This was amazing. awesome. perfect. Seriously. I've already recommended Anne to a friend whose apartment needs a serious intervention. Anne and I tackled my basement. It wasn't horribly heinous, but it was definitely cluttered, and the clutter was stressing me out. I dreaded going into the basement. My partner didn't seem to think there was anything wrong, especially since we have a bunch of things in bins on shelves. So I could really get him to spend time and effort on the basement. Finally I just looked up professional home organizers and I'm so glad I found Anne. Anne's time estimate for our project was spot-on. And she didn't stop moving: she unpacked, moved, sorted, labeled, swept and organized. We talked and laughed as we worked; she's warm, friendly and easy to get along with. I felt almost like I was working with a very hip, more experienced sibling or cousin--she was efficient, proactive and knowledgeable, but also compassionate. When you're organizing your stuff, there's a lot of emotional stuff going on--attachment to things from the past, or the difficulty of predicting your future relationship status, for example. Anne made it easy for me to talk about things frankly and we made excellent headway. I bought a promotional package on this website, and then promptly hired her at regular-price for more work. My basement now looks great. I never thought I'd feel this way but, seriously, I look for excuses now to go into the basement, and when I do, I linger a little to admire our (her) handiwork. I'm looking forward to hiring her for more of my projects. There's a library overflowing with papers and books... Anne, you angel. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
