Stayed behind schedule, put up low quality product, then took the money and ran. We hired Home Performance Concepts for a big job (skylights, windows, siding, painting, adjusting doors, etc.), which they promised would be done in a week for $11,000. At the end of week three, job unfinished, Jerry Christian yelled at my husband for thirty minutes in our driveway for more money and me for another 30 minutes about my husband. My husband paid a total of $10,700 after his son and co-owner, David, convinced him that we didn't have to worry, they were going to finish. He said they just needed the money for supplies, that he's a good Christian guy, he has kids, and can be trusted. They worked for a few more days, and then David sent a text to say that even though they'd promised to come back, that they could not afford to. That was the last we heard from them. We?ve been given many reasons for failure to deliver as promised: weather, too low of an initial bid, not enough money up front, personal issues, the store didn?t have the right paint, the overhangs are too hard to remove and replace, etc. Whatever the reason, they took $10,700 and failed to show up one day. We have a legally binding contract and will be suing them in court. Save yourself the hassle and hire another company.
