Ray is a great salesperson, spends time with you, shows you different spas, Patient, No pressure. Shame as soon as the deal is done, everything drops from there. I purchased a Used spa, with a new cover, a new touch screen stereo, The works. Paid in full, and was excited to have a new spa to replace my leaky old spa. A week later, I got a phone call from the store to set up a delivery date, I explained the place were the spa was going, and the complexities of the install into my gazebo The agent, said she would call back after she talks to the crane company. Four days then go by, without a return call, So I call Ray, leave a message asking about the install.. No return call... no nothing... I email Ray, again crickets... After a WEEK I get a call with an install date. Installation: The installers were great, This was a tricky install slipping the hot tub between my house and into the gazebo, they, and the crane operator did a great job. When they were done, I asked why they did not re-hook up the power? They said "we don't do that, you have to call an electrician" WHAT? It would have been nice if SOMEONE told me this BEFORE the install, Not only was it an additional expense, of $250 for the electrician to basically connect 6 wires. I also noticed that they brought a temporary cover -- they said my cover was on back-order AGAIN, would have been nice to know... But the worst thing was When I went to check The Model # to get the right manual for the spa, the Model # / Serial # / Production Date had ALL been chemically removed.. Just the Plate was left (I have pictures) Also the radio in the spa was an 9 year old stock radio that came with the spa. I called ray to inquire about the inconsistencies, and never got a return call. I called the Customer support and was told she "will check the paperwork and get back to me" but never called again. -- Several days, Several calls, Several emails All ignored, The electrician shows and connects the spa, and one of the motors where defective (youtube.com/watch?v=_N9X…) I again Called and left messages, and got a call back from someone they would send a tech to replace the motor. The tech came a day later and replaced the motor. I gave the tech a letter to leave on ray's desk, Telling ray that unless I hear from him, I will dispute the charge Friday. This letter was ignored till 4:57 PM on Friday, where ray called me saying he was on vacation for a week (this was happening over a two week time frame) and gave me a half dozen excuses. why he didn't reply to any of my emails or phone calls. I told him to take back the spa, I could NOT do business with this person. I disputed the charge, they came and took the spa away. PS: After seeing my review Ray the owner started calling me in the evening, and bandied such words as “Slander” and “Ruining my good reputation” I told him that I would be happy to argue with him in court.
