Recent Review: They were efficient and professional. The door is excellent and good quality. I had them out today to look at another door and we noticed a crack in in the corner of the recently installed door. He said he would contact the office and get it taken care of. We would hire them for other work in the future.

Recent Review: I like everything about HERSHOCKS INC. It is quality products and professional people. They install everything properly the first time, they don't have to come back out and fix anything.
Recent Review: The sliding door from our dining room to out deck needed replaced. Elden and his son replaced the door. The new door was an inch wider than the old door which required that they enlarge the opening. They did an excellent job and completed it in one day. While they had the side of the house open, after removing the old door, Elden discovered that the people who installed our deck years ago did not attach the ledger to the joists, only to the particle board under the siding. This was allowing the deck to pull away from the house. For the price of a dozen bolts, he attached the ledger firmly to the joists behind it. This secured the deck to the house and probably saved us a lot of grief, and possibly injury, later on. Elden and his son also replaced the aluminum covering all of our window and door frames. He does a nice job and puts bends in the aluminum that make it look more like wood instead of a simple aluminum box around the frame. He completed the aluminum work in an additional day. The front of our house has a combination of brick and vinyl siding and we have a brick chimney against vinyl siding. Elden noticed that the joints between the brick and siding were not sealed. He sealed them with clear silicone caulk for a minimal charge. We have been very pleased with the work Elden and his son do for us and will hire him again whenever we have work that needs done around our house.
This is the forth attempt to get window screens that fit their windows. Original shipment with the windows were wrong and the next two replacements were also wrong. The screens for the sliding doors are not latchable. The five foot wide sliding doors only open up to a 21" open clearance. The key used on the Key lock for the sliding doors hits the jam. Each service call is about 3-4 weeks from the last attempt to fix issues.

It went pretty well except for the concrete work they couldn't do. They just don't provide concrete service.

The installer removed the old patio pull door from the frame and installed a sliding door. He checked the dimensions of the old door and removed it from the frame. He checked around the frame for wood rot and prepped for installation. After installing the sliding door into the frame he leveled it and nailed wooden slats to compensate for the dimension difference (the sliding door was smaller) and caulked around the wooden slats. The installer did an excellent job with what he was provided with. I asked questions during his process and he patiently explained all the details as he was performing the installation. I do feel the salesman should have told me the replacement door would be smaller that would have allowed me time to look for paneling or slats that would match the decor of the area instead of having plain unpainted wooden slats around the frame.

There prices were competitive with others. We had got a front door and the sales rep forgot to send the information where the hole was suppose to be. They got things in order and everything is great.

Did a GREAT job! Got a good estimate and didn't pressure me to sign contract. The installation was completed with great professionalism. Will use them again.

It went well. Representatives visited with me and provided estimates for a dual purchase of a patio door and a new front door. As a dual purchase the patio and the front door would have both been cheaper. I opted to go with the patio door by itself. After paying a deposit, a second representative came out and took measurements and reminded me that there would be a delay of 4 to 6 weeks before installation. About a month later, the installers called to set up an installation date. Installation day arrived and the installers arrived in timely fashion. The workers were polite, professional and cordial. I think the door was expensive, but quality wise it appears to live up to its billing as a high quality product worth the premium. We're very happy with the sliding door. It was installed flawlessly and the workers cleaned the work area and disposed of the old door. E J Waters

Wonderfully well! Every aspect of the job was performed with professionalism and on time. The installers were prompt, neat, friendly and thorough. They even helped keep the dogs from running outside through the big hole in the wall! They vacuumed up every speck and even cleaned the door glass, inside and out! I would most certainly recommend them! As a matter of fact, they're coming back soon to change out my front and back doors.
