Based on the positive reviews I read on Angie's list and the meeting I had with Carlos, the owner, I selected Silverstate Painting. The work, which was being done to prepare the house for sale, consisted of painting the exterior and interior. The painting team consisted of two painters who are relatives of the owner. All members of the team communicated frequently, effectively, and respectfully and were very pleasant to work with. The work was completed on time and neatly. There were no paint drips, lumps, etc. They cleaned up the work area each day as required. They prepared the areas with lots of plastic . New carpet had just been installed and no paint dropped on the carpet. The exterior work consisted of repairing stucco and painting the walls, trim, and fascias of a 1 story 2250 square foot house, which had not been painted in 17 years. My main concern was the stucco being repaired so the repair would not be noticeable. Another challlenge was that the HOA requires the original colors be used but the HOA had no records of what those colors were. The local paint stores did not have accurate records, either. Carlos worked patiently to determine the correct colors. After 2 tries, the colors came out beautiful. The stucco repairs are not noticeable and the house looks great. The interior of the house had a challenge with door trim which had water damage. The team removed the entire door trim and replaced it. They did a perfect job. The walls had been painted 3 years previously and did not have any drywall damage or nail holes. They just needed some freshening. To save money, the walls were painted in the same light cream as previously with 1 coat. The doors, woodwork, walls and some ceilings were painted. I was pleased with the way it turned out. The interior, also, looks beautiful. I received 3 quotes for the work and am very glad I chose Silverstate Painting. I am happy Carlos was able to quickly fit this work into his schedule. I plan to hire him again next year for another house I own. The cost of service included labor, paint, and the replacement wooden door trim. Thank you, Carlos, and team.
