ACOMMUNITY ASPHALT PAVING
From first contact to arrange an estimate to the conclusion of the paving work, Community Asphalt Paving was a pleasure to work with: pleasant, punctual, accomodating, efficient and very professional. The workers even went so far as to help carry groceries from the street to the house during the work period! Couldn't have hoped for a better experience with a paving contractor.

Never got back to me after I submitted signed proposal and deposit. I had to chase them down to get the work completed. They came to pour the driveway just after a rain...not the best time. I asked about the shrubbery along the driveway, offered to tie it back...they said not to worry. They then proceeded to ruin a beautiful 50-year old globe yew...smeared asphalt all over it. The asphalt mix they used was not appropriate for a driveway--not enough filler, lots of voids. We hope the driveway holds up and doesn't crumble. The edges of the driveway were not finished consistently...some parts have angled edges, some do not. They left a piece of equipment, and never came to pick it up despite several phone calls. Overall we're not satisfied with the quality of their work, would not recommend.

Fantastic! Highly professional and skilled team that provided the exact service provided in estimate with the final bill equal the estimate. Good communication - everyone was very pleasant and easy to work with. Even retrieved my mail when the postman was going to bypass us. The driveway looks great. Chose this company based on the high number of 5 star ratings. Wasn't disappointed. Highly recommend Joe and his brother Josh.

ATmw Enterprises Paving & Maintenance
Ty was prompt to respond for an estimate and communicated throughout the process via his website and email. Just before the actual day to remove the old driveway, he set up a text message thread for everyone involved so you knew exactly what time each crew would be there. The entire operation was smooth and the driveway looks fantastic! Everyone on Ty's team was efficient, skillful, and friendly. TMW really knows this business. No hesitation with recommend them.

We couldn't be happier with our experience.  Once I got the building permit, it seemed that Mother Nature was working against us:  we had the rainiest June on record.  Our sales rep, Brad, was very responsive, and he was so efficient, he was able to schedule the first of the two village-required inspections just two hours after they removed the old drive and compacted the stone, right before yet another deluge. Thanks to the nearly daily thunderstorms, it took an extra week on top of the usual wait time for the crew to be able to remove the old asphalt, and then it was an additional week before they could put in the new asphalt.   The installation delay was not their fault, and Brad kept me apprised of the schedule.  They were finally able to get our new driveway laid down today (on a Saturday), and it looks fantastic.  The crew of five worked quickly and when they left, there was no loose asphalt anywhere and the edges along the brick pavers on each side of the driveway and along the sidewalk were sharp and clean.  I was afraid that we'd have to remove or replace the pavers, but Brad assured me that wouldn't be necessary, and he was right. I highly recommend Damico Paving.

OUR OLD DRIVEWAY WAS IN VERY BAD SHAPE. FRANK GAVE US TWO ESTIMATES-ONE FOR RESURFACING AND ONE FOR REPLACING. WE DECIDED TO GO WITH THE REPLACEMENT SINCE IT WOULD LAST LONGER. FRANK WAS VERY PERSONABLE AND HE AND HIS CREW DID A NICE JOB. THEY REMOVED THE OLD ASPHALT AND APPLIED 3.5 INCHES OF NEW ASPHALT (BINDER & SURFACE.)

the office people were knowledgeable and efficient. I got a bid right away which was quite reasonable compared to other quotes. They came when they said they would. my driveway looks great. the material they use seems to be better than i have ever seen before. they even asked for my choice of charities that they donate a portion of my cost to. I made a great choice to hire AAM!

Recent Review: I had a concrete driveway installed 14 years ago and due to poor soil conditions the concrete heaved and cracked over the years. We required a contractor who would be able to identify and properly address the poor soil conditions before laying the new asphalt. Tony Ducato at Done-Rite Sealcoating was hired and he did an excellent job in evaluating the soil conditions and addressing my concerns. Up to three feet of spongy clay-like soil had to be removed and proper fill brought in and compacted. His crew then worked on a Saturday to finish up our paving job. The finished asphalt driveway looks great and feels solid. We are very happy with the work from Tony and his crew. They were great to work with and Tony kept me informed of schedule and costs.

Recent Review: My driveway was in poor shape and a small part of it had been removed to install a drainage system. Total Paving came out to discuss the project and my concerns about landscaping and an adjacent fence. Because it was the end of summer, they were not able to install the driveway for several months. But they kept to the schedule. They removed the driveway and installed the new driveway as described. They finished on schedule. However, they left a large amount of debris along the fence in a narrow planting bed. I called to ask them to return to clean up the junk asphalt, as I had no way to dispose of it. (It is illegal to put construction material in residential trash.) They said they would have someone remove the debris, but they never did. I ultimately had to pay my landscaping company to clean up and dispose of the debris. The driveway has a slightly wavy surface in one area. It is minor, but I'm sure this is where the driveway will start to fail. Because of these two problems, I will not use them in the future.
