Recent Review: We were new pool owners and acquired an in ground pool that had several issues when we moved in. Diversified did an excellent job talking us through our options to bring the pool back up to operational state and evaluate what was the right approach for us - I truly felt like I was being told the pros and cons to each approach rather than just trying to be sold on something, and as a result we established trust. As a new pool owner, we had many, many questions, and everyone on the team has been more than accommodating to all of our needs and inquiries. They have been excellent at providing input to guide us through the major pool renovations as well as servicing of our pool this summer. We have been very pleased with their work - we would certainly recommend them to anyone looking for quality pool care.

Dickerson Pool & Spa
Recent Review: Gary Dickerson picked up the dropped ball that another pool company left us with.  Previous company not returning calls, etc.  Gary quickly came to look at our situation - needed to replace liner and open the pool - assessed the situation and moved forward right away.  He brought catalogs of liners to choose from,;we made our choice; he quickly placed the order for the liner, pumped out old water while waiting for liner; arranged for pool water truck to be on sight the day of liner installation;  everything went smoothly.  Gary was very professional, friendly, prompt - which we appreciated. especially after being put off by first pool company for most of the spring.  Also very patient with us first time pool owners - encouraging us to call with questions, etc. The pool looks beautiful!  We have only had it up and running a short time but it seems to be fine!  We will call on him twith questions as they arise, also to close the pool for the winter and will look forward to doing business with him in the future. Thanks Gary!

The Pool Shop Inc
Recent Review: I can't say enough about what a pleasure it was to work with The Pool Shop.  We had been without our pool all of 2014 because we got taken by a fly-by-night pool guy who removed our liner, took our money, and never finished the job.  (We gave up on this guy and are taking him to court.) This time we researched about a dozen pool companies through Angie's List and after talking with all of them and comparing proposals we decided to go with The Pool Shop.  Kim was an excellent resource through the entire process and was a big help.  Since the pool liner had been removed the year prior the pool bottom had been exposed to the elements and needed a lot of work to get it ready for a new liner.  Kim had her team come out in advance of having to put down a deposit to let us know exactly what it was we were looking at to get the pool floor prepped.  From the time we placed the order it took about 10 days for it to arrive and they had it installed on the exact same day they promised.  There were 3 installers on the job who were very professional and experienced, and did an excellent job.  It's been open for about 2 weeks now and we've had The Pool Shop out twice since for some minor issues with the pump system and both times they've been very responsive and out the next day.  An overall great experience and a great company to work with.  If you are looking for a new pool service company or aren't happy with your current pool service give The Pool Shop a call - you'll be glad you did.

Mudslingers Pool and Patio
Recent Review: I purchased a home that had a neglected in-ground pool. It needed a liner, and automatic pool-cover work. I called several vendors, none of whom would provide me with a quote; only a guesstimate and a verbal one at that. Mudslingers popped up during my internet search, so I called them. I spoke with Kim Harper and we set up an appointment. Kim showed up exactly on timethat afternoon, and gave me a quote and materials to look over. By that evening, I had a quote in writing with a written guarantee on my email. We set date and time, they showed up exactly on time and I am looking out at my gorgeous new pool!! EXCELLENT!!! Very highly recommend Mudslingers!!

THIS COMPANY IS FANTASTIC. PETE AND DIANE ARE A HUSBAND/WIFE TEAM AND REALLY UNDERSTAND CUSTOMER SERVICE. I HAD BEEN GIVEN 'CONFLICTING REPORTS' FROM A COUPLE OF POOL SERVICE COMPANIES TO REMEDY ISSUES I WAS HAVING WITH MY RECENTLY INHERITED POOL FROM A HOME PURCHASE LAST FALL. PETE WAS HONEST AND PROFESSIONAL WHILE DIANE GAVE EVERYONE A LESSON IN CUSTOMER SERVICE 101. PLUS, THEY BEAT THEIR COMPETITORS PRICES BY ALMOST $1000! THE LINER LOOKS GREAT, WAS INSTALLED PROMPTLY AND PROPERLY. PETE ALSO REMOVED MY AUTOMATIC COVER TO BE SENT OUT FOR SEWING REPAIRS AND QUICKLY BROUGHT IT BACK TO REINSTALL SO THE POOL WOULDN'T BE LEFT OPEN. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND DIVERSIFIED POOL PROS TO EVERYONE!

FMudslingers Pool and Patio
Went with Mudslingers as they were about $500 less than any other quote.  I should have known "you get what you pay for".  They called and told me they would be on site to replace the liner on a Friday, so the day before I rented a pump and pumped all water out of pool.  It was over two weeks and many, many calls before they showed up to replace the liner.  The install did not go well, as only one of the three had experience installing liners.  That was a statement they made when they arrived.  They were also to paint the coping around the pool, which they failed to do. I called multiple times asking to come out and finish the job, but they never did.   Then, a couple of weeks after the install I noticed the water level going down.  A visual inspection by myself found that a seam was splitting.  This is where even more problems began.  I call Mudslingers and was told there was nothing they could do until that had a leak detection company inspect.  I told them that you can plainly see that the seam is split and it needed replaced, but they would not come out to look.  They scheduled a leak detection company to come out which took over three weeks.  When the leak detection employee came out I showed him where the seam was split and he asked why they wasted his time to come out?  I agreed with him. Now that the leak was officially detected, it took Mudslingers more than two months to finally replace the liner. They promised numerous install dates and never showed up.  I called and spoke with the owner many times requesting they replace my liner as I was adding water daily to keep the water level up and the seam was splitting more and more.  He promised it would get taken care of, but they were constant no shows.  I finally went into the office, spoke to the owner in person about the replacement.  He just shrugged me off and told me they would get to it when they had an opportunity.  Very unprofessional. Once the crew finally showed up to replace the liner, it was another very unprofessional install.  Only two guys showed up and they didn't appear to have a lot of experience.  They scheduled the pool water fill person to show up at a certain time to fill the pool, and when he showed up on time they were nowhere near ready.  They actually asked the pool water fill guy to help with the install, which he did so he could speed up the process and not be delayed anymore.  It was well into the night before the job was finished and the pool was filled. As I stated before, they were also supposed to paint the coping around the pool, but I told them I didn't want them to touch the coping because I was afraid that they would do a very unprofessional job.  My first contact with Mudslingers was April 2013, it was June 2013 before the first liner was installed and August 2013 before the replacement liner was installed.  I went almost the entire summer and pool season of 2013 battling with Mudslingers to do a job they were hired and paid to do. UPDATE: ONGOING NEVER ENDING Pool Liner installed DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! This is how he handled our liner situation. He went as far to post on social media RIGHT AFTER HE SAID HE WOULD GIVE US A REFUND, BUT DIDN'T and said... "Do to unforeseen issues with pre-existing old pools we will no longer be doing liner replacements. That makes Latham Liners look bad because Kim Harper won't honor his mistake, which is the Company they use and that is the liner they put in our pool, they are losing money due to his decision not to replace old liners. DOES NOT MAKE SENSE! Our old liner was good it was just an outdated color, and we wanted a new one. UPDATE: THIS HAS BEEN ONGOING SINCE THE 2ND LINER INSTALL IN 2013. After they installed the 2nd liner it immediately began to wrinkle up. On the bottom and sides. I took pictures and sent to Courtney the Office Manager, and she sent me this email. "On Friday, October 4, 2013, office manager wrote: Kim and Brian both looked at the pictures and spoke to the service tech about it. They said that there are No wrinkles. With the coves in the corners, those will vary depending on water temperature and ground water. The liners are not attached to anything. They will consistently move and adjust themselves. Thanks PLEASE SEND CONFIRMATION EMAIL ON RECEIPT OF THIS EMAIL. Mud Slingers 5575 Elmwood Ave ste. D Indianapolis IN 46203 317-650-5131 www.mudslingersinc.com. They would not and still won't come out to look at the pool. The liner is barely 3 years old and it's an eye sore. I don't hesitate when people ask who did the work, they have a bad reputation because everyone knows someone who had a horrible experience with Mudslingers and Kim Harper. The wrinkles are everywhere and the ones on the side are huge. Kim Harper did not measure the pool dimensions properly and won't fix his mistake. He is not professional. He has left responses on others "bad reviews" and his responses were not nice!

STEVE AND DEBBIE SUTTON WERE WONDERFUL TO WORK WITH. STEVE WAS VERY METICULOUS IN MEASURING THE POOL TO ENSURE THE LINER ORDERED WOULD BE AN EXACT FIT. DEBBIE CHECKED WITH THE COMPANY TO SEE IF WE COULD GET NON-SLIP TREADS FOR THE STEPS AND OPTIONS AVAILABLE. AND SHE KEPT US INFORMED, EACH STEP OF THE WAY, AS TO WHEN THE LINER WOULD BE DELIVERED AND INSTALLED. THEY ARE A GREAT TEAM TO WORK WITH. THE CREW THAT WORKED TO PUT IN THE LINER WORKED HARD, DESPITE THE NEARLY 95 DEGREE HEAT THAT DAY. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY TO ANYONE LOOKING TO INSTALL A POOL OR NEW LINER. THEY TAKE PRIDE IN THEIR WORKMANSHIP AND ENSURING THE JOB IS DONE RIGHT.

Liner went great. Only problem was the liner came out of the track a couple of times and they were quick to come back and fix. Another problem I found was when I went to replace the pool light bulb , I didn't have as much cord as I used to have making it very difficult to get the light far enough out of the water to replace the bulb. I asked them to give me a price on replacing the light with a new low voltage light , but they haven't got back to me.
