Business Description: We manufacture Advanced Energy Panels (AEPs). AEPs are a retrofit for historic windows or any window people can't afford or don’t wish to replace. AEPs are interior window insulating panels and can be installed in any building –office, home or industrial. AEPs have a higher insulation and air sealing rating and provide greater comfort than most replacement windows, yet they are a fraction of the cost. AEPs are custom made to fit over existing openings, protecting, preserving and improving your existing windows.
Recent Review: They're excellent but they're very expensive and I think because the cost is high. They have years of experience and so they know what they were doing. They're reliable and they show up on time. They did a good job and they're very competent. They gave us privacy and made the place well. If they have light shutters then I would recommend them.
Recent Review: Bill went above and beyond in explaining what needed to be done, how it was going to be done, and how it would affect my heating and cooling as well as my energy bill. Bill answered all my questions as well as explained everything in detail. Whenever I do any type of home-improvement, I research 3 to 4 companies/contractors... Today's Energy Store went above and beyond, and I would definitely use them again.
Recent Review: The work was not done. The only report on this company was one someone did with research only. There was no mention that the company was in Utah. That is not very reliable as noted above.
Energy audit of windows, exterior doors, air conditioning/heating units, ducts and insulation throughout the entire house, lighting, toilets/baths water use, and water heater. An infrared devise was used to check for insulation coverage in the walls and ceiling. A blower was used to establish leakage in the heating/air conditioning ducts (leakage 12%). The blower door test also established the whole house air leakage around electrical outlets, windows, plumbing, etc.

I called them based on their Angie?s List reports because I wanted to get some insulating done before the end of the year. We were able to schedule an appointment for an energy audit a few days out. They tested my ductwork for leakage, which turned out to be minimal, tested all gas appliances for carbon monoxide output, which was also minimal. They ran the blower door test to test how tight the house was (windows, doors, etc.), which also turned out to be within the normal range. Matt came back a few days later with all the results and proposed some more insulation in the attic and gave me a bid on insulating my garage walls, both of which I wanted to do. He also proposed a spray-on radiant barrier to cut down on attic heat from the summer sun, and explained all of the rebates available through energy companies, the city, the state, and the federal governments. We also discussed solar electric panels with regard to cost, rebates, payback, sizes, etc. I had them install the insulation and the radiant barrier (James and Allyn were my technicians), but I?m still thinking about the solar electrical panels, as the Nevada Energy rebates for the year have been fully claimed.

AG&R Insulation Contracting
Chris came out to evaluate and estimate the amount of insulation needed. On installation day, Eduardo and Bernardo arrived on time. Eduardo explained what they would be doing and they got to work. The whole job was done in 3 hours, including a thorough clean up. We were very pleased with the job and with the pleasantness and professionalism of Eduardo and Bernardo. We definitely recommend G&R Insulation to anyone who needs insulation done on their home.

Went well and would suggest you get in writing how many inches of insulation is blown in as expected thicker coverage but cannot complain from what I see and not sure what is considered adequate. Would recommend them.

The price was good. They had a machine that kept breaking and wasn't working right. The kept having problems with the radiant barrier. He's a good guy, good to work with and prompt. They did a good job with the fiber glass insulation. He said he normally does more commercial work, I probably wouldn't use them again.

If they were truly a company that specializes in energy efficiency auditing, they would have noticed that we have aluminum windows instead of vinyl. They didn't notice it or say anything about it. They got us up to date on a lot of things but they really are just an insulation company and not up to par with the eco friendly companies yet. They did good work but feel they weren't completely honest about what they specialize in.

They were very good. I got them from the home show. They did a more expensive job for a good price than most of the other places. They go up my attic and patch the duct work and do the tubing for air-conditioning and things that other companies don't do. They did what they said they would and they were good. I have a same exact house which is two doors away that I use as rentals and the air conditioning out there goes off constantly, and I called them and got it fixed. Now, my electric bill is lowered and it feels a lot cooler in there and it is a lot cooler in my house. They give me a good price and I got a rebate. I paid $900 after the rebate that I got. They are no less than retail but they are reasonable. I’m going to use them again in the future.

They arrived early, covered the floor with plastic, went into the attic and covered the area surrounding the opening, brought in the tubing and added insulation in the areas requested in the proposal. The work was done in a timely manner and they left the area in the condition it was in when they arrived.

When they arrived, her two attic hatches were blocked with batt insulation. They cleared the obstruction and inspected the attic. To our surprise, there was over a foot of celluose insulation present. They told us she didn't need any more. When asked if radiant barrier was a good idea, they told us that it wouldn't really make an impact since she already had such good insulation. How about that? A company that REFUSES to sell you something you asked about, but don't actually need! Before they left, the two guys raked it out, placed dams around both attic hatches and properly insulated the backs of the hatches with foam board. They spent over an hour, but only charged me $100! They were honest, on time and a huge pleasure to do business with.
