MARK JACOBSON ELECTRIC
Recent Review: Mark was both professional and responsive. He returned phone calls and e-mails promptly. Mark was able to start the work within a week, and completed the upgrade job in 2 days for $1500, including the circuit breaker box, breakers, an outdoor meter pedestal, new grounding rods, etc. I was in the process of putting together a woodworking shop in the basement (which was the reason for the upgrade in service), so Mark had to work around a lot of obstructions (clutter), which he did without complaint. We then discussed my longer range plans regarding outlets for shop machinery, etc., which Mark agreed to do as a time/materials job. This worked out well for me as I already had a lot of the materials on hand. He also let me help by boring holes and pulling wires in order to keep the cost down. He suggested that we put in a sub-panel for the shop and run the shop circuits from there. He also came up with an innovative way to run the wires to the sub-panel. Mark provided the sub-panel, outlets, and some other parts, and with his labor (and mine), that portion of the job came in at around $1450. All in all, I had an excellent experience working with Mark, would recommend him to friends, and will be my first call for any electrical needs I have in the future.

Rick's Lawn & Landscaping Inc
Recent Review: Everything went even  smoother than I had expected. After dealing with 3 other contractors I had become sceptical of all landscaping contractors. After only a few minutes with Rick I knew that I had stumbled onto a gold mine. His staff were the most polite and acommidating guys that I have ever encountered. Never did they once act as though they wished that I would get my ("stuff together). They worked at lightning speed but were so methodical about it, I could tell that this was not their first rodeo. Always punctual and willing to stay overtime. I heard Rick tell his guys that it was time to "rap it up for the day". Their response was "why"? I was impressed. What a great bunch of guys. Rick really knows how to pick them. Although Rick's estimate was the highest that I got from a total of 4 contractors, I knew he was the guy to do business with. Money well spent. Since the job was completed I have had neighbors actually walk to my home and compliment the way my home now looks. I see vehicles passing our home so slowly to get a good look at the work that was done. My wife was so excited about the end product that she took pictures to her office (Dental) and actually had, not only staff asking for his buisness card, but patients also. I am a 100% disabled veteran and after all was done I had a great sence of gratitude that there are still people that care about QUALITY and not so much QUANTITY. Rick will be coming back in about 2 weeks to check on the plants, shrubs and tree to make sure there are no problems. He is not afraid to guarentee his work. He is on site most of the time, except when he needs to fetch some of the products, but always clues the staff in on what needs to be done before he returns. And they can handle it. My home was left as clean as they found it at the end of each work day. I am proud to say that I no longer feel like a squatter in a forclosed home and my neighbors no longer have an eyesore to look at and I am sure that they appreciate that this just brought the value of their homes up....as well as mine. Thanks Rick and thanks to your staff. You will certainly be talked about for some time to come. Not only by me, but my neighbors as well.

It went fabulous.  Julian was very professional in every aspect of the work. He said he will return to remove and install a vanity light fixture at a reduce cost. At this typing I forgot what the cost was but it was affordable and I agreed to set an appointment for January.
