Easterday Well & Pump
Recent Review: Their guys were great! Each of their respective teams -- well drillers, geothermal loopers, cleanup, interior install, all showed up on time, were thoroughly professional and were cool enough to answer all my questions. More importantly, they all provided excellent quality of work. In addition, the years and breadth of experience of their personnel alleviated any fears I had about something going wrong. Their price was competitive with 4 other drillers but I chose them based on their years of experience and time in the business (3rd generation). In hindsight, they were awesome! These are the guys to choose for anything to do with well drilling or geothermal wells.

Comfort Air

Recent Review: We would like to commend Comfort Air and all its employees for the excellent job provided to us during the entire process from initial price quote through to final inspection. At each point in the process whether we were dealing with a sales person, office staff, installers or supervisors everyone treated us with respect and patience. It didn't matter when we had a question or even if we voiced a concern we were provided with an answer that was thoughtful and truthful. There was no attempt to brush away our concern with bluff or indifference and if the answer could only be provided by another member of the team that person was contacted and they provided an coherent answer for us. This company takes pride in their work and started with the initial contact. The individual who quoted us an estimate was very professional, listened to our wants and desires, didn't try to upsell, and explained the best options for us to choose. At the end, there were no hidden fees or cost overruns due to unforeseen expenses. When the installation process began all employees were respectful of our house laying down drop clothes each day, covering their boots each time they entered the house, and cleaning up all worksites at the end of each day. Work crews arrived each day on time and worked the whole day. Project management on the installation was outstanding. There was no schedule slip, all materials needed for each days work was on hand each day, work didn't stop because a necessary tool was missing, the work designated to be completed each day was done that day. Their professionalism was evident with every interaction we had with everyone at Comfort Air. This was evident from the first day through to the last. Uniforms were serviceable and clean, phone calls to the office were answered promptly and courteously, service vehicles were clean and super organized, and everyone put the customer first. If I were an HVAC professional this is the company I would want to work for as they are far and above the best we have had the pleasure to meet. If anyone is thinking about HVAC work hire these folks.

AJR Heating & Air Conditioning
Recent Review: Bottom line first - I am extremely pleased with the quality of the job and the attention to detail.  Installing geothermal heating and cooling is a challenging and large job, and this company has it down to a science.  I have very high standards and AJR met and exceeded them.  For example, everything was neatly tied down and ducts were superbly sealed.  They use state of the art materials.  I could not wait to turn the system on.  Luckily it was warm enuf for air conditioning and the cooling power is instantaneous and beyond anything gas or oil heat generates.  Now that I've turned the heat on, I am equally impressed. From beginning to end, AJR took care of all the details.  They were patient with me as I asked many questions along the way.    I highly recommend them.

Sales pitch was great. John Love was very informative. Never received the formal quote though. I called twice and each time it was "I'll have out to you by the end of today" ... Nothing.

I had an excellent experience with everyone at Supreme. They got me exactly what I needed and were willing to work with me. I am a very particular person about things and these guys did a great job of listening and following through. I have a historic house and there are a lot of "extra details" that needed to be worked out. Juan was great and it was nice to have a salesman with the mechanical and engineering background to set the system up exactly as needed for the house. The ducting guys were subcontracted but still did a great job of working with me to hid the ductwork as best that could be done with an old house. Cleaned up well too! The excavators were incredible and really took the time to make sure the yard went from looking like a bomb went off to perfectly flat the next day (they even took care of some ruts the well diggers left. Well guys were subcontracted and were in and out in three days; quick and friendly. The installation crew was clean, very informative and professional. The quality crew did a great job on final. I really cant say enough good things. It is really hard to find someone to do anything right these days and I was very skeptical about a huge job like this, but I have to say this was the smoothest job I have had - ever. and my electric bill and the comfort is more than I ever expected. They even helped me with my rebates! Filled out all the paperwork, made sure all was in order. Would definitely recommend!

We have been looking to replace our old HVAC system, and wanted to go with a modern Geothermal system.  I did a fair amount of research on my own, so I was well versed in the technology and options.  After getting estimates from numerous contractors, Groundloop was the only one that I felt was being completely honest with us regarding our options and the advantages and disadvantages of each.  Their staff was courteous and professional. The actual installation is pretty complex, and involved digging up much of our front yard, followed by the actual equipment installation and tuning.  We took this time to get other work done, and Groundloop was more then willing to work with us coordinating with other contractors, inspections, etc. Currently in MD, Geothermal installs are eligible for a number of tex incentives, as well as grants.  Groundloop helped with all of those processes, filling out forms, sending us contact info, and always willing to answer questions we had. A project of this size is complicated, and expensive.  We wanted to ensure we had a reputable company that would stand by their claims and work.  I feel that Groundloop meets all of these items.   Mike

Great service and great company to work with.  We had a geothermal system installed and new ductwork run throughout the entire house - Everyone who came to our home was professional and very mindful of keeping our home neat and clean.  Would definitely recommend Supreme Air to anyone looking for a new geothermal system.

The state and federal government subsidies made me start to seriously consider replacing my existing HVAC system. My old system would constantly run in the summer time and the house had difficultly keeping 70 degrees when it was over 90 degrees outside. I had doubts if the engineering would be sufficient because the rule of thumb is 200 feet per ton of cooling and the system is a variable speed 3/4 ton unit. I contacted the east coast representative for Water Cooler (maker of the HVAC unit) and they assured me that 600' would be more than sufficient. The outside unit was removed and the new unit is in my basement. It runs so quietly that most people can not ever hear it. I can barely hear the unit (less noise than a refrigerator. The unit is designed to constantly run and the house has never been cooler. The unit has not failed me and I am looking forward to the winter to see how well it performs. The air quality has also improved because the unit uses large filters (up to #13 for maximum filtering) that are easy to replace and can be ordered online. The thermostat reminds me when it's time to replace the filter (@every three months). Ground Loop did an excellent job in the engineering, installation, and maintenance. I had an issue with the thermostat giving an incorrect humidity reading. The technician came out the next day and swapped the unit out - still didn't fix the problem. He contacted Water Furnace and manually adjusted the internal sensor to compensate for the problem. I have owned my home since 1993 and this is the first time the HVAC unit has worked properly. Ground Loop sized the unit correctly and installed it in my basement without and problems or concerns. I highly recommend them.

The installation went extremely well. Only one day of digging in the yard to install the ground loops. We had two units installed in the house, one in the basement and one in the attic, which took a bit over two weeks. The Ground Loop team members were extremely knowledgeable about their products. They were very courteous and professional. They arrived on time and cleaned up any messes they made. If you want a geothermal system, Ground Loop is the company to call.
