We did a bathroom remodel to make our Master Bath disability accessible.  This included a wall mount sink and an accessible toilet area.  Eric was very professional and very helpful.  They worked continuous until the job was completed.  The workmanship was excellrnt.  The price was very reasonable.  We would definitely hire them again in the future.

AHandyman Services By Jeff
Excellent service!  Came out the same day I called him.  I really needed my garage door fixed the most as it was no longer going up and down.  He also fixed my 2 sliding closet doors that had come off the track after my disabled mom fell into them.  I also had a list of other things I need done.  He talked to me about the things I needed and I will schedule with him for the day to take care of items I've wanted to get done/replaced/repaired but never had the time.  Finally, a handyman I can trust!

ACommitted Companies
I got the list from VA because I'm a disabled Vet. They had a list, so I went off of that. They didn't charge me anything. The VA paid for it all. I know that the estimate was $6110. If someone asked me about them I'd say, "Use them" especially if I base it on three other contractors that came to do the measurements and give me a bid. The others wouldn't do what I needed. They even refused to put shower doors/sliding doors on it, because it would cost more. The VA allows you $6800 for something like that. They bid the full $6800, but they didn't include a shower door. They said, "Use the curtain and if you want a shower door then what you do after we leave is up to you." Then Committed in. The guy's name was Mike. He did the job all by himself. He was very professional when he came in to do the estimate and he was professional while he was doing the job. There was a 3 foot folding bench that was supposed to be installed. This should have taken 4 or 5 days but it wound up taking like 3 weeks simply because the bench came in warped, the framework. So he drilled all the holes on the template and then they didn't fit. Now, it was 5 tiles, 12 x 12 tiles. So they have drilled holes in them. I highly suspected if it was one of those other companies they would have filled it with caulk and called it good. But he sent the bench back, came back out, removed the tiles that he did and the mortar and he reset new tiles. So he orders another one. The same thing. Most of the time that it took during those 3 weeks was waiting on the bench to come in. He did that twice now. He removed the tiles again because he didn't want any holes in it. Finally I told him, "They make a 13 inch one. Why don't we just put one of those in there instead of a 3 foot one?" because that really took up most of the shower. He said, "Okay" and he got a 13 inch one, had it in in a day and it was done. He worked late hours. He was always around at dinner time and I don't wait on dinner. We always had him for dinner, the whole time. So that says something in itself. He did an excellent job. He even left me with extra tiles and grout sealer and all that kind of stuff. If I ever wanted to seal the grout again or if a tile broke or something that I would have matching tiles to put back in. Although if it was still under warranty then he would come out and do the job. They were very good, very professional, very informative and very nice. I'd use them again to do my counter tops. They went far beyond the call of duty as far as I'm concerned.

DJJ Handyman Services( jung chu)
Mr Chu came out and seemed very pleasant.  There were things he declined to do with which I agreed.  I'm both knowledgable and disabled or I would do everything myself.  His prices seem excessive for an area in decline and skills which are not rocket science.  To install a water softener for $400 or a ceiling fan for $80, jobs which require no more than 3 hours, yielding a per hour rate of $160 are way out of line.   I found communication to be a serious problem with Mr. Chu.  I will keep looking for a handyman.

ADesigner Kitchens & Baths
Barbara Turns from Designer Kitchen and Baths went above and beyond to help me with repairs to a leaking shower that was well past any normal warranty period. I mean way, way, way past a time frame that any other contractor would honor. When the shower started leaking through the wall a handyman had come in as a favor to me and quite honestly made a mess of things by ripping shower tiles, the shower surround, and a water damaged cabinet out. When he saw how involved repairs would be he suggested I call the original installer. It had been so many years since Designer Kitchen and Bath had completed the project I had not even considered calling them. Barbara came out and was so kind. I am a 100% disabled veteran on a very limited income. She only charged me the cost of whatever materials were needed for repair. The biggest cost being that the handyman damaged the shower surround when he took them out and I needed a new glass surround. Labor was free on both the shower and the repair/re-installation of the adjoining side wood cabinet. This saved me thousands. Barbara also sent her repairmen to help me with other issues in the house at a very reasonable cost. I am so thankful that she came to my aid when my chips were down. Designer Kitchen and Bath gets an A++++++++ rating from me.

AJ & L Construction
I am a seventy-three year old disabled retiree and needed a bathing system that was handicap accessible. I'd seen TV commercials from those national companies and talked to a couple of their reps but the estimates I received were ridiculously high and did not cover other work I wanted done (new vanity, toilet relocation, rewiring etc.)   I had met Luis Jones ( owner/operator)  when I took advantage of an Angie's list deal a couple of years ago to check out our cooling system. When I saw another deal from his company for a bathroom remodel I called him and he met my wife and myself at our home and we discussed my special needs.  He understood handicapped accessible bathrooms and had several suggestions we had not thought of. The end result was a completely retiled bathroom and an expanded showering system that met my needs perfectly. Luis was up-front from the beginning about the cost exceeding the allocated Angie's Deal amount. We worked it out together and I provided additional items and the whole job still cost half of what it would have had I  used the national companies. The final product is amazing. Architect Digest amazing.  The tile work and painting is exquisite. Jorge, the construction crew chief, did a marvelous job supervising the gang and they were all respectful and profesional throughout the job.

ARe-Bath of Las Vegas
Excellent.  Fairly expensive, but high quality.  Was told it would take up to 4 weeks to prepare product and schedule the install. It took 19 days.  Two very skilled workers and a supervisor came first day. Workmen removed old tub and surround. They paused at mid-morning while two licensed plumbers from a local plumbing firm came in and reloocated plumbing. Workers returned and installed "greenboard" moisture resistant underlayment and removed some concrete to re-set drain.  They then installed shower pan and drain, followed by cultured marble wall panels that they fine tuned in our driveway.  I am very familiar with building processes and witnessed all work.  They worked without break until 6:00 PM and returned next day to apply a second application of sealant, set threshold and install glass doors and second grab bar.  Job took a day and a half.  They cleaned up everything afterwards and even washed down the driveway.  They removed all debris. After reading complaints of the work of ReBath franchises in other parts of the country and in Reno, I was worried.  However, the ReBath Las Vegas franchise is held by an experienced local contractor that also has a local showroom. Work, except plumbing ,was done by their own experienced employees. This shower was installed for my partially disabled wife.  The workmen were very patient as they made sure the seat and grab bars were exactly the height and location that she wished.  She's happy, so I'm happy. I'm a very satisfied customer, who became concerned when investigating on-line after signing contract.  The product is a b it pricey but exactly what I expected.    Great install crew were: Reyes Enriquez and Martin Covarubias.

FLas Vegas Handyman & HVAC
I called to make an appointment with Pro-Handyman because they had a great rating on Angies List.  When making the appointment I asked was there a fee for just coming out?  No!  I asked if they charged by the hour?  No, they only charge you for the job / jobs they actually do.  I requested that they change my air filters, and caulk above the door frames where the door frame connects to the wall.  The receptionist said, "simply tell the handyman what you need done and he will charge you for what he actually does".  Joe arrived promptly, even a bit earlier than scheduled, he did call before arriving to let me know he was coming.  Once here I realized that he was not from Pro-Handyman but from Las Vegas Handyman.  The Handyman told me that Pro-Handyman and Las Vegas Handyman had joined together.  Joe's business card stated that he was a Senior Craftsman.  When he arrived I showed him where the air filters needed to go and then I pointed out the top of my bathroom door frame.  That's when Joe said, "All builders will only caulk what is seen...if there was a stairway that showed the top of the uncaulked door frame, then it would be caulked".  He would not caulk the top of the door frames as I requested.  Joe then just asked was there anything else?  While in the bathroom I asked him if we could put a door on the open linen closet.  He said that there was someone in his company that could maybe do the linen closet enclosure.  I took him out in the garage and asked if he could purchase 2 - 4 foot fluorescent lights and install them.  I have 2 outlets that I had wired on the ceiling of the garage so the lights could be mounted and simply plugged in.  Joe questioned me and ultimately checked to make sure that they were live and worked off one switch.  The outlets worked just fine.  He said that he would get estimates on the 2 fluorescent lights and call me later that day...I asked if he could do it then and he said no he had a busy day.  It has been three days and still no word.  While in the garage I asked about putting flexible trim on the walls surrounding the garage door to keep out the dust and dirt due to the garage door gap between the walls. Joe did give me a name of a garage door dealer.  Joe then brought in the ladder and changed my air filters (Which I had purchased).  I did request that he dust off the register and he did.  Although it seems like I took alot of his time... he was actually here only 15 - 20mins max.  Then the bill...the initial bill was for $71.00, then he gave me a 25% discount, so my actual amount due was $51.00 for changing my air filter.  I was very upset with Joe, his lack of professionalism, the total due, how he kept passing the buck so to speak to his fellow employees, and telling me that he has to go to his other clients.  I am a disabled veteran with a broken foot and I am unable to climb ladders whatsoever.  Every three months I will have to pay between $71 and $51 (depending on the handyman I get) to have my air filters changed???
