I have never had such an awful experience with an appliance repair company as I did with Main appliance. I had a washer covered under an extended warranty. It took a month to get the intiial parts to repair the washer. Once they finally came to fix it, the washer broke down again within 2 days. Then, we had to wait for Main appliance to verify the machine was beyond repair and authorize a credit for a new washer. This took several weeks as well. All in all, we did not have a washer from February until the beginning of May!! The warranty company did what they could to get Main appliance to do their job. Will never use this company again.

We have a stacked washer and dryer in the upstairs bathroom that is enclosed in a closet like enclosure.  The dryer is vented through the attic. When Aaron came out, he was very nice, but was concernced about lifting the dryer off the washer.  He looked at the drum, took off a circular wire, and said that mabye the drains were clogged, but maybe it needed a pump.  He would bring one the next time just in case.  He said he would schedule a time when another worker could come out and help lift off the dryer. I mentioned to him that it was vented through the attic.  He expressed concern if the vents were plastic.  I was not sure. Found out they are aluminum NOW IT GETS UGLY> Two days later, Jeff appeared and said Aaron was coming. He did not say he was the owner, only that he was the vent specialist. I told him we have had no problems in the past 15 years with the venting system.  He said, "Well then it should be okay".  He went up stairs and pulled the washer and dryer out. and began to grumble about, This was impossible.  When my husband when upstairs, he told  him it was a job he would not do, because of liability if , in the future, the washing machine would leak.  He was quite irate and rude to my 81 year old husband.  He claimed no one told him that the venting was in the attic.  (Not True). He psushed the washer dryer partially back in, (Not how he found it) and he stormed out of the house, did say he would not charge us.   I did not know at first , what had happened and wondered if Aaron was coming yet. My husband told me that he was talkig about liabilty. I called t he store and was told the owner could not talk to me for an hour.  I called back and got a nice receptionist and explained I did not know if Aaron was coming. Jeff came on the line, and was rude to me...saying he would not tell me anything until I told him what my husband said.  After I said, my husband mentioned liability, he went on to again say no one told him about the attic  venting, and if the washer leaked he might have the liability. He said Aaron was not coming. I recalled the next day when I wondered where the metal ring was that Aaron  had taken off and complaianed that he had not put the dryer and washer back as he found it, and has managed to disconnect the dryer vent in the process. He emailed me back and said Aaron never took anything and I should call him again but call his LAWYER!.  I later found the metal ring as Jeff had taken items off the top of the dryer and put them in the adjacent bedroom.   I contacted another service, my son took the dryer off with my husband and t he man cleaned the washer in 1/2 hour and  left and did a perfect job. He also put back the metal ring that Aaron had taken off.

I called and left a message around 9:30 A.M. asking if anyone would be available today and got a call back by 10:15 - he said in was on my side of town and could stop by and diagnose the problem and see if any parts were needed, then pick up the parts and come back to fix it. He was here in less than half an hour and had the washing machine fixed within 15 minutes, all for the standard service call charge. I know some of this was just good luck that he was on our side of town but he was incredibly friendly throughout our interactions and was clearly knowledgeable (even on the phone he asked specific questions and had narrowed it down to a couple of possibilities).
