Recent Review: We went to the location to see what hardwood flooring was offered at the location on Wilkinson Blvd. This location had a large selection of different types of hardwood, engineered, and laminate style flooring. We looked at several hardwood styles and had them give us some quotes and samples on each. We then took a few days to decide which one would work best for our situation and settled on the Tigerwood in the larger 5 1/4" width (they also had a 3 1/2" available). We went back to see if they had it in stock and found that they did indeed so we paid for it and worked out a delivery date. It was delivered as promised the next Monday at 9am. We decided to install ourselves and the flooring looks really nice and there were very few bad planks. The few bad boards we did have we were able to use these as fill in pieces near the walls. We are very pleased with the result.
Recent Review: The crew arrived a day late, but they did come by at around 6:00 pm to tell me they had been delayed. A few places they did not use the wood pieces from different boxes and the pattern looked a little repetitous, but it was put down well and the crew was extremely nice and they cleaned up nicely afterward. The issue came when they installed the vinyl laminate in the basement. They followed the directions on the box and did not put down an underlayment. After a few months, moisture started to get on the concrete and it made the tile puff up in the middle. It was like walking on pillows. After going around and around with LL and Ogles, it was determined that LL would pay for the tile, since it was the instructions on the box that made the flooring defective. A representative from Ogles (name withheld) was kind enough to keep me informed and to help lead me in the direction of what I needed to do to get the claim settled. Mr. Ogle himself was extremely nice to work with, as well is his entire staff.
Recent Review: Work itself was done very professionally and is of high quality. Was disappointed when I came home after three days and they still had to finish molding and put furniture back. Overall a very good job and I would rehire and recommend them.

Recent Review: I called Dave at 1-2-3 Floors and 2 other contractors to bid on my damaged bathroom floor. Dave came to my residence right away to provide a free estimate. He assessed the damage and provided a quote that was contingent on what they found once the floor was removed. He was able to work me into his schedule in only a couple of days. I gave 1-2-3 Floor the job over the other 2 contractors based on Dave's professionalism and thoroughness. 1-2-3 Floor showed up on time and did a fantastic job. Dave came by to make sure the work was done to his satisfaction. I was extremely impressed with the care they took to ensure the work was done correctly and clean up the mess afterwards. I would definitely recommend 1-2-3 Floor for any flooring job.
tSalesman came about 8 days prior to installation. I had heard radio ads for this company and asked for reviews from the Atlanta Angies list since they are relatively new to Charlotte. After checking out the reviews I decided to give them a try. They came in and moved all my furniture just as the tv ad stated. They came right on time and installed the floor in about six or seven hours. There was some minor damages from some of the hammering upstairs, and the furniture wasn't put back 100% correctly, but over all it was a good experience.

Great service, great quality of work. They arrived on time, performed work quickly and left everything clean and tidy when they left. Would definitely use this company again!

United Flooring from a sales and service perspective has been very professional and responsive. From a workmanship perspective I believe the quality of my installation is inferior. I "supposedly" had a Mannington rep come to the house to take a sample of the laminate to send to Mannington to inspect for any defect in the laminate itself, have I have not heard anything. I called Mannington to check on the claim. They could not find any claim field in my name. United Flooring sent someone out to replace one board that has started to bend/chip. United Flooring has responded to all my calls and been very nice. BUT, the bottom line I'm not happy with my floor. If anyone would like to see my floor... if you are thinking of using United, I'd be more than happy for you to come and look at my installation. Call me. 704 502 8442.

flooring started to show signs of poor quality within 60 days of installation; dealing with the company to try and resolve this issue is still on-going and beyond frustrating; I would never recommend using this company; not only did they sell me a poor quality product that was not suitable for my home just to make a sale, their dedication to customer service is non-existent

I was very pleased with the professionalism of 50 Floor. I had them pull up the carpet in my bedroom and install laminate flooring. They did just what their commercial says they do - move the furniture, do the floor, and put back the furniture. When they came the first day, they pulled up the carpet, did a lot of sanding to prepare the floor, then started the install. When they got about 4 feet out from the wall, they asked me to come in and showed me a gap between the ends of the pieces. It was minuscule and I probably would not have noticed it, but they took a picture and sent it in to their boss, who said to pull it up and they would reorder it, as it was defective. While waiting another week was not real convenient, I was very impressed that they a) noticed the problem, b) called my attention to it, c) did not try to say there was a problem with my floor and try to charge me more money, and d) stood behind their product. They came back a week later to finish the floor and I love it!

They were quick, professional and definitely had the skills necessary to do a great job. The crew that they used was the right number needed and the job was done very fast in about 6 hours. They were patient as I decided what to go with and I would highly recommend them.

The first installers showed up and said the Luxury vinyl plank would not work since there had been ceramic tile and hardwood in two rooms. The LVP was much thinner and there would be a huge gap between the floor and front and back doors. The Empire guy who only sells the product but obviously has no other knowledge, did not know that. I called Empire guy and he said ok no problem you need to choose laminate, that will be thicker and we won't have an issue. We rescheduled then they called to tell me the laminate did not arrive from their Atlanta warehouse so they would come tomorrow. This was after I had dropped off my dog for boarding. The next day the installers did show up but they told me the same thing---the laminate is also too thin-there will still be a big gap. Twice I moved all my things upstairs and took my dog for boarding. There is a disconnect between the person who works for Empire and the installers. This was a complete waste of my time. They called me that afternoon to tell me they had a solution. That I could pay an extra $1500 to have a sub floor installed under those two rooms and that would solve the problem. After that I had no faith that anyone there had a clue what they were doing. And if they really wanted to try again they should have offered to install the subfloor on their dime. I have never been so disgusted.

AYou Call We Install Flooring
Mike was very responsive from the start. Very professional. He even picked up the floor we had picked it up and delivered to the house the week before the install for no extra charge. What service! The install went well and was done in just under 2 days. He even stained the shoe molding in wood stain for no charge. They were very efficient, professional and clean. Excellent price and job. Thanks!
