Recent Review: I just purchased a really old home, from 1934. There was a lot of challenges thrown their way but, they did a great job and I love how everything came out. Matt gave great advice, while picking out tile, new tub and things for the bathroom. Everything came out looking great. He found a good deal on a really nice window and I believe the price for everything was fair.

Home Masters
Recent Review: Ok, so ill start out with the bad new first, because it isn't anywhere near the good but, bad news is always better to take at the beginning. My first instinct was to find the right contractor to utilize because we all know in Vegas there are alot of "pretenders" and scam artists who claim they can fix or do anything. I came across Home Masters on the internet and liked the pictures on the gallery, so i decided to give them a call. Long story short I spoke with John (one of the sales reps) and he was very professional and seemed to know what he was talking about. We set up an appointment and they were really fast to respond and give me an estimate..... Price was a little bit higher then normal, but i was assured by Mort (the owner) that his guys were the best and even though it might be a little more, it would be done right with no exceptions.... So to the one and only bad part...... If you plan on ordering windows..... DO THEM YOUR SELF! It was such a pain relying on Home Masters to get something as simple as windows, even if it wasn't their fault and shipping was the issue, just get them yourselves and save your self the hassle. Anyways onto the good parts ( and there are many). First and foremost CJ (most amazing worker in our opinion) was so attentive to our needs. I can see why Home Masters hired him because he was on top of our contract like no other! Even if it was a simple question he was always in contact with his boss Shane (also pretty awesome but kind of a rule follower :/ ) CJ was always on time and worked so hard! We even had issues with some of the other workers that were part time or new and he fixed them right away. Hats off to him for all the changes and issues as well as my picky better half. The work was indeed 5STAR work and it came out beautifully as u can see in some of the pictures we posted for you. The vendors Shane brought in for the other parts of the job were very professional as well and completed tasks on schedule which was nice because remodeling can be very tedious at times if not organized properly. In conclusion these guys were in and out in 5-6 weeks doing a massive job that included a 200 square feet bathroom and part of my bedroom that included a split fireplace island which was fully tiled and finished with a metal edge. It was a big project and very exhausting but Home Masters is definitely up to the task at hand when you need top notch services! CJ great job, Mort also a solid business man and owner and Shane for keeping it all together. This review was a bit late as i was reminded of my promise to write on when they came back AGAIN to redo my laundry room and other bathroom upstairs! Ill keep everyone posted on the next project that get completed. P.S. REQUEST CJ... trust us hes awesome and does amazing work!

Recent Review: I can't say enough good things about this company.  Jason and Dave are great to work with.  Both of them are experienced, have great relationships with good vendors, and are just down-to-earth friendly to talk to. This was the first time we had ever worked with a general contractor on a project.  We were very inexperienced and needed a lot of help and guidance which they gladly gave.  I really appreciated the time they spent helping me to make design choices. They listened to our concerns and worked with us at every step.  They billed us fairly.   We enjoyed working with them and they really helped to make a stressful project less stressful.  The superintendent, Gary, was amazing.  He really made sure that things were done correctly and that the project moved forward.  We had him in our house managing the Tiburon crew and the subcontractors for about six (6) months.  During that time I felt like my house was safe, secure, and in good hands.  Gary made sure that the work was done as if it was his own home. He is equally down -to-earth and kind.  He was especially thoughtful with our kids and our dog.  I couldn't ask for a better project superintendent. As for the work, it is incredible.  The house looks great.  I can't believe what they were able to accomplish in our home.  We will use them any time we decide to continue improving our home and  we would recommend them to anyone who needed any project, large or small, in Las Vegas.

Team Tile & Stone
Recent Review: Both bathrooms were original to the house from the time it was built in 1987 and needed some much needed attention. When we moved into the house two weeks prior to the work being started we wouldn't even use the Master Bathroom because the sinks leaked underneath and the shower was just downright gross. Steve and his crew arrived on the day and time he said they would. They didn't waste any time in getting started and they respected us and our home. Everything was covered that could have possibly been damaged during the entire job, i.e. carpeting. By the end of the first day both rooms were completely gutted and then all of the other worked progressed very well. Steve allotted two weeks to complete the job and it took exactly two weeks. Steve and his crew were very easy to work with. Steve has a great personality and listened to what we wanted, and he offered several suggestions on other ideas, which we greatly appreciated since he's the expert. He's been remodeling bathrooms for over 30 years! Greg, his plumber, is great also. He does excellent work and will answer any questions you may have about what he's doing. Eddie is Steve's tile guy. When I say he's the best in the business I'm not exaggerating. The work he did in our rooms was astonishing. He didn't rush at all and every tile he laid he made sure it was to perfection. I can't say enough good things about Eddie. Luis is Steve's drywall guy. Another tradesman committed to excellence and hard work. One day he was here until 8PM to make sure the job was done to perfection, which it was. Another concept we liked about Team Tile and Stone is that none of the work is subbed-out. All work is accomplished by company employees, so there's no waiting around for a separate contractor to schedule. There's absolutely nothing bad I can say about Team Tile and Stone. Their commitment to a job well done is proven by the final product. You can't go wrong with Steve and his crew!

FHome Masters
This process began in February 2015, and didn't finish until February 2016 when I finally sold the home.  Tim, the designer, was great to work with.  He was the ONLY one out of the entire crew, including the owner, that was professional and responsive.  For people who don't know too much about building might think that they do a great job, but the corners cut and the shoddy lipstick job they did on my home is outrageous in my opinion!  Trade after trade that worked on my home said that the owner Mort was very difficult to work with.  I witnessed this first hand.  I was leaving for work and one of the workers asked me for a progress payment check.  I told them that according to the scope of work, that a payment wasn't due.  The documents drawn up by the company listed two different timelines for payment or installation, and the "company" followed whichever timeline they felt benefited them.  Mort (the owner) immediately called me at work demanding payment.  I told him that I would, but I was at work.  He then continued to pressure me on when I would have the check ready, and I told him possibly the following day.  He demanded I have it the same day raising his voice at me. He told he was no longer welcome in my home.  He isn't truthful, and will say anything to his benefit.  This project took a full year to complete (with all the delays and call backs to fix or finish items on the job), and like I said, a lot of corners were cut.  The main contractor Edgar never returned phone calls, and the workers were always called to other jobs and I never knew who was going to show up at the house because the faces changed constantly.  I don't think one crew member remained consistent the whole project.  It took almost two to three weeks to get the plumber to finish his portion of the job, and there were delays after delays.  Nothing that this company said they were going to do when I signed the contract actually happened, and after you sign you are at their mercy.  I had so many personal items ruined because they failed to properly drape and contain the drywall dust.  It was everywhere in layers!  I was told every Friday they would re-contain the area and clean, and that never happened. When I asked who was going to clean it up, no one took responsibility.  I finally complained so much that they told me to have cleaners come in and they would take $200.00 off my final bill.  Keep in mind that my home was almost 4000 sq ft, and $200.00 was all they would kick in to have it cleaned from their laziness.  So I take the $200.00 off the final bill as I am told by Edgar, and Mort has a fit!  I really pity anyone who uses this company.  For those that are happy with them, you are very lucky.  My 6 week remodel job took from March till August when I wrote the last check.  6 weeks turned into 6 months!  Bare in mind that I wrote my first check to them in February 2015, and they finished the last items in February 2016!  All I have to say is that I regret ever hiring them for my job, and I will never ever recommend them for any job regardless of size or rating folks give them.  Beware of this company at all costs if you decide to choose them to do a job for you!

THE WORST SERVICE FROM BEGINNING TO END! DID NOT COMPLETE JOB AND OVERCHARGED! Don't Hire This Guy!  Arrived Late, No courtesy call. Walks up to my house & starts kicking at the front access pipe. Very disrespectful of people's time AND property, (first impression). Without any explanation, says he needs to rod drain from the toilet. That removing the toilet would cost me $150. Demeanor was hostile but I needed more information. Asked him to tell me and specifically show me why. Front Access Pipe was loose and possibly broken(Perhaps he shouldn't have kicked at it then, just a thought)  Agreed to the extra cost.  RIPS my toilet off the drain or at least thats what it sounded like! Was horrified! Starts violently rodding drain. I provided towels to use with clean-up. Had kicked them aside. Got Sewage water and waste all over my bathroom floor while violently jamming the drain rod down the pipe. Proceeded to track waste water throughout my house when exiting and entering, slamming my front door every time in the process! (MY NEIGHBORS CAME AND CHECKED ON ME IT WAS SO LOUD! IT SCARED THEM!)  I too had genuinely become scared of this guy. Although rough around the edges, to say the least, I figured he would get the job done. FAIL! He was unable clear the blockage. Said it would be another $90 bucks to use a longer rod with Blades on the end to help cut through the blockage. I agreed, the toilet was already off so I figured why not. So he proceeded to make an even bigger mess! Sewer water everywhere, Staining My Grout! My Off-White, Sealed Grout! Finally comes out of my bathroom with sad face & explains that he wasn't able to clear the blockage. His guess was that it was a broken pipe. My guess was that HE probably busted the pipe with his unnecessary use of force.  He very graciously offered to charge me only $75 bucks, cash only.   OVERCHARGING ME $75 dollars for services not rendered! What a guy! While I was getting the money it got even worse! Asks me if I had a boyfriend, if it was just me alone living in the house; basically the most inappropriate small talk ever! I paid him, if only to just get him out of my house!! Once he left and I locked my door I went into my bathroom. Sewage everywhere, toilet paper and debris that had been pulled out of the drain in clumps all over the floor. He took my toilet flange with him including the fittings, My guess is that he either broke it off and disposed of it or he took it to use as material for his next job. Either way, shady. To top it all off, HE BROKE 2 TILES IN MY BATHROOM! I had just had it re-tiled too. Called him and he denied breaking the tiles and was SUPER RUDE to me. Said the tiles were not his problem nor was the mess he left.   Im not sure what this guys problem was. He walks in late and gives me attitude. Makes a complete mess of my house and damages property in the process. I just couldn't believe it!  It was only later that I realized he didn't even provide me the Free Televising that came with the Angie's List Deal! Hired         and they cleared the blockage. Bought a new toilet flange and put the toilet back on myself. Dug up around valve opening and fixed my Front Access Pipe, myself. Turns out it just needed a new rubber coupling. For $175 I learned a very hard lesson. That just because it's an Angie's List Deal, it doesn't mean you won't be exposing yourself to horiible service and an even more horrible person. If I end up dead or missing you can find my killer on Angie's List. Thanks Angie
