The shed is a surprise for my husband and they have been very good about helping me to schedule it so that I can have it installed when he's not home.

APOST WOODWORKING INC
Great work. Mike Post came and gave me an estimate. Purchase made on sale and during the Massachusetts Tax Holiday Weekend. Workers showed up two weeks later, and in just a few hours, I had a wonderful Shed. Highly recommend Post Woodworking.

Work was completed in one day and as scheduled. The deck was recoat end and the deck looks fabulous. My shed wall was pushed back in place and anchored to the concrete pad. A new shed door was installed and painted. Now the shed door closes properly.

AREEDS FERRY SHEDS®
The service was great overall!  They were able to recommend a local company that prepared the site for us, and the company they recommended was good. They were quick and cleaned up well. The quality of their product is very high; it really holds up. If I need another shed or outbuilding, I’ll definitely give them a call.

AREEDS FERRY SHEDS®
The entire process was superb, from the selection and purchase through installation. The sales rep was very responsive and helpful. The installers were on time and professional. The shed was assembled remarkably fast and is high quality. I would recommend Reeds Ferry to anyone looking for a new shed.

AARBOR CONSTRUCTION
Great!  Vinny (the owner) is great to work with!  I needed a custom shed to fit the space and the pre-made sheds would not have worked, so I asked Vinny if he'd build a shed.  I went with a concrete floor and an odd size of 9' x 12'.  He also had to keep the roof line at or below 10' according to permits and such.  Vinny's team is awesome... Juan, Carlos and Harvey.  They work hard and care about the end product.  They shed took four days to complete.  In the end, I love my shed! BTW... Vinny damaged my less than one year old driveway.  When I pointed it out, he had it fixed the right way!  Most guys would have not done what Vinny did! I'd recommend Arbor Construction any day of the week to any member!

AJustin the Handyman
After a storm I noticed that the window in my shed popped out. It was the Friday of the Memorial Day weekend and my regular handyman was on the Cape. I didn’t want to wait so I cast about on Next Door and found Justin. Despite having other plans Justin came right over and figured out the problem and not only did a temporary fix but arranged to come back with a more secure solution – adding clasps to the frame to secure the window. While he was there he noticed a corner of the roof that was penetrated by a branch a few years back and I hadn’t gotten around to having repaired. He quickly acknowledged he was not a roofer but thought he could figure out a way to accomplish a patch of the hole until I got in a contractor. When he returned he had done some research at the hardware store and patched the shed roof as well. I am sure I will be calling on him again. Very methodical, thoughtful, explains what he is going to do, doesn’t pretend to know what he doesn’t know, and doesn’t gouge you pricewise.

BPOST WOODWORKING INC
Post Woodworking was prompt and courteous. They also tailored the design of this wooden shed to conform with our need for a shed that was considerably less tall than the one they had in the catalogue. The materials and workmanship were good, not great, but with no overt problems. The appearance of the new shed is very nice. The price was high in relation to some of the pre-formed sheds we looked at. We would go back to them again for a customized shed that really looks fine.

AClassic Concrete
Tony is a pleasure to work with -- knowledgeable, forthcoming with information and details, and overall just a nice guy.  His initial bid was lower than others', and he still came in lower after an unexpected additional $750 was added on, since he needed to dig out more topsoil than we originally thought.  The final product looks beautiful.

BNew England Outdoor Sheds & Gazebos
The new shed was good quality.  I love it, and the value was decent.  John, the owner, is a very professional person, and he knows how to make sheds.  The only issue that I had was I was told by their scheduling department that someone would call me, repeatedly, and it never happened.  I probably had to be on the phone with the company 7 times before appropriate appointments were scheduled.  Granted, they had to time the teardown before the new shed was built, but it should be easier to do than it was in my experience. One day, they were scheduled to come and build it, but there was no shed.  They rescheduled and did it a week later, so it was okay.   John seemed to be overall concerned about the quality of the job, and customer feedback.  John personally showed up to tear down my old shed, with his employee, once the job had been postponed a few times. When the builders forgot to install my solar light, he showed up personally to install it.  That shows dedication to customer service and satisfaction. Overall, the experience wasn't bad.  The new shed is excellent, and I am happy I had it done.

Business Description: A true handyman service, intentionally not pursuing contractor type tasks to focus on the under served "small task" market that every home has, but most services don't want or are not properly equipped to handle with the kind of competence, quality and professionalism that we do. Staying true to small jobs keeps our availability much higher. You will not find such a comprehensive package to arrive in an impressively large van stocked with all things necessary to address such a wide variety of tasks with such care and competence. If you've had trouble finding someone to hang your pictures, change a hard to reach light bulb, get your slider to you know ...slide. We're the call you need to make. Currently our hourly rate is $ for two skilled professionals. We typically suggest to resign to whatever your budget will allow, preferably 4 or 8 hour time frames and call with your prioritized list of tasks. Prioritizing ensures you are making the most of our visit with the things that will best enhance your life. Once the time is up, the remainder will defer to the next visit when finances will again allow, again to address the most important items to you first. By repeating this you will have your every day life looking and functioning the way it should, no more cabinet door that you have to open that certain way so it won't fall off, or what have you. We do charge for time in acquisitioning the necessary supplies, typically one hours time and will take away all waste produced every time for a nominal fee if desired. Handyman in the truest sense. In the past we've installed bat houses, repaired decks, righted sheds & concrete stairs, re-screened/repair patio doors & wheels, fixed cabinet doors, repaired exterior rot (selectively) with new trim or rot specific hardeners. Hung pictures and paintings, assembled diy furniture and yard playsets. Cleaned gutters, pressure washed for miles, install/repair storm drs. Really the variety is boundless with the only exception being jobs that require bldg. permits.

Recent Review: The "showroom" at Reeds Ferry is a large area with many different types of buildings they provide.  You should certainly go there if you are serious about seeing the differences and to see the construction quality.  The sales team was not pushy and did not try to upsell me.  We settled on a 10x12 shed with double doors on one end.  They took our deposit and set a date for delivery of the shed. I had to prepare the site for the shed which wasn't too tough.  They showed up on time, three guys in a truck,  2 of them unloaded the parts while the third took to tearing down the 30 year old metal shed.  He only needed a hammer, folded it up like some sort of giant metal origami and carried it himself to the truck.  They also took the wooden foundation so all that was left was the cinder blocks.  That was well worth the small extra cost!  The crew was at our house for about 6 hours, the walls and trusses were prebuilt but they had to build the roof and put on the siding.  When they were done, there were no loose nails or scraps of material, the lawn wasn't damaged.  It was a very smooth and painless install. They said I had a 30 year warranty and to call if I had any problems.  A couple of months after, I received a survey from another company to talk about my experience with Reeds Ferry.  The double door latch was sticky at the top so I was only using the bottom one.  I also found a partial nail hole in the siding that I hadn't noticed before so I mentioned that in the survey.  Just that I was planning on calling but just hadn't gotten around to it.  Within an hour, the VP of Reeds Ferry e-mailed me and dispatched a tech to my house in 2 days!  I told him my wife sleeps during the day so the tech showed up, swapped out both latches, and replaced the siding, leaving a note on the door describing in detail his tasks.  So now we have a happy wife who got to sleep and a happy shed owner with a more robust door latch. I would consider this exceptional customer service and I have not looked back at the price because the shed is a quality product and I believe the company will stand behind it.  When I show people pictures and tell them it's a Reeds Ferry I usually get the raised eyebrows followed by "you got a good one".  Maybe a little more expensive than other places but well worth it if you ask me.

Recent Review: The crew were punctual even with terrible expressway traffic. They got the base of the shed set in about a half hour so I can inspect and make any changes if needed. In total it took less than 2 hours for them to install everything. Very courteous and quick. They cleaned up and made sure everything was done as agreed upon.
