Recent Review: Frank re-keyed our locks for us and also installed entry keypad locks. He did a great job and was very polite. We had a few challenges with scheduling because he had some people get locked out of cars and needed to attend to them, but he showed up and did a nice job. We will have him back out to add more keypad locks - they are really great!!
Recent Review: The counter staff helped me select the appropriate keypad deadbolt for my door by discussing the pros and cons of the different locks. The lock was installed by Mark who also provided instructions on how to operate it.
Mika took his time to show me what is wrong, he also printed out for me how to bypass certain entry that I didn't know about. He was in depth.

THEY USE GOOD-QUALITY EQUIPMENT, AND THE SALESPERSON WAS VERY FRIENDLY AND GAVE ME A VERY GOOD DEAL. THE INSTALLER MADE AN EFFORT TO CLEAN UP AFTERWARD, BUT HE LEFT SOME DEBRIS IN THE BASEMENT, AND THE KEYPAD WAS INSTALLED IN A SLIGHTLY CROOKED POSITION. HOWEVER, THE INSTALLER WAS ABLE TO ANSWER SOME OF MY QUESTIONS AND KNEW WHAT HE WAS DOING. OVERALL, THE INSTALLED EQUIPMENT FUNCTIONED AS PROMISED, AND THE KEYPAD WAS MUCH MORE FUNCTIONALLY FLEXIBLE THAN I HAD ANTICIPATED, WHICH IS GOOD.

Alarm started going off at all times of day and night. Could not and can not get customer service from this company. I canceled my service and received a letter stating that service was canceled and that I had a zero balance due to problems with customer service. Two months later Brinks started billing me again, after more than 10 calls to Brinks I faxed a letter to them with a copy of the notice showing cancellation. The letter was faxed on the 29th of July, on the 5th of August I received a new cancellation notice stating that I now owed them $752.31. Same letter, new balance, with no reason for this change. I contacted Paul ?? at the local Brinks office and was told he could only help me if I would reinstate my service, when I refused he told me to pay the money and he couldn't help me, then hung up the phone on me. Mo Benzegala also lied to me when he originally sold me the service, telling me that I did not need a license for the alarm system. Mo also refused any sort of customer service when I contacted him at the beginning of this fiasco. Brinks has conveniently lost all of these complaints, according to Paul?? these complaints are not in their computer. However, I have copies of phone bills and the Columbus Police Department can verify the false alarms and the fines. I was also fined for not having a license, as well as having to purchase the license. I have also filed a complaint with the Ohio Attorney General's office over the fraudulent and unethical behavior of the Brinks Home Security Company.

Larry, the owner, came out and met with us to show us door styles. He took his time and explained everything to us. He was very patient with us as we waffled on what color/style/etc. We finally decided and let Larry know via email. Larry was always very quick to respond, usually within an hour or two of my email. It did take a couple of months before they could get the door and get us scheduled. Larry was honest and told us that they were backed up on the schedule and it would take some time. That was fine with us, I appreciated him being honest about it. Ken was our installer. He did a fantastic job. He was friendly and answered all my questions. The door looks better, and is installed better than the original door that was on the house. I gave them a B on price. That said, I didn't get any other quotes to compare them to, so I can't really say if they are expensive compared to their competition. I gave a B simply because the door was so expensive. That said, I truly believe I go a top quality door with a top quality install. Great job, we're very happy.
