THESE GUYS WERE SO GOOD, AND QUIET. DID THEIR BUSINESS, AND CLEANED UP THEIR MESS. I FELT SAFE WITH THEM IN THE HOUSE, I WOULD USE THEM AGAIN. I WOULD RECOMMEND THEM TO OTHERS. THERE WERE ONLY TWO OF THEM DOING THE WORK, AND THEY WERE REAL PROFESSIONAL AND ANSWERED ALL OF MY QUESTIONS.

We did not go with this company, but we almost did.  We ultimately decided to do the work ourselves and save some money.  We went in to price some cork flooring.  The prices were much more reasonable than I anticipated (equal to what I was finding through online sources).  They quoted me an install price which seemed very reasonable as well, in line with what the big box stores charge.  They had a very large selection of eco-friendly and nontoxic flooring.  I would definitely consider them in the future if we have a need.

AFLOORTECH
The price was reasonable. I had priced it and they were 30 to 40 percent less on the product. These people were very professional and they bent over backwards to help me with samples and coming out to measure. They even gave me ideas. They got the job done quickly and came back when I had some questions and issues with the floor. I had called them another time to see if they could get a different product for me on a different job because they had done such a great job before and I was asking them to find something that was pretty difficult to find and they were not really good at corresponding with me. If it is their cup of tea they are just exceptional. The staff is very professional and very friendly and they go out of their way to help out. It is a small business and everyone is very helpful. I would definitely use them again.

He does excellent work and is reasonable. He goes by hourly prices and charges a gas fee to come to the house, but it is reasonable.

ABlakley's Flooring
In the end I would say I was very satisfied with the final result. But it was a challenge getting there. We were unable to find transition moldings to match our new cork and existing hardwood floors. After shipping the wrong product twice and delays in getting the final correct product, things are finally completed and look great. Through out the process Julie Van Winkle was wonderful to work with and Blakley's made sure things were completed to our satisfaction. The flooring installation team was very knowledgeable and did excellent work. They also were sensitive to the fact that we have 2 toddlers running around. Our carpet installation project was ch alleging as well. It was not completed to our satisfaction at all, with crooked cuts, puckers, etc. But again Blakley's came back and made the situation right. We also had an area rug made that turned out great with NO Problems! Although we had problems Blakley's were very good at correcting the situation in a fairly timely manner.

CCustom Floors
We had water damage to our bamboo and cork flooring that Custom Floors had installed a couple of years ago. I called Custom Floors to get an estimate on repairs, and in the nearly two months that followed, found that they were not nearly as easy to work with as they had been when we had our floors installed. It consistently look multiple phone calls and voice mails to get a response, and then the response was typically that they would look into my inquiry and get back to me. I wouldn't hear from them until I called again. Eventually replacement planks were ordered, and some time after that I was informed that the flooring had arrived. Nearly two weeks later, after multiple calls, I find out that they had ordered 3/4and quot; bamboo planks instead of the engineered flooring that I needed, and that the engineered planks had been discontinued. Cindy suggested that I might be able to find my flooring on Lumber Liquidators, but a quick check revealed that the only tiger pattern (our colorway) that LL had were in boards that were half as wide as what we had had installed. At that point, Custom Floor's only suggestion was that we we replace all 1000 square feet of continuous bamboo flooring in our house, although less than 10% was damaged. I suggested several alternatives, including having the floors refinished. Cindy got back to me with the information that, although I had been told when I bought the floors that they could be refinished 4-5 times, in fact, because of the construction of the bamboo flooring, that was not possible. At this point, after months of having to be proactive and getting little in return, I voiced my concerns to Cindy and told her that I would like to pick up the cork boards that they did have in stock so that I could have someone else install them, and be refunded the difference between those boards and the 50% deposit I had put down. To my pleasant surprise, Cindy responded the next day with an apology, a refund, and an offer to deliver the cork flooring to our house to save us a trip. (Comically, I got a call that day from the woman who was delivering the cork to our house, and found that the woman had been given the wrong address for our house and was on the wrong side of town. Fortunately, we worked out the error and our flooring was not left in a stranger's driveway). While my experience with Custom Floors for this project has overall been very disappointing, I have upgraded my rating here from what it would otherwise have been, based on their response to my final email, which was, happily, beyond what I would have expected.

They did a great job. They assisted us with a water-leak we had and gave us some information on other companies that could help us. They were very timely with the estimates. They did everything they said they were going to do. The product was very eco-friendly.

Recent Review: Danny's crew did an excellent job and were very professional and polite.  Danny originally estimated the job to take two full days, but he brought extra men along and completed it the entire job in one day.  They cleaned up all of their materials before they left and Danny said I could call him anytime if I noticed any imperfections.  All the neighbors loved his work.

Recent Review: First of all Brian was the only contractor to really listen to what I wanted.  He offered up suggestions (like the EZE breeze windows) that I didn't know of, but always stuck with my  overall plan and vision.  We needed quality work without breaking the bank.  His estimate came in well below others simply because he listened to what I wanted and didn't try to sell me things I did not need.  The family room was covered in thin flimsy paneling and it was replaced with drywall.  A large sliding door and bay window with broken seals were replaced with 2 sets of double hung windows to match our existing windows.  Trim was built around to match the existing house.  Cork flooring was added and electrical and lighting added.  A p-tac unit was added where an existing (and non-functioning) air conditioner lived.   The room turned out beautifully and get compliments on how clean and inviting our new playroom is.  Our back porch was dirty, because of the screens which were broken as well as posts that were rotting.  CCG replaced the posts, built a knee wall, and added EZE breeze windows - non breakable windows that look like glass but are actually a flexible plastic.  The work is so clean, and the porch was tiled as well as a step added to enter the home.  A ceiling fan was added and the porch is now functional, clean, and very inviting!  Because of the windows, we are able to use the room for 3 seasons, yet saved thousands of dollars because we went with the window product that Brian recommended.  It was just what we needed with the kids and we love the room more and more each day.Our contractor, Mike was so professional and efficient and did the majority of the work (minus the tiling and electrical).  He was friendly to my kids and always checked in with me yet worked without disrupting our daily lives.  I appreciated his cleanliness and professionalism and his advice on some of the decisions along the way.  I was amazed at how quickly he worked!CCG was timely, efficient, and professional.  I always felt listened to, and I felt that the work was such high quality.  In the past with contractors, I felt intimidated, or felt like I was trying to be convinced of other "upgrades", but I didn't feel this way with Brian. They worked efficiently and were flexible with last minute changes and communicated all these changes appropriately and timely.  I would highly recommend this company to anyone needing quality work done at a good price.  Thank you CCG!

Recent Review: I bought a 2 hour special on Angie's list.  David Price, the owner, contacted me right away and scheduled someone within the week.  I purchased the flooring tiles at Lowes and the handyman laid the floor very quickly and with precision.  He was very nice and professional and I would hire them again.

Recent Review: The whole process took about 2-1/2 months. The first phase of tearing out and drying took less than a day and then VERY LOUD fans and scrubbers were put in place to run for five days nonstop. This was not pleasant, but it wasn't the contractor's fault - it's just something that had to be done. The workers cordoned off the affected area with heavy plastic to keep any potential mold separated as much as possible from the rest of the house. When the drying was done, they removed that equipment and a reconstruction contractor came by to talk with me about the rehab process. Because they had to tear out some old tile and wood flooring, they redid the entire kitchen floor to match all new tile (and installed new wooden flooring). There were difficulties along the way because of scheduling my job and their work times, but we were able to coordinate and the supervisor, Joe, kept me updated by frequent texts (my preferred mode of communication). The workers cooperated with our need to walk through their work area when at home and made sure doors were locked when they left for the day if we weren't here. When a subcontractor had to be here, such as a plumber or cabinet rebuilding, someone with A & D was here with them. This was insurance work, so A & D's office staff, Tricia and Leah, were patient about being paid and didn't push the issue. Everybody was, in short, professional and I was able to get answers to questions I had, and the finished cabinet rebuild and new floor are very attractive.
