The guys showed up on time each day. Very professional right from the beginning. I called just for a drywall estimate but they said they could do my entire remodel/restoration job. All of the work looks amazing and they had a lot of ideas for different ways to do things. They gave me several options based on style we wanted, scale of work and budget we wanted to spend. Will hire again.

He came for an estimate. He said that since it's a small job that it would be better to pay per hour. I expressed that I was uncomfortable with this because he didn't have an estimated amount of time. He told me that project wouldn't cost more than $300. He told us to purchase the materials. I asked him about the brackets, and he told me to pick those out also. When I asked for feedback about, he told me to decide on those myself. When he look at the brackets I purchased, he didn't think the brackets would work. We went to pick out new brackets and get another piece of wood. It took him an hour pick out a piece of wood. While he worked, he didn't clean up well. It took him a long time, and I planned to give him an extra $100 for his additional time. However, he ended up asking for $600. I reminded him about our agreement and told him I planned on giving him an extra $100. We called it quits at that point, so he never finished the crown molding on the cabinets.

I started dealing with Primera Interiors in March 2013. I had a simple request, I just wanted to buy some molding (and light rail) for my kitchen cabinets and they were the distributors in LV.  I originally contacted the cabinet manufacturer for a distributor and they gave me an individual?s name at Primera Interiors to contact.  I contacted that person via email at Primera and he gave me a salesman?s name and said to contact him.  So I did.  I emailed the salesman and I explained to him I wanted to buy some crown molding rail for my cabinets and I wasn?t in a rush, didn?t need the molding until May, but I did want to know what my options were and get some pricing.  When I realized some time had gone by and I didn?t hear anything, I emailed the first individual again and asked if there was someone else who could help me.  He didn't reply, but the salesman did the next day.    The salesman said he?ll send me some info.  Well since I was in no hurry I didn?t mind the back and forth with email, and we went BACK AND FORTH with the email.  And I did speak to him several times.  But it was always me having to call him back or email him back asking questions.  As I said, I wasn't technically in a hurry and I figured they were busy, so I let it go that it was taking this long. I finally got some definite pricing (after getting two different quotes because he made an error) and I went into their office to meet with the salesman to order it.  On May 17th!!  A bit later than I wanted to get it ordered  since I was hoping to have it the middle of May, but there wasn't an absolute deadline on my end.  I was told it would take about 3 weeks to get in.  I waited and didn?t hear anything back. I started calling/emailing about 4 weeks after I ordered it and then I started getting the run around about the order not coming in, then it was misplaced, then the salesman had to ask another employee to find it and then another one and a round and round we went. Finally, on July 8th, I was fed up and went into their office and sat and waited 45 MINUTES to talk to the Operations Manager, Mr. Hood, about the situation.  Nobody knew what happened to my order but said he would look into it.  A warehouse employee was present for that conversation and told me he would check again as well and call me the next day.  Mr. Hood did offer me different molding that they had currently had in stock, but it was not to my liking and I chose not to accept that.  Also during my conversation with Mr. Hood it was learned that the price I was given for installation was hundreds of dollars more than it probably should have been.  Granted, Mr. Hood didn't know much about my kitchen, but could tell based on my order, that it wasn't a huge kitchen and guesstimated on the install. Mr. Hood said it would cost approximately $150 to install; the salesman quoted me $500.  (I originally decided to only purchase the molding and have it installed by someone else because the price I was quoted was way too high!)  So needless to say I was quite disappointed to hear how much less it should have actually cost me.  Mr. Hood had no explanation for the high quote of install that the salesman gave me. Nor did he even ask me if I still wanted it installed by them (for the much lower price). After just over an hour at their office  Mr. Hood ensured me he would look into this and call me the next day.  The next day I followed up my conversation with Mr. Hood via email providing him the quotes I was given for purchase/installation AND a copy of my receipt.  I never heard back from him.  I did however hear from the warehouse person (a very nice guy, don?t know his name or I?d mention it here) later that day saying he found the molding, it was mislabeled.  I went that day to pick it up.  Interestingly enough everyone I had dealt with at Primera were gone when I went to pick it up.  You?d think one person would be there to apologize and/or even offer to get it in my vehicle.  I?m extremely disappointed over this whole process. The fact that the manager didn?t follow up properly shows lack of customer service. The salesman never followed up with me afterwards either.  As a matter of fact all I see was poor customer service by this company.  The only people who were what appeared to be genuinely concerned were the receptionist and the warehouse guy.  Another reason why this is frustrating and so disappointing for me is that I wanted to special order some additional cabinetry items through them, and now I have to find a distributor OUT OF STATE to do this because I won?t do business with them again.

I was disappointed. He was very professional and forthcoming about his prices and work. However, he charges $75 fee if work is not contracted (for time and expense). Unfortunately for this company, I will not "risk" the cost to have him give me an estimate when other contractors are willing to come out and give me a quote w/o charging me. In this economy, I don't think he can afford to charge this fee if it does not earn him any business (unless he's in the business of giving estimates). His fee eliminated him from consideration for this job.

Recent Review: His workers are over and above the call of duty. They are excellent. They came in here on time, did what they had to do, and cleaned up their mess before they left. They started the mess when they got back. It was constant work, work for a month and a half in my home. I have never seen anyone lay floor, and tile. It is superb. My neighbor came over to see it, and he said that the guys knew what they were doing. His name is Hector Manrique is the project director. They specialize in insurance work, bath remodeling, kitchen remodeling, windows, doors, trimming, drywall, paint, stucco, baseboards, and crown molding. One guy did it all. I am going to have them do my fireplace. They are already cutting the hole in the wall to put it in. They had to work around me and my schedule, they were very accommodating. They were trustworthy, because I had watches, TV, money, wedding rings, and not one thing taken away from me. Once I got use to them being here, I would leave them alone, and they took good care of my home.
