I used John The MoldMan when I had a flood in my kitchen and living room. I called a few companies, John answered the phone and within 20 minutes, he arrived, and his crew was able to vacuum up all the water and save my kitchen cabinets! They removed all the wet drywall, dried everything, and even put all the drywall back and painted! I didn’t have to look for other repairmen because John coordinated all the repairs to get me back to normal fast! It was less than a week! I had water issues a while back and that company took over 4 weeks, with me having to schedule workers to repair my home. You can’t go wrong hiring John for any of your water or mold issues.

AAbsolute Maintenance & Consulting
Our upstairs neighbors unit flooded water into our condo. We had Cameron come out and assess the damage. We had no idea what to do or how any of this worked. He was very helpful and I feel a lot more educated about these types of issues. Next time this happens I'm calling Cameron right away.

THEY WERE ABLE TO GIVE AN ESTIMATE AND FIX THE WATER DAMAGE RATHER QUICKLY. I PAID THE INSURANCE DEDUCTIBLE AND THEY BILLED MY INSURANCE FOR THE DIFFERENCE.

A24 HOUR RESTORATION
Emergencies don't happen during normal hours. We had a water heater go on us and create water damage. We needed to quickly have the water removed and the areas dried and preventive measures taken to prevent mold. 24 Restoration was on the job quickly and efficiently. I would absolutely recommend them.

ACHEM-DRY ACTION QUICK
I was ready to write off my carpet, but they saved it. Eric and his technician, Tony, worked very hard and did a great job. This is a non-toxic method which is very important to me as I have allergies. the price was based on square footage which Eric calculated conservatively. Nice people.

AServiceFirst Restoration Inc
Called and had someone at the house that afternoon. I was provided some information on how to temporarily seal up the area around the door were the water was coming in. The next day the team came to open up the walls and setup dryers. After 4 days the area was dried out and equipment picked up. since all of this happened over the holidays the repairs were split over two days. Freddie came and patched up the holes in the wall and reapplied texture. The next session he replaced the molding, baseboards, primered and painted. Doesn't sound like much be he did an excellent job. Everything lines up and matches perfectly. I am picky and i can't tell where the work was done. Freddie was very professional, told me exactly what he was doing and made sure I didn't have any questions. I would definitely recommend service first restoration and Freddie Preciado.

Recent Review: If I could give this company 10 stars I would. I am so, so, so, so, so, so happy with the results on my home. I had water damage and as a result walls, windows and floors needed to be removed, dried out and then put back. Pure Restoration was recommended to me. The owner Tommy came over, assessed everything and explained what I would need to do. Tommy was able to handle all the insurance paperwork/submissions. I would have been utterly LOST without his help with the insurance process and company. Tommy's team (Luis, Roberto, Walter and Kelvin) that worked on my house were GREAT!! Their attention to detail is exceptional!!!!!!!! They are true craftsmen. They were so professional and genuinely nice people it was a pleasure having them in my home. They showed up on time everyday, left my house clean everyday before they left no matter what they were working on and answered any questions/concerns I had. Water damage was a very stressful thing to have happen and Tommy and team were there to help me. Tommy answered all my questions and emails and always got back to me in a timely manner and helped keep me calm under a stressful and long insurance process. They office team (Angelina and Catherine) were also very helpful and patient with me. I cannot recommended this company highly enough. You will not be disappointed if you use them!!!!!!!!
Recent Review: I contacted three different flooring companies for my repair job. Not only was Old Tyme's estimate the lowest, Scott made an effort to go to different suppliers to try to find the closest match, and he was able to find bamboo that was extremely close to the existing flooring. This was a huge relief because otherwise I would have had to replace a much larger section of the floor. Furthermore, they were able to schedule me relatively soon, which was important since I had bare concrete in part of my condo that I was living in. The workers that came and did the work were very professional and did everything in a relatively short period of time. Scott even sent Ruben back after the replacement drywall was put in in order to put back on the base molding. All in all, I was very happy with the work Scott and his team did on such short notice. I definitely plan on going to him for any future flooring needs.
Recent Review: We had a drain overflow dump a lot of water onto the drywall ceilings of our two master bathrooms. Our plumber opened up the ceilings and repaired the drain problem and then recommended TFM Mold And Water Damage Restoration to take care of the water-damaged drywall. Thomas Medrano, owner of TFM, and his crew were out the very next morning to take care of the problem. Thomas explained the whole procedure and provided an estimate of the cost on the spot. After our OK they began work immediately to remove the water-damaged drywall. There was also water damage to the ceiling of our garage which still had the “popcorn” ceiling. Thomas arranged for the required sampling and asbestos testing of the spray-on acoustic by a licensed firm (the age of our home meant the spray-on acoustic might have asbestos in it). After they finished opening-up the bathroom ceilings and part of adjoining walls, TFM placed large dehumidifiers in the two master bathrooms and the garage. This was Thursday night and the dehumidifiers ran 24x7 until Monday morning. Thomas cautioned us that the units were noisy and would generate a lot of heat … no kidding! Thomas kept us posted during the weekend to report that the asbestos testing came back negative which meant he could finish-up his work on Monday. Thomas returned Monday morning and his instrument check showed that all of the wood and drywall adjacent to the leak and in the garage was now fully dried-out. Thomas was then able to shut-down and remove his dehumidifiers. That completed TFM’s work. Thomas and his two crew members were thorough and careful in their work and fully cleaned-up after themselves. Everything about what they did was prompt and professional. TFM’s billings were accepted by our insurance company for full reimbursement (after our deductible). I highly recommend TFM Mold And Water Damage Restoration.
Recent Review: Nathan with the Flood Doctor Restoration and Construction was awesome! We've been using Nathan for over 25 years Recently this month he worked directly with Sears to expedite our claim with their insurance company since our washing machine was under warranty. I highly recommend Nathan and his crew who helped with the furniture moving, water removal, and setting up their drying equipment to dry my garage. The carpet was ruined from the flood so Nathan brought carpet samples to us so we could select the new carpet and color ( He even took us lunch to thank us for the business and customer support).
Recent Review: After contacting Patriot Plumbing (selected through Angie's List based on strong recommendations) in the morning, Dino and Gary arrived later that afternoon to assess the situation, perform diagnosis, and recommend a way forward. Within 2 hrs they had identified the issue and in a clear and concise manner explained how the situation might have occurred and my options going forward. They explained that the situation would require pipe repair, water damage mitigation and restoration, and would likely qualify as an insurance claim event based upon the nature of the incident. Never having dealt with a serious plumbing situation as a homeowner before, I really appreciated the way they candidly described what would be required and offered a few alternatives with different cost/risk trade-offs. Once we agreed upon a way-forward, they were quick to implement the repair, recommend and contact a water damage mitigation/restoration contractor, and close the loop with me to ensure satisfaction with the work performed. These gentlemen are friendly, knowledgeable, respectful, and most importantly, I felt they were honest and candid. My baseline scoring for a good experience with a contractor is a "B", so the scoring I have provided is a real testament to their excellence. The only reason I rate the Price category as a "B" is because I consider their pricing to be reasonable. This should in no way reflect negatively on Patriot Plumbing. I reserve the "Excellent" category for situations where I am surprised by how low a price is for a service or product. In this case, I feel that the service was high quality and the price was fair and reasonable. I'm sure I might have found someone willing to do it for less money, but I was happy to pay for the high quality of service and consultation I received. I doubt I would have received this level of quality at a lower price.
Recent Review: Three months ago, in early November (2017), I discovered a problem with one of the dry-walls in my kitchen. It seemed to be water-related but I could not see what was going on. I suspected some sort of water-leak. I was not sure how to proceed, but in reviewing the list of contractors on Angie's List I found Zimax. They advertised what seemed like the skill-set I needed and they were local. I called them and they were able to respond quickly (1-2 hours). They immediately were able to diagnose the problem, cutting into the wall and finding the cold-water line that had failed. They summoned a plumber for me, who replaced the failed section of pipe. Unfortunately, the water had gone down and under the floor in my kitchen/dining area and into the master-bath that was on the other side of the wall. What then was required was to expose all of the areas that had been soaked and start a drying process. The soaked area proved to be quite extensive so quite a bit of my kitchen tile sub-floor, dining area sub-floor, and master bath tile sub-floor was very wet. Zimax had the equipment and expertise to effect the drying process, which took approximately 10 days. They also had all of the general contractor skills needed to restore all of those areas. This turned out to be quite a bit of work, since the damaged tile and hardwood flooring could not be matched, it all had to be replaced. Approximately four weeks was required to acquire the materials and accomplish the task. Considering the scale of the work, this was a not a slow pace. My goal was to get my house back to the condition it had been before the pipe failed. I can tell you that I hosted a Super Bowl party a few days ago and the guests who did not previously know that I had gone through this process did not notice any differences in my house until they were told what had happened. So, mission accomplished thanks to Zimax. I have found Zimax to be all that they say they are. They are responsive to the customer's needs and deliver what they sign up for. I would not hesitate to hire then again for any general contracting task. And it is good to know that they have the emergency response skills set if I ever need it again. Dave Bradley
Recent Review: A to Z was absolutely phenomenal to us with our extensive water damage. They are not listed as an emergency plumber on Angie's list, so at 6am on a Saturday after we woke up to flooded rooms and bathroom we had to call another plumber on Angie's list to come stop the leak. Their plumbing work was fine, but they were expensive and we felt like they were trying to squeeze as much money out of us as possible, especially since this was considered a "black water" leak. On Sunday we called A to Z and they had Kenny out there the next morning. We had a quote in hand by end of day that was 25% less than the estimate provided by the other company and they began remediation the following day. We really felt like we were given fast and exceptional service at an honest price. A to Z will definitely be the first company we call for all our plumbing needs in the future. Thank you Brandon, Kenny and Preston!
