Recent Review: My husband and I are retired and have had many experiences with various home remodelers.  In short, this was our best experience.  The overall quality of the work performed, the friendly nature of all the employees and the company's timeliness were outstanding.  It started with the initial consultation when Ed met with us and gave us many good suggestions, including how to save money and yet receive a quality makeover.  Once the  work began, everything proceeded in a timely manner:  the work started on the date promised, work began and finished at the same time every day; and the job was finished on the day promised.  Moreover, the quality of the work performed met our high standards.  In addition, they did not leave a mess at the end of the day.  Not only would I recommend this company, but we intend to use them again in the near future.

Recent Review: After 10 weeks not one project has been completed.  The granite isn't finished.  The floors are far from finished.  The shower door is in pieces in the bathroom.  It took a week and a lot of threats to get him to complete the plumbing so that I had running water in the kitchen, one floor is partially complete (he ran out of wood).  He claimed he ordered the wood, but the wrong shipment came in, but refused to provide his supplier so that I could verify this.  He lies constantly, doesn't show up when he supposed to and accomplishes absolutely nothing.  Not one single thing has been completed and my house has been torn up for 10 weeks.  He has a deadline of June 1 and the wood has not even been purchased yet.  I suspect he has spent the money I gave him for the wood elsewhere and it will never be coming.  Hardwood must acclimate for at least 72 hours where it will be laid and he still has not produced it. My neighbor can verify the accuracy of this review.  I have had to hire a housesitter to let them it and take care of my pets while they are here and she can also validate my claims.

Recent Review: I saw this company's work at a friend's house and vowed to get them to come to my house to do a bathroom remodeling when I had time to be around the house. It took two years for me to have the time and it was worth the wait! The company started one week late because the prior job the crew that was to come to me was still working on had experienced some additions/changes which required the crew to overstay the original end date. This did not disturb me at all. I was told this in enough time to not extend myself unnecesarily. Their men are professional and knowledgeable. When they are unsure about something, they do not go ahead until things are clarified by either Mr. or Mrs. Martin...or the customer if there is to be a change. The company is willing to do other jobs while on working on the main job; we replaced our other bathroom faucets, for instance, using their plumber. Their main man on my job was very neat; he cleaned up each day and I could have remained in my bedroom even in the middle of the mess, had I not chosen to sleep at a friend's house during the course of the remodeling. I did use my home during the day, but mess from the bathroom never "traveled" to other rooms. This company uses very good subcontractors such as cabinetmakers, licensed electricians, Pergo floor specialists, and tile men, all of whom did an excellent job. I would highly recommend this company for anyone in the area to use as a remodeling firm. They do what they agree to do and will extend and change the contract as needed/requested by the homeowner. Flexibility is there; honesty is definitely a part of the process. Mr. and Mrs. Martin both have high standards and they hold their workers to those standards as well.

Providers made errors repeatedly, tile had to be re-ordered, shower door size took almost 3 weeks. Good work but VERY slow progress and very messy.
