Recent Review: Very well. A couple of challenges along the way -- I live in a older home -- but they cheerfully fixed everything that needed to be fixed. No surprise extra costs. When there turned out to be a small leak in the water line a few days later, they quickly came out and fixed it with no extra charge. Also, they're currently doing their cooler installations on Saturday. Interestingly, when I had them do an estimate last year, they were the highest of the three companies from whom I got bids. This year, they were the lowest.

Recent Review: I've been using Custom Heating and Cooling for over a year now. The company is very responsive and easy to work with. I've had them turn on, repair, and winterize my swamp cooler. They are very good about letting you know which components will need replacing in the next year or so, which allows one to budget for inevitable repairs. You can't beat the price for the turn on/off service when using an Angie's List voucher. Everyone I've dealt with at the company has been friendly and professional. I'm very pleased with their service.

Recent Review: I tired to use they at my new house because we wanted to get an evaporated cooler installed. But they are no longer doing evaporated coolers. They are doing more Traditional Air Conditioners. They gave me a reference to someone else, which made me sad because they did such a good job, before. They did a great job.

Recent Review: Revis from Home Remedy stopped by within a day or so; explained what they would do and gave me a competitive estimate. Several days later, Tony arrived on-time and was on the roof nearly two-hours doing the work. Everything went well and I couldn't be more pleased in the performance and professionalism of this organization. I highly recommend them!

Recent Review: Carlos, a technician, who had been here before came out, evaluated the problem and suggested appropriate repairs. He said there is really not any maintenance that can be done on the coil as long as it works and it was not leaking! The leak was on the outside. They replaced the coil, not because it was bad, but it was old, replaced drain pans, raised the unit, put in remote switch to shut off unit in case of water overflow, and fixed outside part. Even though price was higher, we trust this company!!

Recent Review: Selected Burnett after receiving 3 bids to do work on a/c system. He was the least expensive and explained to my satisfaction what he planned to do. They arrived at 7 am and finished at 6 pm. Extremely professional worked non stop all day. Installed gravel pit for the a/c drain at no charge. Sprayed the heating vent coming out of the roof black just because it looked better. We will have Burnett do semi annual maintenance on the HVAC in both buildings.

Recent Review: Our family's home's three HVAC Zone's 12 year old Natural Gas Heating Systems were checked for winter preventive maintenance. During the preventive maintenance, Bryne / Republic Heating and Air quickly identified that our family's home's three HVAC Zone's 12 year old Natural Gas Heating System's vent fan run capacitors were failing and far out of tolerance. As I'm familiar with electronics, Bryne showed me the metered readings of each of the three zone's failing capacitors as well as showed me the marked ratings for each capacitor as well as the listed / marked tolerance codes for each of the three capacitors. Lo and behold, Bryne was very much correct in the failing conditions of each capacitor -- in fact the capacitors were so far out of tolerance, it's surprising the heating vent fans were still working. But, 12 years is quite a long time for them to have not been replaced. So, it was definitely time to replace them. Bryne replaced the capacitors in a timely manner during the same visit and reported that everything else with our three heating zones appeared to be working properly. Additionally, Bryne wrote up three separate and detailed receipts (including make, model, and serial number) for each of the three HVAC Heating Systems that winter maintenance had been performed on (during the same visit) as well as detailed descriptions of the work that had been completed along with the specifications of the capacitor replacements (required / rated capacitance vs. measured), etc. Our family has used Republic Heating and Air in the past and we will continue to do so in the future so, not much more can be said about such a seamless maintenance and repair experience other than the maintenance and repairs were completed with the professionalism and courtesy that always comes to be expected when interacting with Republic Heating and Air. Customer service and satisfaction still appears to be Republic Heating and Air's motivation / goal and they met the mark once again! Thanks again for the great service Republic Heating and Air!

AMundae Cleaning & Restoration Services
It went great! Ben was so  helpful and generous with his time and explanations of what they could do. They worked quickly and were finished in about an hour. Their equipment is strong and hooked up to a main unit in their truck. I live on the 2nd floor and they brought the hose through the 2nd story patio glass door. The use of an camera on the end of one of their lines let me see that my vents were indeed very dirty and needed additional attention. I had been told several years ago that the type of cleaning they were offering me would tear my 40 year old vents; however, Ben assured me that they could do the work without harming my system in any way. Mundae did a great job, and I'll call them in the future for yearly cleaning.

ASpring Woodlands Air Technicians
Replaced approx 4 years ago, both of our systems are 2-stage 16 SEER units from Amana that employ advanced communicating system technology and ComfortNet CTK01 display thermostats.  We have really enjoyed and benefited from the excellent efficiency of these units.   Recently, one of our ComfortNet displays displayed the error "Call for Service".  The original installation (by another provider) had gone So poorly that I would Not call them back for the repair.  I decided to check both the Amana website and Angie's List for trained and recommended companies who could repair these Amana communicating systems. The first company I called sent a tech to my home; however, he was unable to repair the system since their only Technician who had completed training on these communicating systems was currently unavailable.  The tech who showed up said he had to leave town for a couple of days and that he would call me back to reschedule a time when he could return to my home and call Amana's Dealer Tech Support personnel so they could talk him through how to repair the system.  (Not confidence inspiring).  The second company I called was Spring Woodlands Air Technicians.  Todd and his assistant Brandon came to my home the following afternoon when they said they would.  They were both very courteous, very professional, and they knew what they were doing.  The tech from the other firm who had come the previous day had told me, "The heating vent pipe for one of your units was completely disconnected, was probably leaking carbon dioxide into your attic, so I turned off the gas because it was unsafe."  In contrast, Todd from SWAT (without me having mentioned anything) told me he had noticed that the heat vent pipe was disconnected and the gas was off, so he simply reconnected the vent pipe to the unit and turned the gas back on.  (Probably took him 30 seconds to do so.  I was immediately impressed.) Todd and Brandon checked and took measurements and discovered the fan motor on my Amana 16 SEER 5 ton unit needed to be replaced (part was under warranty).  I also mentioned that my outdoor temperature sensor for the unit saying "Call for Service" had not registered a correct outdoor temperature for years, and he said it could also be replaced under warranty.  (Before it was repaired by SWAT, one ComforNet display showed an outdoor temperature of 75F while the other one showed an outdoor temperature of 165F.  Clearly not accurate!).   In addition to the repairs I had requested Todd noticed the intake plenum on my other unit was coming detached from the Air Handler / Furnace.  He said the repair was very easy and agreed to fix that also.  Altogether, I was Very pleased with the service I received from S.W.A.T. and would highly recommend them.  Todd was extremely knowledgeable and knew exactly what to do to repair my system.  Thank You SWAT!
