Recent Review: Purchased Electrolux cooktop for new house construction. At time of purchase, vendor was going out of business but cooktop under warranty. When installed, part was missing. Called Electrolux service. 3 times they scheduled a repair, and 3 times repair service dd not show. By this time, we'd had enough of Electrolux service. We called Electrolux again. 1st CSR argued saying the stove was not under warranty. 2nd CSR flat out lied that she had already scheduled another service repair call. She did have Greenway contact us. Josh was the total professional, and managed thru our frustration. He arranged to have new part delivered. He even came on a Packer Sunday to make the repair. The stove has worked great since. Josh got an additional endorsement when we learned that our W/D supplier had contracted with Greenway as their in-house repair company. We would absolutely do business with him again-can't say the same about Electrolux.

Recent Review: He seem to be a very honest person. He had an entry right before he suppose to start our project and yet he was able to complete it. He's upfront about everything and explained everything to us. We were concern about keeping cost down and he work with us about keeping the cost down. Once he got going with it he got done quickly.

Recent Review: Very well. Jim arrived at the scheduled time and had everything fixed in about an hour. We have used Oasen for many years and find them incredibly reliable, anxious to fix rather than replace and always friendly. I highly recommend them.

Recent Review: Ron correctly diagnosed the problem with our vintage Jenn Air without requiring a service call and ordered the needed parts. After the parts arrived Ron set up an appointment to install them. What at first appeared to be a routine repair turned into a much more difficult job. In order to install the new parts he had to drill out the old connections which were welded rather than screwed into place. It was a laborious process which Ron performed with skill and good humor. The service charge was extremely reasonable particularily in light of the extra work required. I would not hesitiate to use Standish Service for any future work.

Recent Review: This is a family owned business that is currently run by brothers Larry and Terry. We chose them because they were locally owned and family run. They provide 24 hour service and that was important to us because we go south every winter and need to be sure there is someone who will be responsible for our heating system when we are not here. On the very first appointment both brothers showed up to talk about our needs in order to design the best system for our year round comfort and needs, while keeping budget in mind. When the estimate time came they both showed up again and went over what was being recommended and why. They also gave us options to save extra money. They have been doing this their whole lives and are very knowledgeable, so we felt comfortable that we were in the right hands with this big job. This has been a multistep process that involved having them come to the house a number of times to coordinate with other subs doing work. Terry has arrived to all these steps in a very timely manner with no complaint, being cheerful in spite of the intense heat this summer. He did gas connections for our new gas fireplace, new ducting for our bathroom fans, ducting for our clothes dryer which changed location and a gas hookup for our new stove. Their concern went down to my being happy with their placement of floor registers including their size and color. Just wonderful service, and service with a smile!

Recent Review: Our first estimates from a different contractor were higher and involved extra steps and complications for the project. Steve from 4 Lakes made it simpler and explained the process so we could understand it. He answered our questions each time we had them and was friendly and eager to please. He gave advice and suggestions to streamline our project and helped us think ahead for future considerations. The estimate was itemized so we could see which items we could afford now and which we could get to later. The workers themselves were friendly and professional. They didn't mind me asking questions and offered to let me watch them work to see how it all came together, explaining it as they went. They were efficient and considerate of keeping the rest of the house clean. On another occasion, we had a frozen pipe and Steve told me how to troubleshoot it over the phone, saving us the time and cost of a visit! It's a good feeling to have a contractor like 4 Lakes to count on!

Recent Review: We wrote up our ideas for completely rebuilding two bathrooms and updating the kitchen countertops and floor. We interviewed four top rated on Angie's list remodelers, and each had good suggestions for how the remodeling project should be done and their preferred materials (flooring and countertops) and fixtures (plumbing and electrical). After investigating the various suggestions, we finalized our request with detailed specifications for flooring, countertops, tub, shower, and additional plumbing and electrical work. Andy Hino's bid was not the least expensive, and we did not choose his preferences for about half the materials and fixtures, but it was clear that of the four Andy was the most straightforward and flexible. Andy Hino and his crew of Sam and Sean are first rate. All three were competent and careful; meticulous, considerate, and good communicators. They always asked: is this what you wanted, how do you want this done, is it OK if we change how we will do this? The care they took with the installation of the flooring, bathroom walls, and ceramic tile was truly impressive. The only disruption to living in our home was the two days when the kitchen sink, cooktop, and countertops were removed. Two days later we had full use of the kitchen. We were also very pleased with Andy's choice of subcontractors, including Stoppleworth Plumbing, Reeb's Electric, and Prestige Laminates. Our selection of Cambria quartz countertops was worth every penny We have lived with Andy's remodel of our home for more than one year, and we are happier with his work today then we were the day the A H Remodeling trailer left for the last time. Thank you Andy, Sam and Sean.

ATRI COUNTY APPLIANCE INC
I called to see if my old stove could be fixed and found out that it was truly a fire hazard at this point. I decided to get a new stove. Tri-County Appliance waived the service fee when I decided to buy a new stove from them. They were friendly, accommodating and professional. The pricing was reasonable and I had a new stove within 4 days. I would certainly use them again.

Two service calls, initial diagnosis fuse, returned 9 days & later replaced fuse. The new fuse immediately blew. New diagnosis "board" ($800). I asked if was the "generator board?" He said yeah. I know absolutely nothing electronically, "generator" just came to mind, as he was looking at the engineering diagrams. My thought, he really can't read them. We are buying a new cooktop.

The builder of our house said American was notorious for not bringing a water line to hook up the ice maker (they do this so they aren't liable for water damage if it is hooked up incorrectly) so we called and confirmed with American that they would be bringing a water line. Installation day came and they didn't bring a water line, so they had to come out another day and install that. Then our dishwasher started leaking, so they had to come out again to repair that. A couple days later we noticed water was leaking from our ceiling into our basement, we had to fight American to get them out to our house ASAP!  Water had been leaking out of our dishwasher and under our brand new red oak floors, and they were totally ruined.  American over tightened a nut and it cracked when they repaired our dishwasher. Dealing with American's Insurance company went smoothly.  They did pay to have our brand new house fixed, but it was inconvenient and just a terrible mess. I will never do business with American TV and Appliance again, and I hope by writing this review you don't either!

I called Jerry regarding the problem with the cooktop initially.  He was able to diagnose the problem based on the error code showing on the cooktop.  The repair required ordering a part.  He provided an estimate of cost as well as when he expected the part to arrive for installation.  He indicated he would call when the part arrived to arrange for installation.  Just a day later the dishwasher pump broke.  I called Jerry and he indicated he could repair both appliances at the same service call to save me on service charges.  The parts arrived, service call made and both appliances repaired.  It took some time as both units had to be removed and disassembled for the repairs to be made.  Jerry took excellent care to avoid marring the wood floors when handling the dishwasher which was much appreciated.  The repairs were made efficiently and to my satisfaction. Jerry has repaired other appliances for me over the last 1.5 years.  One was a GE refrigerator and the other, a front-loading Electrolux dryer.  I will not call anyone else to perform large appliance repairs.  I have even called Jerry for his recommendations for other service industry providers such as HVAC.  I trust Jerry.  He has proven his honesty and integrity in his business dealings.  He has also exhibited an excellent service and repair knowledge/ability with large appliances of multiple brands.
