PLANT WORLD NURSERY
Recent Review: My husband and I, new to Las Vegas and the plants that thrive in this climate, were helped at the nursery in selecting the plants. When they arrived, Joe knew that we had not taken into account change of the height of the summer sun and told us 2 of the plants would not survive. He suggested another plant choice. He was extremely friendly and informative. The removal of the dead plants, planting of our new plants and the repair/realignment of the irrigation system was quick and thorough.

Recent Review: Land View was one of the easiest companies I have ever worked with. Mike Lawerence listened to what I wanted to create in my back yard, and he had a concept drawing to me within days. He worked with me to refine the plan and gave me a proposal within another few days. Mike always returned calls promptly and was more then willing to let me change the design as we went along....we were changing plant material out even after it was on location! Mike never became frustrated with me being so picky, he just wanted to do whatever it took to make me happy. And happy I am! Neighbors have asked if they can take pictures of my yard so they will have ideas for when they redo their backyards. I love, love, love my new backyard! If use use Mike from Lands View you won't be disappointed

Recent Review: Mauri started work on a Wednesday morning @ 7:30 and finished that Friday @ 3:00 pm. Patio cover was installed a week or so later on Saturday morning. It was phenomenal how fast and perfect the job went. It was as if I stepped into somebody's else's yard. No trash, no complaints, no blaring music or horsing around. My property was left clean and no surprises when it came time to pay the bill. Inspection was scheduled 2 weeks later, went over watering, answered a couple of questions, notation made on 1 plant and was given personal booklet with sub sign-offs and plant information. All details Mauri explained during consultation were completed.

Called 1st call svcs to make an appointment to hand curtains. The appointment was for 8:00 A.M. I called them about 8:30 to ask about my appointment. He informed me they were behind and would be over in a couple of hours. When they arrived, they completed the job very well. Then I asked them if they fixed fountains and yard lights. They said yes so I made another appointment for the following Thursday at 8:00 A.M. Once again had to call them to ask if they were going to keep the appointment? Informed me they were running late and would call me when on their way. Next about 2:00 that afternoon called them for an update? Mr. Warburton informed me still not done at the other job. Told me he would call later to sit up another time. NO call again. So Friday Morning called him again. Told me this time would be done at the same job in a couple of hours and would call when done. This time I said if cannot give me a time then never mind. Told me OK and hung up and even a pretend sorry.  # The quality of work was great for the hanging of the curtains. This made me want to use Mr. Warburton again. But his ability to keep an appointment and to work with me so I did not have to keep waiting for him for two days was horrible. So now I back to trying to find someone reliable to fix a yard fountain and lights.  # I would advise Mr. Warburton to not make appointments he cannot keep. Or at least communicate in a reliable way to his customers.  # I was looking forward to having him and his crew come back to my house. But could not keep waiting for him to not show up.  # The hanging of the curtain work was an A. I am sure his work is great. The rest needs to improved.

Mark and his crew from Living Water did a SUPERB job. We had Living Water demolish a previously installed fountain from another landscape company. Mark took on this job with a great attitude and the determination to do this job right. It was not a small task! He designed and installed a new water feature with surrounding landscape that is beautiful. Mark did what he said and even exceeded our expectations! We also had him add some additional plants, check the irrigation and drainage issues. Living Water did an excellent job in all areas. Mark stayed in touch with me regarding the schedule and any changes. He and his team are very professional, pay attention to all the details and are very customer focused. Thank you for our backyard paradise!

From day one after we gave Mark from LWL&G our rough drawing he kept us in the loop till he came out with a complete Professional Design of how we imagined our yard would look like when completed. The landscaping design was absoulutely amazing,it was our ideas but made 100 times better."LWL&G NAILED IT ".Now all we had to do was choose, the type of pavers and pattern for the ground, type of stone for the wall and water feature, color of the Led for the waterfall and types of bushes, shrubs, and plants we wanted installed.Mark had a folder with all the types of plants, pavers, water feature sizes and colors to choose from which made our task so much easier. We saw Mark from LWL&G one more time in person to see if their would be any other changes to the final design prior to installation. We ask to change a couple of plants and flowers at the last minute to which LWL&G was very receptive to with no change to the original estimate. This was an extremely cold December and January but when the crew of about 8 workers plus a foreman came out they jumped right in working like a well oiled machine and had it completed in less than 5 working days.Mark came out a couple times to review the work with his foreman to make sure we got what was expected in quality and service.NOTE: LWL&G MIGHT NOT BE THE CHEAPEST ,I can't say one way or the other, their policy is to install what you requested that's all. It's like buying a car from a dealership, one might quote you $15,000 for a car that might go for $14,900 down the street the difference is the quality of the service and honesty. The other landscapers we contacted were so unprofessional , so lazy that they would'nt even come up with a drawing of the design, they actually wanted me to go and get the pavers ,fountain, plants, flowers and extenstion cord ( extension cord was to be buried in the dirt for the fountain) from the local gardening shop. We lost 9 plants due to the extended freeze and we knew it was'nt LWL&G fault but their warranty stated they would cover them for 90 days, sure enough when I called to request replacement of the damaged plants Mark said he would come out and inspect them and replace them as needed. All 9 plants were installed at no charge, they also moved the electrical outlet behind the fountain lower because you could see it from the living room windows. Additional note: I can't thank Keith Howard Operations Mgr. enough for coming out and replacing all the dead plants, replacing the electrical outlet box and lowering it so it was'nt visable from any windows, cleaning and sealing all the pavers for us. EXCELENT,EXCELLENT SERVICE, LOVE THE BACK YARD !!!!!!!

Well, he just looked at the faucet, said it needed replaced, and moved on. he never tried to fix it at all. I will have to fix it, or replace it. I think he was way too big to get under our sink, anyhow! He did fix a couple small electrical issues on my back patio, and they are fine. What he did bad was rewire a switch, and move a wire to a water fountain that we had moved. I had it all laid out for him, and the main thing he had to do was fish the wire, which he did not do! My wife was home, but not me; so I did not see how he did till I got home. It is not good. He did not fish the electric wire down the wall to the switch; he just taped two wires together. It looks terrible, and I will have to redo the whole job. Since he cut the wire, it will not run the whole way, so I will have to buy more wire, and start all over. The electric work is something I could have done. But since he was here, and didn't fix the faucet, I figured we'd use him to do the electric work. That was a mistake! I would not recommend him to anyone!

We first met the folks at Living Water at a Home Show at Cashman Center when we first moved to Las Vegas. We had bought a nice home that had a pool but absolutely no landscaping.  We knew the magnitude of the work was large so we divided it into phases. The first phase included the side yard and the backyard.  We got three bids and Living Water was tied for the lowest bid.  We sat down with Mark at Living Water and discussed his design concepts with regard to us eof existing plants. bed shape, selection of lawn materials and hardscape materials.  Mark convinced us that some of our original wants would not integrate well with the pool. He went through several rounds of revisions to create just the atmosphere we wanted.  Living Water was more than happy to help provide the drawings and pictures i needed to get HOA approval of the project. When we awarded the Phase I work to Living Water, I told them that I was a stickler for schedules and needed to know what time his crews would arrive and leave and how much work they would complete each week. They gladly provided a schedule and his crews were always here at least as long as promised if not longer.  Their hardscaping work was a work of artful beauty as they created an internal design within the paver side on the walkways.  Throughout the job they communicated clearly and quickly when unanticipated issues arose.  Unlike so many contractors, they did not try to use these issues to ncrease their price dramatically. When finished the back yard was transformed from a barren desert to a paradise that we spent much of our time in. Given the success with our Phase I work with Living Water, we asked them for a sole quote on the front yard but did not tell them they were not bidding other companies.  By this time we had an idea of what the value of the work should be and felt that the excellent craftsmanship that Living Water provided could not be guaranteed with another company. Living Water came in below our budget and we awarded them the job.  Again they provided a schedule which the consistently met.  Working in the front yard for the Phase II work, they consistently met the requirements of my HOA not to place landscaping materials on the street and to leave it always clean.. Once again they displayed the artistic nature of their people with the magnificent patterns they built into the Travertine tile.  When the project was complete my front yard was transformed from the run of the mill builder grade landscaping to the nicest yard in the subdivision.   The Phase III work was small by comparison to the first two phases. But the Living Water crews still showed the same detail to providing a top quality product. Our home is at the entrance of the neighborhood and we have constantly had residents and guests stop and ask us who did our landscaping.  We are more than happy to give these folks the name of Living Water. We have recently bought a home in Texas and one of my biggest regrets is that I cannot take the Living Water crews with me to Texas to landscape that property.
