The toilet bowl would fill with water, but would not cycle and drain normally. The plumber removed a blockage so that the toilet performed normally. He also pointed out some parts that will likely need to be replaced soon. The guys were punctual, professional, and explained all of the options up to replacing with the toilet with a top of the line model. Fortunately for me, the least expensive option worked!

Mike went above and beyond in terms of service. We had some flooding issues due to a problem with our toilet and scheduled an appointment with Mike for two days post contact. Unfortunately, the problem got worse with the passage of time and we called Mike to see if he could come a day early. He was extremely accommodating, and offered to come after his last job of the day after 6:00 in the evening, without charging anything additional. That last job took longer than anticipated; however, he offered to come either at midnight or at 6:00 the next morning because we had carpet cleaners scheduled to sanitize the carpet at 9:00 a.m. (and he did not charge us extra!). He ended up coming at 6:00 a.m. the next morning and was able to solve the problem. He even asked me at the end how I heard about him, and when I told him "Angie's List" he voluntarily offered me the 10% off coupon, which saved me $50. I would not hesitate to use Mike again. He's a very nice, honest guy.

I bought a big deal for this company and he charged me $195 over for the work.  I had my Big Deal refunded.  His work was fine, his price I am unhappy with.  Plumber accidently broke the wall and the hinge off of the toilet seat.  I want no further contact with this service provider.

Corey came over and solved my problem. He was punctual and answered all my questions. Good quality job all around from the moment i make the appointment to the phone calls I received on when Corey was arriving to the actual job. Thank you.

I had issues with my three toilets in my bathrooms. They wouldn't flush completely unless you held down the handle for about 10 seconds. Two employees worked efficiently and quickly to fix all toilets and replace the handles with more efficient handles at great price. Great work! Would definitely use again!

We thought we needed a new toilet and were prepared to replace ours.  Stan replaced a gasket or something of the sort and fixed the problem without having to replace the toilet!  We spent a lot less than anticipated!  He was quick with the repairs and punctual.  For any plumbing needs, we'll be calling Stan!

I would highly recommend Walter! I had an issue with a toilet that was missing a small piece of the flush valve and happened to see an Angie's list deal for a $25 toilet fix.  While this was a small job, Walter was able to get me an appointment quickly, he was on time and when he didn't have the part on him, he quickly went and bought one. After he fixed the toilet, I asked him if he could let me know what he thought was going on with a sink faucet that had been making a hammering sound for months... he went under the cabinet and fixed the issue in a few seconds!   I really appreciated how professional and courteous he was when this was such a small job.

Recent Review: They came to unclog the toilet but during the time of service the tool that they were using got stuck. They had to remove the toilet in order to get the tool unstuck. They had to crack the toilet in half, and they ended up replacing my toilet.

Recent Review: Jeff and his helper were FABULOUS. They were punctual, professional and reasonably priced. They cleaned up behind themselves. Did NOT leave a mess as other workmen have done in my home. I would DEFINITELY hire him again and would recommend him to others.

Recent Review: Had Lakeside Plumbing come out for service on our kitchen sink, and since they were there we had them look at some other concerns we had been living with. What a thrill to find top notch people who gave an honest assessment Nick and Brian, were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly.  They arrived within five minutes of their scheduled time, despite the fact that there were six inches of snow on the ground!  We followed up with Heather at the office, who was extremely kind and  professional.  Highly recommended!

Recent Review: I contacted Scott, owner of Plumb-it, Inc, and informed him that I needed to replace a hot water heater as I was selling my home and the buyers requested it be replaced. I called around 9:30 at night thinking I would leave a voicemail and would hear back in the morning; to my surprise Scott answered and asked what how he could help! I informed him of my situation and he said the cheapest route would be for me to purchase a water heater myself (which Plumb-it, Inc. obviously wouldn't warranty) and he would only charge for the install. This option easily saved us $200 vs. other quotes we received. James performed the install while I was at work. James made sure to call and update me during the install and after it was completed. Excellent owner in Scott who is virtually always accessible and is an honest and fair plumber. Update: 3 days after having James out to replace the water heater I realized there was water in my basement...after investigating the problem, the water was leaking from the main shutoff valve. I immediately called Scott to have him send someone out (which was James again). James seemed amazed that the valve leaked because according to him almost never happens. Well it leaked and if I hadn't checked the closet where the valve is, it could have possibly caused the sale of my house to be delayed or even fall apart altogether. Here's the best part, James and Scott wanted to charge me almost $200 for the "repair". I called Scott and he seemed to think I was the jerk who was asking for a free repair -- well Scott, your plumber shutoff the main valve which caused it to leak (whether because of his error it or it being a faulty valve). After some debate, I told scott I'd give him $100 for James' "troubles".. I was not home at the time of the repair, so I can't attest to whether James checked the valve properly before leaving. Also while the valve may have been faulty this was absolutely related to the work that was done, therefore the labor potion should have been covered in the $450 of labor I initially paid 3 days prior. I still think it's a good company and they do good work, however I may think twice before using them in the future.

Recent Review: It was work to find a plumber specializing in the type of pump needed. There were many companies wanting to sell drain tile system at costs up to $16K that didn't address the issue. Speaking to Len, I got a good feeling right away. With 40+ years in the biz and very happy doing his job I never felt he was talking game to try and close the deal. I talked to many companies including Angie's List award winners & chose Len in spite of not being listed or having a slick website. He does business the old fashioned way with handshakes straight talk and no pressure. The cost was steep but was right in the middle of most quotes. It took a few months to schedule due to weather but the job was done in 2 days with little disruption. The crew was professional and Len was on site during the entire process. Some extra work was thrown in at no extra charge which speaks to his character. When finished Len said he would be calling his retired father on how it went, just like he does after every big job.
