Recent Review: Mr Powell come to give me the initial estimate. Normally, I get at least 3 estimates for a job, but I could tell his estimate was more than fair. He explained the process throughly and gave me several tips on how to keep my stone and grout looking brand new. His crew was very friendly and mindful of the home. My family and a house guest were all home that day and felt very comfortable through the process. Mr. Powell came by after this job was finished to check on a concern I had. He explained that sometimes a wax is put on new granite by the installers to make it shine. He personally came out the following day to remove the wax build up that remained after the granite was sealed. I would give an A+ from the first phone call through the final trip made out by the owner.

JG Natural Stone
Recent Review: We researched several vendors before we decided to go with JG. Marsela was there throughout the entire process from estimate to completion answering our questions and scheduling when they would be at our home. They gave us great advice and were very patient with us as we made our decisions. There was no sales pressure or negative comments or opinions about competitors. We are considering installing hardwoods and JG will be the first people we will call when we are ready.

Recent Review: They got my natural stone tile clean and re-sealed my grout. I'm very pleased and will use them again when my tile gets dirty again. They also recommended a better way to clean the natural stone. While they were here, they also cleaned some of my carpet and did a nice job on it too.

The Grout Guys of Texas
Recent Review: The Grout Guys came to our home to evaluate the job, then provided a firm quote.  We awarded them the job and set a date the following week to have the repairs completed. Our job consisted of removal and replacement of all grout in our master shower (large shower - approx. double the size of a traditional shower) and filling of some cracks in travertine tile due to settling.  The Grout Guys were timely, professional, courteous and honest. They did a very thorough job and took the time to discuss upkeep, ongoing maintenance and other questions I had for them. I was very impressed with their work and will be using them again in the future.

Recent Review: they called ahead, as promised, to inform me of the exact time they would be there and they were able to come earlier if I wanted.  They worked efficiently and thoroughly, desiring to please the customer with their end result.  First they cleaned all areas and then came back with a sealer.  I'm having some other work done in my house this month and will have them return to clean the carpets.

He insisted that he come out today instead of next week so I agreed to it and then he did not show.  Called him and he stated that he was sorry and that he would come tomorrow, I stated no because the weekend is not good for us and I had rearranged my schedule due to him insisting that he come today.  So he showed up an hour later after that phone call.   I explained to him over the phone that I needed my master bathroom tile cleaned and polished.  He then tried to up sell me on everything else from my carpet to my hardwood floors.  So after an hour of discussing what he was to do for me, he forgets what he is supposed to be doing.  Also, he got here and he was here an hour and twenty minutes before he even started doing any work.  After all this, we ended up asking him to leave after only doing six tiles in our bathroom after four hours of work.  Walked all over my floor with white paste and knew he was doing it and also tracked it all over my carpet as well.

I have a granite countertop. I needed a specialist to come out here and basically reseal the sink that was leaking. It costed me $175. When they gave me the estimate, they thought they would have to completely detach the sink from the granite. Then they would have to get underneath the sink, cut all the pipes, unglue the sink and then reattach it. Then they were going to come out the next day to fix all the plumbing. However, when they got out here, they realized that the only thing they had to do was basically re cork it above the granite. So they took off the cork that was around the sink and re corked it. They were here for about 20 minutes. They took off the plumbing fee but left the other fee on it. I thought that $175 was for completely detaching the sink and redoing all that work. They said that it was the service fee for coming out here and doing what they did. I thought that was a little unusual. I will probably use them again but I will make it clear that I need them to come out and give me an estimate based on looking at the job and determining exactly what they need to do.
