Recent Review: We recently purchased a home up in the NorthShores area of LV and the tiles appeared to be in pretty bad shape - namely, filthy dirty! Years and years of dit and dust build up I would guess. We had met Scott at the most recent LV home show where he explained how he and his team could breathe life into tile flooring. So we set up an appointment with him shortly before moving in so he could provide an estimate on the work. From the moment he walked in until he left, I cannot express how professional and courteous Scott is. No pressure whatsoever! He came in, took a look at our tile flooring (approximately 1000 square feet worth!), explained to us everything he would do, and asked us to choose one from a wide variety of grout sealant colors. He was extremely helpful in helping us decide on a color that would work perfectly with our tiles. He gave us a written estimate (with which we were very pleased with!) and we agreed to schedule a date for the work. On the scheduled date, Scott and his team showed up on time and got straight to work. Luckily, we did not have a lot of furniture to move around but we tried to get everything we could out of the way in preparation for their arrival to help them out. They started by cleaning the tiles and the grout with their special solutions and we immediately noticed the difference. They covered every square inch of tile and grout and I was already excited to see the life being restored to the flooring. But that wasn't even the best part! Once they aired out and ensured the tiles and grout were dry, they began applying the special sealant to the grout. Holy cow, the tiles just jumped out! I couldn't believe how much of a difference this made. I was so enthralled by everything they were doing that I actually hung out with them for 7 hours straight watching them do their magic and, of course, having great conversations with Scott (hope I wasn't a pain in the butt!). After they applied the sealant (living room, family room, kitchen, pantry, laundry room, bathroom, and coat closet), they aired everything out again and mopped the entire floor one more time. What a fantastic job they did. If your tile looks old and grungy, think twice before going out and getting them replaced. Scott will come in on your scheduled estimate date and give you a demonstration so you can see the improvement. He is totally and completely honest and if he feels that you would be better off replacing your tile, he will tell you. I highly recommend giving Grout Works a shot so they can show you what they can do to breathe new life into your tile flooring and grout. And just so you know the sealant truly works, we have a couple of small dogs who have had some bladder-related accidents on the tile flooring recently - their pee-pee came right up, leaving no stains behind! Anyways, seriously, give Scott a call if you need this type of work done - you will not be disappointed!!!
