Recent Review: Another plumber discovered that a toilet leak had rotted the wood underfloor of our main bathroom beneath the tile floor and stated that prior to initiating plumbing work, a contractor should check the wood rot and whether the tub was adequately supported. Once Nick Reynolds of Eye4Design, a contractor we trust completely, determined that the tub was adequately supported, he referred us to Sam Torres, Happy Sam's Plumbing, whom we engaged to unclog the drain and repair the toilet. Sam cleared the drain by chemical means. He discovered the cause of the toilet leak and, at our request, reinstalled the toilet for temporary use until he was able to return four days later with parts necessary to effect a permanent repair, after which, he inspected the toilet for leaks, wobbliness, and proper operation. During this visit, he also repaired a shower leak in our other bathroom. He replaced worn seats and washers, reinstalled stems into valve, and reinstalled hardware over srems.
