a couple of projects in my home. Even though I usually dislike having people work in my home (invasive, dirty etc) it was extremely easy with Ben. He listens to what I want / need and delivers smoothly. As a single woman, I must say, he made things extremely easy, hence, me not stressing with the home projects. He pretty much takes care of everything - including the ordering, picking up. He is professional, transparent, quick response and clean with project. And I dont feel the intrusion or am I left with a dirty home. The other major part for me is trust. He has mine.

Recent Review: After a Friday night phone call, John was able to fit my job into his Saturday. This is the most responsive and timely Handyman I have ever encountered! Service within one day, unheard of. He arrived with a sump pump that his experience told him would be the correct size. He had to install the pump in a very short crawl space, I'm sure it is a workman's nightmare. The job was complete in a short amount off time, he was very pleasant and courteous . I will call him again and recommend him to friends.

Recent Review: It was a cold and dreary night caused by the furnace in my house going dead. I called Tim the next morning he came out and did an inspection and recomendation. The next day he got it going on a temporary basis. About five days later Tim and Ron , his assistant got the old one out of the crawl space and relaced it with a new furnace. There is nothing like heat in Minnesota in February Tim and Ron worked very hard for several days finishing the project. I can't remember the last time I saw somebody work that hard! My hat is off to them!

Handyman Connection Twin Cities
Recent Review: From first contact with this company to final payment, it was a pleasure to deal with these people. Very friendly and professional. Bruce, the craftsman assigned to my projects, arrived on time to give me an estimate of the work. He was thorough and professional, asked for my input and provided his thoughts on how to save time and money on the projects without compromising quality. He did everything I asked, kept me informed about his progress and cleaned up when he was done. The work areas he was in were spotless when he was done. He even vacuumed the stairs that he used to get upstairs even though he didn't perform any work on or near the stairway! I'm a tough critic but I loved these people. I almost wish I had more work for them to do right away. If you have the chance to work with Handyman Connection, do it (and ask for Bruce).

Handyman Marty
Recent Review: Marty responded immediately to my email regarding work that we wanted done on our new home.  Specifically we wanted a motion sensor flood light on the back of the house, a photosensitive eye on our garage to control our garage lights, and some help routing some cables for our entertainment center.  The flood light required both mounting as well as accessing a crawl-space in our attic to run electricity out to the mounting location.  The photosensitive eye also required some electrical work.  He came to our house at our convenience, and made himself readily available for the estimate. He initially estimated about $400 for the job, came in at $340 for parts and labor.  He was prompt arriving to our place to get the work done on a pre-appointed day, and he was efficient in getting the job done.  We were very happy with his work. We have a number of odd jobs pending on our new place and without a doubt we will contact Marty to take care of these when the time comes.

Ben was fantastic!  I cannot say enough positive things about his work and his professionalism!   I purchased a "big deal" coupon here for 3 hours of discounted services.  Ben then came to assess the project and give me an estimate for how the additional labor and materials costs.  We set up an appointment for him to complete the project a couple of weeks later, due to my busy schedule.   When Ben arrived the second time, he dove right into the project and got everything done faster (and therefore cheaper) than his estimate had suggested.  The work he did was high quality, and I appreciated that he consulted me on things like where to make a hole in the wall to minimize aesthetic concerns.   The thing that impressed me the most, however, was what he did once the work was completed.  He was aware that I was on a very tight budget for this project, and I had asked him to leave some things for me to finish up in order to save on labor costs.  He told me that he always cleans up after himself, but he gave me the option of leaving things as they were to save me a few bucks.  I chose the cheap option, and he repeated that he felt bad leaving a mess, but would do so only because I had asked.  At that point I had to run to a meeting, and I paid my bill and left him to finish packing up.  Imagine my surprise when I came home to a tidy home!  He had done the clean up after all, and on his own time without charging me a dime.  I feel a bit guilty about his staying late to save me time/money, but WOW what customer service! I really could not have been more impressed with this experience.  I would absolutely and without the slightest hesitation recommend Handy Rite.
