Recent Review: Fantastic!! Was a third floor walkup so a lot of stairs. Was 35 year old condo all uneven surfaces. We wanted a more of a modern bachelor look. Black granite floor, gray wall tile. The tile guy is awesome the cuts, grout lines, tile placement, shelves all perfect. Needed new subfloor. The a/c is over the bath tub and there is drop ceiling. One day we needed an a/c guy and miraculously the same day is there. they cleaned up everyday.

Recent Review: Overall, the experience was a good one. This was our first time dealing with a contractor and based on others' experiences with other contractors, were prepared for the worst. However, we are very happy with the finished product and Joe was very professional in his suggestions and really wanting to do things the right way. After receiving the original estimate, there were several details left out that we notified Joe about, but we never received an updated estimate. The final project cost ended up being close to double what the original estimate was. We selected tile from the store that Joe suggested to us, and it was very convenient since Joe was able to pick it up and we did not have to worry about that.  Originally, he stated that this would be a 2-3 day job, beginning on a Thursday. He called and said he could not start until the following Monday. On Monday, he only dropped off supplies, no work was done. When the work was started on Tuesday, a random door and brick wall were discovered behind the paneling being torn out. While these things could have been left as is, Joe wanted us to benefit from the few inches of room that we gained by tearing out the brick wall. Tearing out the unexpected brick wall added time and expense to the project;  however, we know it was done correctly. When the carpet was torn out, an old vinyl tile floor was discovered that was completely glued down. This added additional time. During Joe's first visit to the house, he did not lift up the carpet to see what was underneath so this was a surprise to everyone. Since the tearing up of this vinyl took a whole day, this again delayed the process. No work was done the following day. Two workers came on Saturday and worked for about 14 hours. When they left, they said someone might come back on Sunday, but Joe said he would not be there and would see us Monday. Monday came & went with no one working or calling. Work resumed on Tuesday, when Joe discovered some faulty wiring done by the previous homeowners. He spent a lot of time fixing this, again, so things were done the right way. He could have kept his mouth shut and we would never have been the wiser. I feel much safer in my home now, thanks to Joe!  More supplies needed to be ordered & would not be in until Thursday, so no work was done Wednesday. The work was finally completed that Friday, making it a two week project. I understand that there were unexpected problems that came up and I even get that other projects are going on simultaneously, but the lack of communication was frustrating. We had the luxury of one of us being able to work from home, but had we needed to take off of work for this, there would have been no excuse  for not showing up with no explanation. Up until the last few days, we were still reminding them of small details that needed to be done.  The room being worked on had been a slab addition to a pier & beam house, so there were 2 steps down into this room. At Joe's wonderful suggestion, we were able to get rid of the bottom step and just have one step coming down. Since the step was originally carpet, I was not sure what to do with it now, since it leads fromthe original wood floor into this now tiled room. Joe once again had a great suggestion about just making it a one-piece oak step, stained to match the original floor. When this step was installed, it did not fully cover part of the wood floor that was never refinished. We were able to actually lift up this step as the nails used were very short. We just moved it back a bit so that it covers the unsightly part of the floor and it looks just fine. We will definitely be calling Joe again for future projects!

Recent Review: The overall job with Bobby, Elsa, and their team went very well.  I spent quite a bit of time researching, documenting and specifying the requirements for the job ahead of time with the goal of ensuring there would be no misunderstanding and also to enable the project to be complete as quickly as possible.  Bobby was very patient in listening to what we wanted to do on this job and offered advice during the planning.  During the planning period, he even reached out to the company that produced much of the sound proofing materials to ensure the products he planned to use were the correct ones for the job.  When the team arrived to start the job, they spent ample time covering much of house with plastic and prepping the job.  Ahead of this (and would definitely recommend it for anyone doing an interior remodel) we took the time to literally cover and seal every piece of furniture, cabinet, picture, etc with plastic.  It took my wife and I 3 days to do this ahead of time and eliminated virtually all the dust from entering these areas upon clean up. The team was very quick in installing the subfloor and ensuring it was more than adequate to pass code.  They worked on the double separated walls, rear room riser, and door frame all the while adjusting and tweaking as I requested.  Then the electrical was run including an additional required subpanel as well as HVAC to the new downstairs family room ceiling.  Sound proofing wall insulation (Roxul AFB) was installed in the walls and subfloor and then the Quietrock sheetrock with texturing and painting to follow.  Bobby's team also installed Roxul Comfort batt insulation above the home theater to provide R value as well as sound proofing.  Finally we had Bobby create a subtle entrance to the home theater that blended with the rest of the house.  The finished result is top notch and blends seamlessly with the rest of the house and during the entire job, the entire team did a great job of keeping the site clean as possible.   Bobby was great to work with during the whole job and really help work with me to ensure the room was built as we had envisioned and of the quality found in our neighborhood.  He was reasonable with his quote which included the main structural build.  Essentially this included everything except the extensive woodwork for the theater screen, columns, and rear cabinetry (Chandler Cabinets produced all of those), staining of all woodwork, carpet purchase and install, specialty lights on the columns, door hardware, and all home theater wiring and equipment.   I would definitely recommend Bobby for any remodel you plan to do - large or small.  He's great to work with and definitely wants to do the best job possible. PRECISE DRYWALL
Recent Review: Both jobs went well. Cory worked our job in among his other work and was able to get to it the next week. The first time it took longer than he estimated because of the extra work but the second time his quote of 4 days was right on schedule. He was able to start the job the week after I called and promised to be finished on Friday. When the drywall was not dropped off as scheduled and he was a day behind because of it, he came on Saturday and Sunday to be sure it was done in time for the painters to come on Monday as scheduled. All of his work looks excellent and because he is so good at his work, there was very little sanding and minimal drywall dust. The last time we had drywall done by someone else, the whole house was covered in drywall dust. This time there was very little and confined to the rooms he worked in. I definitely will use Cory again and have recommended him to my sister.
