Cindy is amazing! I can't say enough about how incredible she was at working with me to tackle all the piles of "stuff" that had been overwhelming me forever. She was upbeat and positive throughout the process of figuring out what to let go of and what to keep - and where to keep it. She has creative, "do-able" organizing solutions that you can maintain afterward. She understands how tough decision-making can be during a decluttering session and is able to get you to push through it, without being judgmental or overbearing. We accomplished a lot during our sessions and it was well-worth the money. (My husband was thrilled that she took away the things we didn't want and saved us trips to Goodwill and the dump!) I now subscribe to her blog about organizing all kinds of things and always find helpful information and resources. As the result of a coupon offer, I called Absolutely Organized for assistance in putting a jumbled storage room in order. The receptionist answering the call for an appointment asked a lot of detailed questions explaining this was important to send the right person for the job, for them to be well prepared and to be able to start work promptly. At the current time, I was physically limited in what I could lift due to shoulder problems but wanted to be included in the work. I was also overwhelmed with coping with a sick family member to whom I travelled every week. I explained all of this and also that I needed a "jump start" which I could continue: I identified the kind of items in the storage area and about the size. An appointment was made for within 1-2 weeks. She sent Valerie Busalacchi. Awesome! Valerie was prompt and ready to go. Valerie has excellent analysis skills, looked over items and began immediately. "How often do you use this?" was a frequent question. We categorized by trash, recycle, seasons, usage. We used my wet/dry vac (which wasn't running right and solved a plugged hose problem!) and cleaned floor. Large items were moved in such a way there were good walk spaces, sight lines and utilization of floor/wall space. Valerie was a delight and I would certainly use her again. My goal for a "jump start" was accomplished in that I continued working on my household spaces.

McClean Cleaning Services has provided our family with a great service. They have cleaned and organized our house for over 10 years. They come every week to clean and organize our home. This company is very professional and trustworthy. The workers are very concerned on having their job well done and on time. In addition this company does quality control on each job to ensure client's satisfaction. I tried other cleaning services prior to McClean Services and they were not satisfactory. They provided us with very poor services and were late various times. We can really count on McClean Services for our house to be organized and cleaned. They have exceed my expectations. Joan Robinson was my project manager and she was a delight to work with. Joan and an assistant went through our entire basement, attic and garage, clearing out many years? accumulation of junk! They reordered the contents of my major kitchen cabinets, my dining room buffet, and organized two front hallway entry closets, plus a home office closet. In addition, they made several trips to Goodwill to donate usable clothing and household items and hauled away most of the trash. A couple very large items were picked up by Bumble Junk. As noted by another reviewer, there is little that these women won?t tackle and they are tireless! Also, they treated the contents of my home with the same care and consideration they would give their own possessions. Although I wish their price was lower, it is comparable with other similar services. And when I think of the effort involved and the time and stress it has saved me, their service is worth the expense. I look forward to working again with them in the future.

It went pretty good. She basically did what I wanted to get done. She was more interested in changing furniture around and I wasn't interested in that. It was pretty expensive. I think it was about $90 an hour and I had her for 4 hours. I needed the room cleared out. I had bunch of stuff and boxes. I didn't think she was going to be able to do it in 4 hours and she did. She got the room cleared out. She is really good and quick at unpacking boxes and getting stuff put away. IF you're interested in having somebody move stuff in a way that looks better, she'll probably be good on that but I just want at all that interested.

They were very nice and they were good about writing by email and getting back to me right away. They came to the house and assessed the organizing. Then they went to work and did some really good organization for us. I have actually been able to keep it up. They were really good with the paperwork. They wrote down everything. They are really good organizing professionals. They were very trustworthy to have in my house. I left my house and did not have to worry about them, and I am very picky. If I had to pay out of pocket the full price, I would say they were expensive. With the coupon, I did not have to pay the going rate.

Before arriving at our house Brenda took time to talk with us over the phone, look at pictures, and suggest some items that we could purchase to make our time more productive. We ended up installing two cabinets before she arrived. When she arrived she didn't waste any time, but got right to work.
